  • Everytime I open my pc, something like "windows geniune advantage" appears. What should do?

    Windows illegal?

A couple of years, I bought this pc computer TIME store return, old beind it ran slow, so I asked one of my friend wheater that he knows sombody who can make it faster, and his answer was Yes that I gave my pc to sort. but when he gave me my pc back the problem was still there and I had another problem. everytime I open my pc, something like "windows geniune advantage" appears. What should do? I have the bill and windows product key.

Maybe they used another product key or Windows XP edition when reinstalling.

Use the tool compares the keys: http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/selfhelp/CompareKeys.aspx?displaylang=en

Check the product key you have if it matches what they used to install the software on your computer.

If they match, validate Windows: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/help/genuine/what-is-validation

If product keys do not match, but the edition currently installed corresponds to your product key (for example, what is installed is Windows XP Professional and your product key is for Windows XP Professional; or the PK that is installed is the publishing house, Home Edition), using the product key update tool : http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=204141

If the edition and the product key do not match, the correct edition must be reinstalled using your product key.

    I hope this helps.

There are two issues here - one is the WAT update borked - the other is the problem of slc.dll.

I don't know if it will work for the first, but it is worth trying.

  • Validation of Windows 7 shows the wrong country

I'm trying to validate my Windows 7 Professional, which was bought by Microsoft between two and three years.  It's in an attractive, light gray, real container plastic with Microsoft clearly embossed on it in the lower right corner.  It's the only OS installed. My computer is a Hp Pavilion Slimline s5-1010 model, OEM.   My non-genuine view is the result of a problem that began with the UAC a few months ago when I tried to download and install Paint.net.  Stupidly, I tried to solve the problem of the installation.  Now, I know that UAC is certainly beyond my skill level.  I never understood what was going on with the UAC.  It makes me feel very safe, even if I'm a big bank or an international company.  I'm the only user at home and not on a network. Nevertheless, I am sure that some bad guys are there to me.  Back to my story: I tried to change the security settings through the properties.  Who expanded all of my problems.  Malware doesn't show any problems.  My security settings are correct.  I've never had security problems.  I ran third-party security programs and nothing was found.  I tried without success to update or re-install my drivers from INTEL.  That did not work.  Apparently, it did not any more damage.

Of the updates, I get an error message that it cannot find the updates.  I tried to update IE_11 with an error message that I already have a newer version of IE installed. I tried to disable it without success.  It does not open.  I tried sfc/scannow; However, the repair does not open.  I ran a restoration that gave an error that Windows 7 could not start, even if Windows has started, otherwise I couldn't have run restore.  Apparently, HAVE mainly has, not much, I.  The later start repair failed.  However, fortunately, Windows 7 opens and works with Firefox. Currently, I would like to reinstall Windows 7 unless I have about 60 programs.  I shudder at the idea of going through UAC facilities with many programs. I have several other problems, such as Windows cannot find taskmgr.  My main problem is that my wife wants me complete this fear she made a pre-emptive strike and devastating against my conjugal happiness.   It is a situation of serious must-finishing.

I have a tip: my product key is correct, see below.  When I try to validate I get an error message that the key is not valid in my country, the United States I lived in the bosom of the Amazon spitting distance, as it was no wider than the Green River.  I can verify this because a friend across the street was personally hired by Melinda Gates, and it was back near the twelfth of never.

    Thank you.

    Hello

I suggest you try the steps from the following link:

Error 0 x 80070005 in Windows Update when you try to install updates
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/968003/en-us

    I hope this helps.

  • Where are the latest versions of downloads every night for mobile (or other non-windows) for firefox location?

First of all, I ask because I noticed an inconsistency between Firefox nightly and releases of chrome. Firefox almost always exceeds chrome in versions of windows, but chrome is always newer with mobile and linux versions. What I'm trying to understand, that is if I'm missing any non-windows releases on the side of Firefox.

I found the latest windows downloads at the following link:
    http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/tinderbox-builds/mozilla-inbound-win32/?C=N;O=D.
These versions see here before they on the platform all catalogue here:
    https://tbpl.Mozilla.org/?tree=Mozilla-inbound
Is this the case for other platforms, and, if so, are there available downloads of the similar time?

It's because you are looking in the Firefox section when it's for desktop versions that the mobile Firefox is in the mobile section.

  • Group residential market, having problems with non-windows devices

I have Windows7 Ultimate on my desktop PC.

I'm Tournai on homegroup and join my laptop running Windows 7 Pro.

I have a printer wireless on my home network, but also a Synology NAS of DS213air for backups.

My laptop has no problem after turning on homegroup.  I was able to continue to send print jobs to the printer network and is still connect to the NAS.

However, on the desktop, print jobs sent to the printer network has failed.  I removed the printer from my devices and tried the card again.  Windows cannot find the network printer by itself, however, I was able to map the printer again in hand - type the IP address directly.

The connection mapped to my NAS in Windows Explorer became too broken.

If I open the DOS command screen and try to ping the NAS server with its network name, I get host not found.  If I ping by its IP address, I get the answer.

I deleted the mapped drive broken to the NAS in Solution Explorer and was able to re - the map again to hardcode NAS IP address.

However, my backup software is losing its connection to SIN at random times, sometimes 3 hours after the start of a backup, other time 12 hours after the start of the backup and transfer 700 + GB to the NAS.  For the past 3 weeks, no backups not completed.

I failed to identify the reason that Win7 Ultimate has ceased to recognize the names of my two non-Windows devices network after you have created the homegroup.

    Any help much appreciated.

I found the problem, thanks to your clues in ipconfig/all.

I thought only I had a direct link between the office and my combo modem/router/AP to access.

I forgot a month before, I took the dust of an old router to share the LAN to my desktop PC, so I might have extra wired LAN for a separate docking station.

I have not reconfigure this 2nd router to act as a switch... that is why the office became a different prefix than intellectual property.  I disabled DHCP on it and moved the cable from the WAN port to one of the LAN ports.

Networking is as it was before.

  • Validation of Windows was interrupted

OK, I reinstalled windows 7 and it activated.

I'm went to download XP Mode and its sate it was not enabled.  I ran the diag tool. It is the output.  Looks like that it activated.

  • Validation in Windows Vista Home Premium at the start: errors and complications.

I was directed to this forum as a last chance for my situation.  I'll copy what I wrote before:

First of all: I can't run Microsoft Genuine Advantage Diagnostic Tool.

With that of the road, I'll try to explain my situation.  Earlier today, I ran in the hope to get rid of some unnecessary files in disk cleanup. Well, he eventually delete most everything out of my C: drive.  So I ran a restoration of the system to an earlier time.  After the restoration, I tried to connect but received a box saying that my Windows Vista Home Premium product key is not valid.  They gave me three options:

Reduced functionality mode (does not work; see below)

    Enter the product key

Contact HP - do you have this: they wanted $ 100.

Now before to get started by offering suggestions, you need to get more information.

I can't use the reduced functionality mode.  When I click on it, an error with file not found window appears.  The only way I can access my desktop is by going into safe mode, and I can't go in safe mode with network.  So based on this little bump in the road, I was not able to use the tips I found online, because none of those working in safe mode.

Now there is more.  Frustrated, I tried to follow guides anyway.  So I followed the following steps:

    Step #3 game

    (1) open Internet browser

    (2) Type%windir%\system32into the browser address bar.

    (3) find the CMD.exe file

    (4) make a right click on CMD.exe and selectrun as administrator

    (5) type: net stop slsvc (it may ask you if you are sure, click Yes)

    (6) type: cd %windir%\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SoftwareLicensing

    (7) type: Rename tokens.dat tokens.bar

    (8) type: cd %windir%\system32

    (9) Typenet start slsvc

    (10) type: cscript slmgr.vbs - FLIR (it may take time for this will be complete, please be patient)

    (11) restart twice

Not only that not solve my problem (since I was in safe mode I was refused permission), but it has created a new problem.  Now when I start my computer normally, IM is more given three options (reduced functionality mode, enter a product key, contact HP).

Instead, when I log on, an error pops up saying: "Insert the Windows CD or installation DVD into your computer to begin the process of resettlement." Now, my computer was shipped with windows and everything installed by the factory with the sticker on the side of the tower.  I have no Dvd or Cd.

I've had this computer for almost 3 years and I can not lose what I have on my computer. I have a genuine copy of Windows.  I have no idea what I'm supposed to do now.

    I used these links:

and many others that I can't find my way.

I am posting this from my laptop not my computer with the problem.

Is it possible that I can fix this?  Can I install Linux or something, just so that I can access my files?  Thank you.

    Hello

Since you are concerned about the data on the drive, I suggest you first backup of data.
