  My printer utilities seem to have disappeared.  I have an IMAC running OS 10.10 and my office utilities Pro 8500 a jet went bye.  I can't change my print quality or even run all the utilities.

• My 2013 iMac 27 inch runs very slowly

  My iMac (27-inch, late 2013, with a 3.2 GHz Intel Core i5 processor) has been gradually slowing down for a while. I get the dreaded beach ball a lot, sometimes by what seems to be really simple things. Today I left it on when running only Safari. I woke up, I got a message from the system that I was running on the memory of the application and must force quit some applications. With 24 GB RAM available, which didn't make sense to me (I had recently installed 16 GB of RAM (2 x 8) OWC in addition to the original 8 GB (2 x 4), for a total of 24 GB of memory).

  I am running OS X El Capitan (10.11.2). I think I can inadvertently installed some malicious programs. AppleCare is still in force.

  As conditions gradually got worse ovewr the past few months, I tried:

  • Drive 4 Pulse, indicating, I had critical hardware issues, but I never got their thing Bootwell to work, even with the help of their support team. They recommended that replace the hard drive.
  • Apple support. Thay suggested I run Apple Diagnostics, but when he finds nothing wrong, they couldn't do anything. At the time it wasn't that bad and I didn't really drag a 27-inch iMac down to the Genius Bar for help.
  • SpeedTools Utilities Pro. It seemed easier to use than driving impulses. Running a live scan, he finds 54 501 bad sectors on my hard drive of 1 TB. But still, nothing showed on Apple Diagnostics.

  After watching a few discussions re slow iMacs support group today, I learned EtreCheck, downloaded and ran a report. I'll post as a suite.

  My memory really once again, so I am posting this today.

  "Clean apps" or "speed boost" utility are scams, so I would remove such software.

  Please post this report EtreCheck when you get a chance if anyone can help identify a culprit for the slow downs.

• How to change the multimedia buttons on a Satellite A210-17I

  Is it possible to change which applications, multimedia keys on the top of my keyboard, open?

  For example, I would change the button music to open Windows Media Player to iTunes open.

  Yes, West a little program that allows you to assign another applications for the Toshiba help buttons and the internet.

  You can do this by clicking on start-> programs-> Toshiba-> Utilities-> Toshiba Assist-> Optimize-> controls Button Toshiba

• OfficeJet Pro 8100: Utilities application does not start, Officejet Pro 8100

  The printer is working fine, except for the occasional streaks. The problem is when I try to access the cleaning utilities, etc.. When I try to open the app, I see a flash hourglass for a second or two, and it goes no further. I don't see any new task in the windows Task Manager. I completely uninstalled the printer and reinstalled, no luck. Any thoughts?

• Updates the drivers & utilities for Satellite Pro M70 (PSM75)

  How do you know if there are any updates available for the Toshiba drivers and utilities provided with my Satellite Pro M70 (PSM75), the Date of Production - January 27, 2006, and which are in the folder Toolscd (C:\ ToolsCD) on my laptop?

  Is there an update Service that recommend updates available for download?

  I checked the list of available downloads on the download page of the site of Toshiba UK ([http://uk.computers.toshiba-europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/download_drivers_bios.jsp?service=UK]), for the satellite Pro M70 (PSM75) and compared the version numbers of downloads, against the same drivers & Utilities version numbers in the file Toolscd (C:\) ToolsCD) on my laptop (IE in the XML TVersion files), and they are exactly the same, even for 16 drivers and utilities with a "Date last modified" on January 17, 2006 or newer (with new - August 1, 2008)

  The only real update which seems to be offered as a download, is the update of the BIOS v1.50 - WIN (in the BIOS downloads), with a 'last modified Date' of August 7, 2007, for which there is no equivalent in the Toolscd folder.

  I don't think that there is any tool, which continues to tell you that there are new updates available. For Windows, it is clear, that you can use the Windows Update feature. It has some function implemented tools can look for hardware drivers too.
  But for the rest, just keep on visiting the above mentioned page from time to time.

  In any case, if your computer works fine, you will not need any update.

• How to find and save the utilities and drivers for Satellite Pro M10?

  OK, so last time I formatted I not able to find the recovery discs and installed WXP Pro from a CD, there to remove the OEM on the virtual partition! Then spent hours to find the right drivers, etc..

  Is there a way easy to find and backup drivers and utilities that I need for my system before I have format the HD?

  There you should find the most recent version.

  But may I ask how did you try to install the audio driver? Did you get any error messages?

• Installation of Boot Camp utility stopped working after that Win 10 Pro was made.  Installer got stuck on step 'realtek' audio  I restarted Windows, but Boot Camp does not resume or restart the Windows installation process-side utilities?

  How can I get the Boot Camp utility to install entirely in Win 10 Pro?  After winning 10 Pro was finished installing, the installation of Boot Camp process began but eventually got stuck at halfway through (for 20 minutes) on stage 'Realtek Audio.   A restart of Windows has not triggered a recovery or re-starting installation of the Boot Camp utility.  Windows, it works, but I have no utilities 'Boot Camp' and can not find any Boot Camp file stored on the side of Windows again.

  Hi, I've updated my software to 8.1.  Had to do it by hand because it does not work automatically.  You have the printer to work, but I don't see the Toolbox or the utility Panel.  Not sure what you call him, but he gave me access to the computer to the printer, Scanner and Fax.  This has been so helpful.

  It seems that this could not be included in the update for win.8?  If this is the case, it will be one in the future?  I'm really bad without him.

  To get the utilities ensure you have the latest version of the software installed.

  First, press the keys X and Windows Logo on your keyboard, and then click programs and features.

  Type HP ito the search bar, uninstall HP Officejet Pro 8600 base software of the device, if such exist, then clost programs and features dialog box.

  Then download and follow the tool below to reinstall the complete features with the printer Assistant software HP and any related utilties:

• Removed PC Optimizer Pro but still pop up

  I deleted a program, called PRO OPTIMIZER from PC, through the thing to uninstall under windows. now it shows the program he return once again, but it keeps popping up, and the icon is still on my desk. I've tried everything, and it won't remove it yet! Please help, it keeps saying I have errors and other things...

  He knows also all my contact information of the computer, as a model and who owns it when I checked all the details, so this isn't a popup of the internet. and it also shows on my bottom toolbar close date and time :(

  Too much hype registry cleaners and system optimizer are more likely to cause problems while fixing anything.
  These errors are probably still.

  Save your money and uninstall this program.
