Variable not expandable Container by calling sequence

Hi all

I created a custom variable (of type def in Labview) who is a type of container.  The front panel controls and indicators of my module code for the custom variable.  If I use the variable type custom in my sequence of high level, it seems to work ok.  However, if I use in my void sequences and pass it as a parameter to the next level call sequence, the parameter is not extensible, which means that I can't select individual items for logging, or a reassignment.  Any ideas?  Thanks in advance.

It is not possible in the current version of TestStand.  I really really really really wish that it was...

Kind regards

  • Set the value of the parameter in the call sequence by programming

Is there a way to set the value of the parameters of a call sequence with a vi with the context of the sequence in the order which is called? Cases not the same subseqence with a vi in the mainsequence maybe?

In your VI, I think you should be able to set the value of Step.TS.SData.ActualArgs.paranumber.Expr to the value of the setting that you want. (This property is visible in the Variables pane, only if you have configured the Options of Station to display hidden properties). Note that the purpose of the step should refer to the sequence of your call step.  Also, remember that the property represents an expression, so if you want to pass the value 33, you must enclose the value in quotes ("33").

  • How to define the result of a call sequence of pass/fail

    Hi all

in my application, I have a pass/fail with the adapter of the test sequence. The Source of data for the stage is Step.Result.PassFail.

Is it possible to tell the appellant (the stage of appeal for success/failure sequence) the result within the sequence? I've experimented with the RunState.Caller, but did not find any property that applies to the PassFail result.

    Madottati

This link is not very useful and, in my view, is not the right solution for you.

It makes not sense why you need to change the Step.Result.PassFail inside your sequence.  It is not evaluated until after that sequence is returned to the caller.  So why not just pass back a parameter and and set the Step.Result.PassFail parameter.  I've attached a picture that shows.

However, if it is essential that you change in the subsequence Fail pass then use this expression:

    RunState.Caller.Step.Result.PassFail = here, a Boolean expression

It won't evaluate at time of publishing, but will work during runtime.

The reason why you use Pass/Fail card combination and sequence is to create a modularized test.  Let's say you need to call several code modules in order to obtain pass/fail status.  Think of it as a function or a Subvi.  It just creates a clean, maintainable code.

    Hope this helps,

  • CFinclude and mappings? Images not displayed on the calling page

I can't find it. I have a cfinclude on a page. "The original model has an image inside < a href="/image/pic.gif ">, which does not appear on the calling page. I understand that I need to create a mapping on the server see

She asked a logical path and a directory path. I don't know what to put here; I tried all the variations and the pictures do not always show on the calling page.

Thanks anyway. I found another solution.

For other people, I created an application variable with the full virtual path including the domain name in Application.cfm.
    http://www.domain.com/">

I then use the variable in the img src, which is in the include file:

Now the cfinclude can go in any folder on the server and apply to any page on the server, and the url of the image will not be broken.

Then, it is not back to normal. If the device cannot get a cellular connection, then you have to check with the carrier and to replace the SIM card, because it could have been damaged when the device got wet, or the appliance is damaged to the point that it won't work. If a cell phone cannot make or receive calls, it is far from normal.
