Using the back button in Chrome ignores bookmarks page

Yesterday I was browsing through my bookmarks - but today I found my 'back button' now ignores my bookmarks page & rather leads me to the page previously visited.
My Chrome browser has started doing it a few weeks ago, so I installed Chrome Beta - it started this strange behavior.
No idea what changed - please help...

@Dean_Weaver

I see the same behavior on my premium Z5 and other Xperias, since Chrome is not a Sony app, you might want to check with the developers of Chrome/Google

You can try this, settings > apps > all the > chrome > uninstall updates > clear data

  • Cannot use the back button on the Web PDF pages

    I Windows 7, Internet Explorer (IE) 11 and Adobe Reader DC, all day. Whenever I go to a PDF Web page by clicking on a link in the Google search results and then want to return to the search results page by clicking the back button on the browser, it will not go back. Page PDF just charging once again. This does not occur when I use my browser Google Chrome, when I use IE. It happens with every page PDF that I access from the Google search on Internet Explorer. What can I do to be able to use the back button on the Web PDF page?

    Google made a diversion when you click on a search result. You can see if you right click on a such result and select Copy link location, and then paste. Is not the real address - the web site, but a link to a page of Google.com. So when you click on back after going to her, you can end up on the same redirect page, which automatically will then take you to its destination... Some browsers can handle this better than others, but it is not related to the PDF file you open.

  • When I hit the back button to return to previous page...

    ... I get the dialog box: confirm: Firefox must send information that will repeat any action (for example, a search or order confirmation) that was carried out earlier. Return or cancel, is possible to disable this very annoying (for me anyway).

    I know what I want to do and it annoys the hell out of me.

    You receive an alert to send POST data if you return to a page or refresh a page that was requested in advance from the server by submitting form via a (hidden) MESSAGE form data.

    Firefox can only make sure to get the same page send this POST form.

    Firefox doesn't know what it means shape data, so Firefox asks for confirmation before sending the form data so action can you take to repeat an action and buy another article or post a message once.

    A way to prevent that pop up is not to use the back button, but to open the links on a page that have been requested from a server by sending a MESSAGE form in a new tab (window) with a middle click or a Ctrl + left click.

    Then you can close the tab or window to go back.

  • How to use the "back" button to return to the new page tab in FF15

    In FF14 I could
    (1) open the new tab and see the new tabs with thumbnails of page 9 page.
    2) click on a thumbnail and go to this page.
    (3) click on the back of FF button, who took me to the new tab page so I could click on some other thumbnail.

    In FF15 which doesn't seem to work. In step 3 above, the previous button is not active/active and so I can easily go back to the new page tab. How to get back in a simple way?

    No, you can no longer use the previous button back to the topic: newtab page if you have opened a page by clicking on one of the slots on this page.

    You need to close the tab and open a new tab to get this page or set as the home page and click on the Home button.

  • Using the "back button" update for the LCD screen on the 60 d

    I used this method all the time, but now when I push on the development of the "back" button, it snaps as it is to take a picture, but no image is recorded on the SD card. When I look through the viewfinder and use the button "return" of discussion, it works perfectly.  I would like to know how to get back to the old method of development on the LCD screen, with the emphasis of the "back" button.  My Canon is a 60 d

    You must go to the menu and move the quick mode to Live Mode.  In fast mode, when you press on the "back" button, the mirror flips down (click) and the camera tries to focus.  He has not yet made the photo.  To take a photo, you must listen to the AF confirm beep, then press the shutter button.  Quick mode is in fact the "snail", in my opinion .  Read more about this on page 160-168 of this manual.

    Hi I have a folio with a series of projects, and I wanted to use the back option as different access for each project points

    Goto://FolioNavigation/lastview

    but each project has a section of the image that are associated with him, and it has a button on the back specifically to main article of the project. But when you click on the back button now the main artcile, need you for article image, not back to where the person wud have wanted to be.

    I can't think of one work around other dating back to the use of specific page navto, but as the means to determine the access point that are not possible. Or double the articles entirely.

    Any help appreciated.

  • Using the "back" button

    I have a problem with a "back" button that I help with a few weeks ago that I thought worked 100% and answered correctly, but still need help (it's close).

    Framework of example 1, image 2, image 3, image 4, box 5

    I start to frame 1 and go to 2, 3, 4, and 5. He let me just back to frame 2. So if I starts going forward again in structure 2 and go to 3, 4, and 5. I can only go back to frame 3.

    I think the problem is it removes the images before entering the current frame. How can I fix it? The code I am using (http://forums.adobe.com/message/4620868#4620868) is:

    The table will be a list of your steps

    set the table:

    var myBackList:Array = new Array();

    now whenever he change you it to another setting, add to the list (array) name of the label of the frame

    i.e.

    myButtonGoToFirstSection.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, gotoFirstSection)

    function gotoFirstSection(e:MouseEvent):void {}

    gotoAndStop ("FirstSeccion")

    myBackList.push ("FirstSeccion") //this add the label to the table

    }

    then the code for the back button is:

    myBackButton.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, goBack)

    function goBack(e:MouseEvent):void {}

    gotoAndStop (myBackList.pop ())

    }

    Thanks in advance - John

    use:

    var myBackList:Array = new Array();

    var backFrame: *;

    var forwardFrame: * = 1;

    myBackList.push (1);

    myButtonGoToFirstSection.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, gotoFirstSection);

    function gotoFirstSection(e:MouseEvent):void {}

    addForwardBool = true;

    addFrameF();

    forwardFrame = "FirstSeccion";

    gotoAndStop ("FirstSeccion");

    }

    function addFrameF (): void {}

    If (forwardFrame & addForwardBool) {}

    myBackList.push (forwardFrame);

    }

    If (backFrame & addBackBool) {}

    myBackList.push (backFrame);

    }

    addBackBool = false;

    addForwardBool = false;

    }

    myBackButton.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, goBack);

    function goBack(e:MouseEvent):void {}

    backFrame = myBackList.pop ();

    {if (backFrame)}

    addBackBool = true;

    gotoAndStop (backFrame);

    }

    }

    For this issue, you need not to clear cookies, just put in cache. Certainly, you don't need to erase all the cookies.

    If you want to delete cookies for a single site only, you can use the Page Info dialog box.

    While displaying a page on the site, try either:

    • Right click on the page > View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies".
    • (menu bar) Tools > Page Info > Security > 'view the Cookies '.
    • Click on the padlock or globe in the address bar > additional information > "View Cookies".

    In the dialog that opens, the name of the site should be pre-filled in the search/filter above box. Here you can remove cookies from the site individually.

    Older Firefox had this coming message in case you have used the back to go to a page that is requested from the server with the POST data specific to a form previously sent.

  • Firefox automatically updated itself, would not add new bookmarks, then deleted all mine, will not always add new, now the back button does not work. I'm Livid.

    I think I'm on Firefox 13.0. He put itself as part of the update of my computer up to date (at least I guess that's what happened, because it has changed). I noticed yesterday that he would not favorite Web sites, but I thought it was just the website or bookmarks have been full-time or something. Today, I tried to remove a few bookmarks to make more, but they would not remove. I tried to register a new site, and it wouldn't work. I tried to close/exit firefox and re-opening of the program. While the program was closed, I installed the next set of updates on my computer. When I have opened firefox, all my favorites, and the tab menu (or what you call personal small bar on the actual tabs) were gone. I can't always favorite of new sites, so I can't even re-do all my favorites (and I got a lot, all of them arranged so it's a big loss and incredibly annoying). Then I realized that the back button does not work. And the cursor remains on the typing that I symbol, it does not change the arrow, when I click on a link.

    One possible cause is a problem with the places.sqlite file that stores the bookmarks and history.

    You can also try to repair the database of places with this extension:
