  17 inch, AMD processor screen... 2 hours is just. This tutorial can help. The big thing is to turn down the brightness of the screen. This old netbook has a screen 10 thumbs and a very low powered processor. Not really a fair comparison.

• Being always on factory - received only 9 months warranty

  According to the title, after some of the complaints I've seen on these forums, I don't really no why these machines are always be guaranteed in the factory and then by time, that customer gets the machine, like me, there are much shorter warranty remaining. There must be a better warranty than this system? Other laptop brands I've had have involved a client focused on the program of record, or one that runs automatically during installation of windows completely.

  Anyway, rant, could I be guided on the process to reset the warranty please?

  I spoke with the support of Lenovo today here in the United Kingdom.

  They advised me to do is to keep my proof of secure purchase and in the case of a warranty claim I can email a copy of it and they will then allow the repair under warranty.

  So that the procedure is slightly different here, thanks for your information, I'll mark this thread as resolved.

  Hello guys, I'll try to help you turn your old laptop to a monster based on my experiences of real... I decided to upgrade my G570 instead of buying a new laptop a few months ago. The reason was I was satisfied with my laptop and new computer did not have the card I had in my mind. And of course the phones for my requests were around $2,000 cycle. I realized that the most important part of a PC is its disk hard when it comes to performance. I have been using PC for almost 17 years and I tried to upgrade my ram and hard drive all the time like 90% of normal pc users on Earth. A friend of mine who is an it engineer advised me to use SSD instead of HARD drive. So I looked on the net on how to put my HARD drive to SSD.   Thanks Dave, I only tried to think different and it worked very well. After the purchase of 8 laptops I had something too important: buying a new pc is not always the best solution. Yes, we have a new system but each system comes with its own problems and sometimes I miss my old PC. I hope this will help some ppl to decide on what it takes to succeed on a budget.   I need travel in Australia for work. This portable US will be OK when plugged into power in Australia which has a different voltage (assuming I use a plug converter suitable).

  First of all I live in a city called Melbourne (Aystralia) right now and my laptop computer loan spectrum is the United States (office of HP in Utah) and Yes, all I need is a tourist adapter as shown above.

  Second performance I see no difference, please note: we use 240V in Australia and the charger will be doing the work to convert AC current DC to run the laptop.

  I would like to mention here: I've traveled around not less than 20 countries with some laptops (from time to time, not at once) and once again all I need is a universal travel adapter.

  It can also be a problem with the game running through Facebook server.  I noticed a difference in great step lately with Farmville on Facebook compared to when I started playing.  You should check to see if it seems to be the same on the other PC.  I noticed the problem on several machines in different places, so I know that it was not limited to a PC.

  You can try the following and link methods under each method for more information on the same and see if one of them solve the problem.

  Method 1: Start the computer in last good known Configuration

   

  1. Remove all floppy disks, CDs and DVDs from your computer and restart your computer.

  Click the button start , click the arrow next to the button lock , then click on restart.

  1. Do one of the following:

  ·         If your computer has a single operating system installed, press and hold the F8 key as your computer restarts. You need to press F8 before the Windows logo appears. If the Windows logo appears, you need to try again by waiting until the Windows logon prompt appears, and then stop and restart your computer.

  ·         If your computer has more than one operating system, use the arrow keys to select the operating system you want to start, and then press F8.

  1. In the Advanced Boot Options screen, use the arrow keys to select last good known Configuration and press ENTER.
  2. If your computer has multiple operating systems installed, use the arrow keys to select the operating system that you want to start using the last good known Configuration, and then press ENTER. Windows will then resume starting normally.

  I lost the other information by following the instructions found online of other attempts. I have unfortunately seem to have lost all that concerns my old library with the exception of the foregoing. I have been using an external hard drive to make this attempt. When iTunes opens it is empty, and when you try to import the .xml I only get playlists, although there is nothing inside of them. It would not be the end of the world for me to start all over again, I've not lost music files, but loading in my all of my old info is much, much, much more desirable. Thank you!

  Just install itunes.

  Copy the contents of your old folder in the itunes directory and start itunes--> it will do the rest.

  However, I wouldn't bother with itunes more... windows media player is pretty cool in 7, does all the same things.

  You can try with below steps if you want:

  Folder Temp light 1).

  (2) close all running Applications.

  (3) close webistes all opened browser.

  (4)disable the firewall temporarily.

  (5) open only Adobe Web site as it is safe and secure site free of all kind of threats.

  (6) then try to download CS 6 Design Standard and check.

  Note: Though the firewall is disabled. do not open applications, files or even other Web sites.

  Or if you think it is still very slow and would not turn off the firewall , you can try with 3' rd party like download managers: IInternet Download Manager , which is more efficient than the browser built in downloader.

• Tungsten only synchronize with Outlook 2003 after receiving the new laptop

  My laptop previous dead so my IT dept moved my data to a new laptop.  Our programs and data are stored on separate drives.  Palm software & data is stored on the drive program, so I lost everything related to my Palm.  I reinstalled Hotsync Manager from the original CD, but it won't sync with Outlook.  I've also upgraded to v4.1.4 but that did not help.  I also searched the Outlook Conduits by clicking Hotsync > custom in the Palm Desktop program.  I don't see the listed Outlook conduits.  When I run the Hotsync, the Palm Desktop Manager and the PDA will be synchronized, but there are nominations that have been stored in my Outlook pst file which must be synchronized with the PDA.

  When I reinstalled Palm Desktop, I don't remember being invited to select Synchronize with Outlook instead of Palm desktop.  I had to reinstall software so much with this refresh mobile, I might have forgotten.

  In reviewing other synchronization assignments, I saw the recommendation for conduit PIM synchronization.  I was not able to find it.

  Before upgrading to v4.1.4, I tried to re - install the CD but received a message to the effect that "the installed version is newer than the version on the CD.  The only option was to click on "OK".

  Since my first posting 5/29, I found another announcement with instructions to search for a folder on the CD called 'PostInstall '.  In this folder is an exe file called OutlookSwitcher.exe.  After running this file, I was able to switch to Outlook of Palm Desktop.

  Now, if I can stop the Palm to lock him up.  But that belongs to another forum.  It might be time to replace the pda.
