  The webcam shows usually more colors like black and white only.

  I've had my Dell inspiron 15r 5537 during about 8 months now and noticed that the built-in webcam is black and white and it was fine when I got my laptop.

  I don't know when this problem occurred, but I can't find the drivers on the Dell website for my webcam. I tried to disable and allowing the camera but I have not uninstalled the driver because I'm worried he couldn't work together if I can't find the driver!

  Open Dell Webcam Central. If you do not have Dell Webcam Central installed you can download this file, also known as the Dell Webcam Central Version 1.40.05

  Click settings, and then click on restore by default. If the color button is completely to the left, I noticed that the webcam is black and white.

  This issue could have caused due to not having updated due to hardware or driver related issues. I suggest you try to update the drivers of webcam and check if it helps. • 23 Firefox with JWPlayer shows video in black and white

  Just upgraded to FF 23 Win8 running. Videos using JWPlayer now reproduce in black and white with a vertical bar on the RIGHT side of the green screen.

  YouTube and other videos work fine.

  It is not a problem with the video source that I can upload them and they display properly. It runs only in a page of FF.

• My screen seems to have gone out.  Everything worked well then there black and white vertical lines on the screen.  Had to make a hard stop, bury ashes hold the power button. Now no display

• Photosmart HP 6520 - print in color, not black and white

  I have had this printer for some time and configure options so that it used only the black cartridge unless I put it specifically to do otherwise when I wanted to color.  It worked well and I could switch between black and white and color very easily.  A few weeks ago, the printer started to ignore the options I would set and printed in color.  I double checked the parameters, and the printer is always set up for black and white, but now it completely ignores and still print in color.

  I tried the settings at the time of printing, and that indicates that the image in black and white, it still prints in color.

  I haven't added any software or made any changes to my pc.

  I suggest to download and run the HP print and Scan doctor.  Once you have run the tool successfully, try again the configuration in black and white.
