Keep the computer plugged in whenever possible.

If you keep the computer always connected, make sure that at least twice a month

Run it on battery until battery charge level falls to about 40-50%.

Please don't completely discharge the battery. Discharge the battery completely will reduce wear and tear on the battery.

Citing at the bottom of the linked article.

"The question is often asked:" should I disconnect my laptop from the mains when not in service? Under normal circumstances it should not be necessary because as soon as the lithium-ion battery is full, a properly functioning charger will stop the load and load the pad will only engage when the battery voltage drops to a low level. Most of the users do not remove AC power, and this practice is safe. »

  • HP Pavilion Notebook - 15-ab15: is - it bad for the battery to always have the charger plugged?

Sorry if 'hardware and upgrade' are bad advice for this question but I've not found a better...

Is it bad for the battery to always have the charger plugged? 99% of the time that I have the laptop on a table and it's easier for me to leave the charger connected, instead of worrying about the battery percentage all the time.

    Hello:

    Yes.

  • Is Re: Satellite A500-17 X - it allowed to do work with the charger plugged?

Is it OK to play games / work with the charger plugged into my laptop all the time or by doing this will cause the battery becoming weaker?

I remember having a laptop earlier and 3 hours battery lasted only 30 minutes.
This will happen to my Toshiba A500 computer laptop X 17 too if I had to plug my charger all the time?

Should I get out the battery if you don't use?

    > Is it OK to play games / work with the charger plugged into my laptop all the time or by doing this will cause the battery becoming weaker?
Yes you can do it and you should not be afraid that this will affect the battery!
After that the battery has been recharged, the grief process stops and the battery is not looping
My cell phone is always on the AC adapter at home and the battery is still OK and it work properly!

  • Leave the charger plugged

I heard myths on both sides. Is it bad for the battery if I leave my charger permanently connected?

    I have a aspire s3 ultrabook.

Batteries may have a cutoff point, but with the charger plugged in, the battery is not used.

I can also speak from experience. People who leave their always connected laptops have a reduced autonomy than those who regularly use the battery.

To be fair, the batteries are better now that they used to be, but they still have to pay from time to time.

  • black vertical line when using the charger on my HP 6500 E709n

When you use the loader on my HP 6500 E709n, I get vertical black line in the middle of the page.  It appears on outgoing faxes just like any time I copy or scan.  He can't if I lay the originals directly on the glass, only when you use the charger. OfficeJet pro 8600 print a single vertical black line when using the charger

    Hi @realestatejeann,

I see that you have found one black vertical line when using the ADF. With a few steps, we should be able to solve this problem.

Make sure that the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (do not use a hub or a surge protector) This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

Here is a document for the cleaning of the glass Strip and the underside of the scanner cover.

Vertical stripes, lines or streaks on Copies, faxes or scans.

If you need help, let me know.

    Good day!
    Thank you.

  • 8500 A909G - Feeder causes black streaks on faxes/scans/print jobs... ONLY when you use the charger

Charger cause black streaks on faxes/scans/print jobs... ONLY when using the charger... If I put something on the glass and printing fax/scan/or it... everything's fine... it was ONLY when I use the charger... did someone come up with a solution to this problem?  Looking at the other reports, it was NOT those that have been fixed... I hope that someone can help me solve this problem, as it was NOT a printer not expensive to buy...

I'm sorry you have a problem with the vertical lines in the ADF.

Try to clean with water and lint rollers. There is also a glass of small strip (rectangular) when you lift the lid. Also clean.

  • Battery high capacity HP, it's OK to keep the charger plugged in?

    Hi all

This is my first question here and I hope that you will help me

I want to ask if it's OK to keep the charger is plugged into the laptop while the battery is full?

I mean when the battery is 100%, the energy will go directly to the PC or it will go to the battery before?

    Hello

These days the batteries must be smart enough to stop takes over when it is full. I don't see the difference of remove and keep the batteries on the sector, some machines sit on a docking station all the time and some machines can be ON / OFF. This is my response to another post:

  • Palm tx only works with the charger plugged

My palm that TX only works when it is plugged into the ac charger.  The symptoms started after I left unused device for about 2 weeks.  When it is plugged in, I get the symbol of battery charging.  The battery icon says 100%.  As soon as I unplug the charger, it dies.  I left it plugged for 2.5 hrs and still does not work when I unplug. I tried to reset hard with no improvement.

    Do I need new battery?

    Thank you

A last ditch effort - connect the charger and press the reset button.  Let the TX through a soft reset and let it charge for a few hours.

If still no joy, so yes it looks that your battery has reached the end of its useful life.

Many places online will repair it for you, or allow you to buy a battery and DIY.  See directfix.com for a video on the TX of repair.

  • Can I load MDR100ABN listener using the charger that comes with mobile phones

Can I load MDR100ABN earpiece with charger that comes with mobile or camera DSC-HX90V

    Hello, ss2016!

It is recommended to use only the USB cable provided with the product itself. But if it is a Sony USB cable, then it should be all right. I load all my Sony products with different cables Sony too (as long as the load cables shown in the port of loading of the product), and there is no problem. They all work very well. No problem whatsoever. I never use another cable other than a charge cable Sony with my Sony products. If the is a charger for Sony, there should be no problem using it as a charging cable. Make sure that it fits into the port of loading of the headphones. The DSC-HX90V is also a Sony product, so it shouldn't be a problem using the Sony camera cable to charge your Sony headphones. In other words, make sure you only use cables from Sony to charge Sony products. (But we must ensure that the cable Sony fits into the Sony product)

    Best regards

  • Venue Pro 8: use the charger with a little more voltage and current?

I just bought a Dell came Pro 8 tablet used running Windows 8.1. The seller didn't have the original charger, so he gave me a 12W of Apple loader that had taken out nominal 5.2V and 2. 4A

Is it okay to use this charger for my Tablet? Any potential problems in the long term?

    Thank you!

I'm sure that the voltage is OK to 99.9%.  The extent of the current note goes, which is often misunderstood.  The rated current for a charger power or power is the maximum that the charger/power is able to provide. It could be evaluated to a zillion amps, but the equipment to which it will draw only what it requires.
