Using data from the control table
Hello
I would like to use the data entered in a table to automate volume/sequence of airflow for a test Chamber. As shown in the screenshot of control table, the first column indicates the number of iterations by elements of array in a series of tests and the second data column specifies the length of each line sequence. Entries in the other columns are specific to different valves and specify values set required in the flow meter.
I guess my question is how can I index/assign each column of the table such that the data to exploit the respective valves are obtained in subsequent iterations all acquire simultaneously with data from other components in the order? While I recognize that the solution may be very simple, I searched on through various examples and messages on the tables and the tables without knocking on a solution. The attached .vi allows me to be a part of the series of tests.

Hi Callisto,
If I understand your question then the solution is actually quite simple. The important point to keep in min is the fact that the Table control can actually be treated as an array of string. You can then use all the traditional table manipulation tools and techniques to manipulate your data as you wish. For example, use the Array Index function to retrieve specific columns and then if you want to spend the individual elements in a column in a loop, wire the table until the loop and ensure that indexing is enabled. If you then want to use these data elements to control your test application, you can convert a portion of the resulting string in more useful to digital.

Have you tried a battery pull? This should fix a problem as you described.
With your phone, remove the battery, then replace a minute later. This will do all sorts of wonderful things to your phone for free unclaimed memory, delete no cited source points and make your phone run smoothly.
Try it and let us know if it does the trick.

is it possible to export data from a database table in a CSV with an owb mapping. I think that it should be possible, but I didn't yet. Then someone can give me some tips how to handle this? Someone has a good article on the internet or a book where such a problem is described.

Disadvantages of the default tablespace using to store data from the partitioned table?
Can someone tell me, are there disadvantages, performance problems using default storage in oracle?
I not create any tablespace during the creation of the database, but all the data partitioned in a tablespace named 'USERS' default... I will continue using the same tablespce...? I'm storing the data in the table where the growth of the table will be great... it can contain millions of records...? It will produce no degradation of performance? Suggest me on this...Different storage areas for administration and easier maintenance. In some cases for performance reasons so different disks are representative to the database (fast and not so fast, different levels of raid...)
For example if you have several diagrams of database for different applications, you may want to separate schema objects to different storage spaces.
Or, for example, you want to keep in database read-write tablespaces and just only read. Read-write tablespaces with the data files will be on very fast disks, read only the cheaper and perhaps more slowly (not required). Again separate tablespaces makes this very easy thing to do.
Or you would like to keep separate indexes from tables and keep them in a different tablespace on the different mountpoint (disc). In this case probably better is to use ASM, but it's more than a reason to separate.And in your case-, it may be easier to manage if you create a new storage space for these new objects.
For example:
1 storage space for small tables
1 storage space for small index
1 storage space for large tables
1 storage space for large index
and so on. All depends on your particular architecture and database data growth and what you do with these data after a year, two years, three... -

Sorry, I wasn't sure if it was available in 8.6, apparently not.
You could create an indicator of fine print and use 'picture to a worksheet string' to complete. Now, you can just cut & paste the text instead.

I have a Web page that retrieves the content in a database. The table are filled via a restricted page that was created for the data entry. I just want to know is anyway we can push the old data to another table after so long. For example if the data was created in table1 for seven days, the eighth day, I like the data that have been put on the day 1 to table2 kind that table1 will have room for the data that will be created to update 8. I would like to only 7 days worth of data in table1. Also how to remove completely from table2 data after 90 days. Also, what must you do to have the last entry in the table of row1.of

It's a simple matter of logic. Get the last seven days is to retrieve dates that have overtaken less seven. To get days 2 to 7, you need to dates that are less than or equal to today less than 1 AND greater than or equal to 7 today.

I'm new to this forum and Oracle coding complex.
I have a task in which I want to compare two tables with the same structure, same columns. My Oracle database is 11g Release 2. I want this column-by-column comparison and save the result in a separate table. (say result_table)
The structure of the table would be as follows:

Both of the tables EMPNO is the primary key.
I want to compare these two tables based on the EMPNO (EMPNO even is both tables).
The result log table would be as follows:

The name of the table and the name of the column will not be hardcoded (based parameter by user)
I tried to use the dbms_comparison package, but do not find comparison of column to column.
I also used by using the query operator LESS. It's showing the difference in rank.

It's a little unsure what you're asking.
The following query always includes the lines where mgr is NULL and when the binding variable: mgr is NULL, it displays all the lines:SELECT * FROM emp WHERE LNNVL (mgr != :mgr) ;
In other words, when: 7698 = mgr, it displays 6 rows and when: mgr is NULL, it displays 14 rows (assuming you are using the table provided by Oracle scott.emp).
The following query includes lines where Bishop is ZERO only when the binding variable: mgr is NULL, in which case it shows all lines:
SELECT * FROM emp WHERE :mgr = mgr OR :mgr IS NULL ;
When: mgr = 7698, this will display 5 rows and when: mgr is NULL, it displays 14 rows.
The following query includes lines where Bishop is ZERO only when the link variab; e: mgr is NULL, in which case it shows only those rows where mgr is NULL. In other words, it treats NULL as a value:

export data from the table in xml files

This thread to get your opinion on how export data tables in a file xml containing the data and another (xsd) that contains a structure of the table.
For example, I have a datamart with 3 dimensions and a fact table. The idea is to have an xml file with data from the fact table, a file xsd with the structure of the fact table, an xml file that contains the data of the 3 dimensions and an xsd file that contains the definition of all the 3 dimensions. So a xml file fact table, a single file xml combining all of the dimension, the fact table in the file a xsd and an xsd file combining all of the dimension.
I never have an idea on how to do it, but I would like to have for your advise on how you would.
Thank you in advance.You are more or less in the same situation as me, I guess, about the "ORA-01426 digital infinity. I tried to export through UTL_FILE, content of the relational table with 998 columns. You get very quickly in this case in these ORA-errors, even if you work with solutions CLOB, while trying to concatinate the column into a CSV string data. Oracle has the nasty habbit in some of its packages / code to "assume" intelligent solutions and converts data types implicitly temporarily while trying to concatinate these data in the column to 1 string.
The second part in the Kingdom of PL/SQL, it is he's trying to put everything in a buffer, which has a maximum of 65 k or 32 k, so break things up. In the end I just solved it via see all as a BLOB and writing to file as such. I'm guessing that the ORA-error is related to these problems of conversion/datatype buffer / implicit in the official packages of Oracle DBMS.
Fun here is that this table 998 column came from XML source (aka "how SOA can make things very complicated and non-performing"). I have now 2 different solutions 'write data to CSV' in my packages, I use this situation to 998 column (but no idea if ever I get this performance, for example, using table collections in this scenario will explode the PGA in this case). The only solution that would work in my case is a better physical design of the environment, but currently I wonder not, engaged, as an architect so do not have a position to impose it.

I have three databases oracle running in three different machines. their ip address is different. among the DB can access databases. (means am able to select values and insert values into tables individually.)
I need to extract data from the DB1 table (ip say DB1 is 10.10.10.10 and the user is DB1user and the table is DB1user_table) and insert the values into DB2 table (say ip DB2 is 11.11.11.11 and the user is DB2user and table DB2user_table) of DB3 that is to have access to the two IPs DB.
How do I do this

Change some parameter of sqlplus session are almost mandatory in order to get decent transfer rates. Tuning ARRAYSIZE and COPYCOMMIT can make a huge difference in flow. LONG change may be necessary, too, depending on your data. The documentation offers these notes on use:
To activate the copy of data between Oracle and databases non-Oracle, NUMBER of columns is replaced by DECIMAL columns in the destination table. Therefore, if you are copying between Oracle databases, a NUMBER column with no precision will become a DECIMAL column (38). When copying between Oracle databases, you must use SQL commands (CREATE TABLE AS and INSERTION), or you must make sure that your columns have a specified precision.
SQL * the VALUE LONGER variable limits the length of the LONG column you are copying. If all LONG columns contain data exceeds the value of LONG, COPY truncates the data.
SQL * Plus performs a validation at the end of each successful COPY. If you set the SQL * variable more COPYCOMMIT DEFINED to a value positive n, SQL * Plus performs a validation after copying all lots n of records. The SQL * Plus ARRAYSIZE variable SET determines the size of a batch.
Some operating environments require that the service names be placed between double quotes.
From a SQL * Plus term on DB3, can resemble the command to move all content from my_table in DB1 to the same table in DB2
COPY from user1/pass1@DB1 to user2/pass2@DB2 - INSERT INTO my_table - USING select * from my_table
Note the SQL code * more line-continuation character ' - '. It is used to escape the newline character in a SQL * Plus command if you do not have to type all on one line. I use it all the time with this command, but I can't locate the documentation on that right now. Maybe someone else can put their finger on it.
There are other ways to accomplish what the command copy and it is not without its quirks and limitations, but I find that there is usefulness in an Oracle Toolbox.
