Update Windows KB936330 says it installed, but it isn't there
Windows update says it successfully installed SP1 (KB936330) but is not here, it is not listed on the system information page or my list of files in the Panel. It appears only in my history as being successfully installed update. So I then tried to install manually and I said the file doesn' work on my OS, I am running Windows Vista Home Premium, this is a re - install after installing a new hard drive. HELP, PLEASE! I've tried everything.
Hi, Greg.
Go to start > right click on computer
Select Properties
If service pack 1 is installed, it will be displayed
When you installed new hard disk, you use the manufacturer's recovery media? Look on the label of the CD. He can tell the system recovery of Windows Vista Home Premium SP1. If so, it is installed.

One of the reasons for the use of firefox is its ability to be in place and ready to use quickly (I was one of the first users.) Now, Google and dare say int explore seem to have the advantage
One possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or limits Firefox or plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.
Delete all rules for Firefox in the list of permissions in the firewall and leave your firewall again ask permission to get full unlimited access to the internet for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.
See:
Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).
- Makes no changes on the start safe mode window.
Create a new profile as a test to see if your profile is the source of the problems.
See "basic troubleshooting: a new profile:There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "tools > Modules > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
If this new profile works then you can transfer files from the old profile to the new profile, but make sure not to copy corrupted files.

my windows vista says I need a product key can you help me with this
why I need a product key
If it's demand for product key of Microsoft Office, then by chance you used the "demo" of the suite version Microsoft Office?
If so, the trial version is good for only 60 dyas. After 60 days, the programs will no longer be used. You can buy the "paid" version if you want to continue to use its programs.
That's why you were asked for the product key. For the benefits of others looking for answers, please mark as answer suggestion if it solves your problem. -
Windows 8 saying the printer, but still printing error
Good so I just got a new labtop (hp) with windows 8 and hp envy 4500 printers range, whenever I have print something (via wireless) on the labtop in the upper right corner, a popup will say print error (can't remember exactly what he said) but eitherway, it's saying that, but the printer prints. Why it keep popping up saying error or if it is but there is nothing wrong and it is printing. Not a huge problem but kind of boring, thanks, Sarah
Hi TonyKnVA
I understand that the printer does not print several pages.
Here is a url to temporarily disable all the startup programs to see if one of them is causing problems.
Try to print a document from multiple page of two different applications.
You must follow the same steps to reactivate all.
Let me know if that makes a difference.

As above
Be careful with this one pop up like that can easily infect you with malware.
Don't update Firefox via "> about" or download the version of Firefox (full) from the Mozilla server.

Remove the child window Parent using WIN API
Hi all
For a parent-child relationship between two screws using the User32.dll I use the SetParent function and pass the handle of the parent VI and VI child to this function. Now, after this relationship has been established, I want to remove the child from the parent window and use it as an independent VI using WIN API. Can someone help me on this?
Thanks in advance!
Fragger Fox!
Hi Fragger Fox,
I think that it should be possible, if you assign a new parent to the child. Maybe this works if you assign the desktop as a new parent.
It will be useful.

original title: is it legal?
I read on Internet that Linux users can download and run official Windows software on their computer using a program called wine.
If the Windows program they want to run is something that is free, is Live Photo Gallery or Windows Live Movie Maker legal to use with the demand for wine?
Thanks for your time!Yes, perfectly legal, if it wasn't, I don't know that Microsoft would have to stop them. If you spent $500, you are free to install it on the operating system of your choice, although versions recent Office 2010 and 2007 version and software such as Windows Live Essentials won't probably wine.
Check out the following experiment using WINE and Windows on Linux applications:

Just DLd CD player. Now, nothing will be printed. I also get error app for Windows (0xc0000022) whenever I start CD player. I uodated download of the last update and tried an auto repair. Using Win 7 Pro 64 bit machine. I tried several printers and I can test printing from other applications such as Outlook and Wordpad.
None of this has worked. I have to get rid of the error (0 x 000022) and he got good printing. I did clean the Adobe Reader DC machine, reinstalled drive XI 11.0.10 and in the preferences to disabled Adobe protected in Security (Enhanced) Mode and set "view documents I have PDF/A mode" forever in the Documents tab...
It seems that each player version as it becomes more complex (with the "features enhanced security") gets more unstable.
I'll try Adobe Reader DC when I eventually have to WIN 10 which is never if all goes well.

Think about it an absolute must - manually update your drivers.
Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.
This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:
This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:
-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded
on your system. For each driver in the list, additional useful information is
Poster: load address of the driver, description, version, product name,.
company that created the driver and more.
http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.htmlFor drivers, visit Maker as replacements and system manufacturer of device which are
the most recent. Control Panel - write - graphics card - device manager
the brand and complete model of your video card - double click - tab of the driver-
Note the version information. Now click on UPdate Driver (this can do nothing
MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then do a right click - Uninstall - REBOOT
This will refresh the driver stack.Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard
If there are 3rd party with their own software and drivers and the other main device drivers
you have. Now, go to the site of the manufacturer of system (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) (restore)
and site (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get the manufacturer and device
their latest versions. (Look for the system to update the BIOS, Chipset and software updates
Site of the manufacturer here.)Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN -.
REBOOT after each installation.Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you are
installation actually appears. This is because that some rollback of drivers before the
later is installed (particularly that audio drivers) so install a driver - reboot.
Make sure that it is installed and repeat if necessary.Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW to the device makers DO NOT RUN THEIR
SCANNER - check manually by model.Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

What is the best strategy to migrate data from Windows to one Mac to another? I use Parallels Desktop to run Windows on my current Mac but want to use Bootcamp on my new.
If it is only the data (not apps) I use Dropbox. It turned out to be the best way to move things between the side Mac and the bootcamped Windows of my iMac side. I don't see why it would not work to move data from a virtual machine installation of Win to a BootCamp installation.
