valid internet connection but can't browse the internet

I have windows vista it on an hp Pavilion dv7 and all of a sudden I can't access the web using firefox ie or google chrome. Using the prompt if I ping google says all he sent all receipts to the address 74.125.227.8 I can ping my router/modem and self.the report in ipconfig/all States my dns server is 24.220.0.11 and 24.220.0.10 in the connections, that it says I am connected to local and internet... I renewed with ipconfig I reset all settings and others in IE removed network adapters and restarted. It reinstalled and still nothing. Ive also used command netsh winsock reset and still nothing. someone has any ideas in addition to the shaped?
