VCOPS deployment plan

Hello world

I'm looking for the vCOPS development plan of technical environment vSphere 5.5 deployment. Please suggest how to deploy? Any help will be much appreciated.

Thank you

vm2014

You can end up taking too much time 3rd-party solutions... in my past most piecemeal you have, the harder that is managing the integration experience. You end up having 3 or 4 different vendors with different media, different ways of access to... the upgrade of questions etc. Keep it in the family

Well, if you take a look at:

    http://Biemond.blogspot.com/2009/04/using-WebLogic-deployment-plan-to.html

(one of the links in the link you get), you will see Edvin Biemond answwer:

"you must change the configuration of module of the Application so that it uses a data source. and in the deployment of applications disable deployment of jdbc connection.

Now you is enough to make the good source of data on each wls and deploy ears. »

The simplest (and probably the best) way is, as I told you, and you are also mentioned: open up JDeveloper and change declaratively and re-download the ears

  • WebLogic deployment plan

    Hello

    I am using weblogic 10.3.6.

In weblogic console, I initially deployed a web application and then update the web application [Select application-> update-> path of deployment Plan] with a deployment plan.

Now if I want to delete the web application deployment plan, I am unable to do so.

Please let me know how to achieve this.

    Thank you

    Praveen

    1. stop the server (s) where the application is deployed.

    2. in the of the subtree of the config.xml remove (comment) element for the app in question.

    3. start the server (s).

It would be useful to say that one must be very careful while editing/modifying the config.xml.

  • Smart View for Essbase unavailable in rapid deployment planning

I managed to deploy EMP 11.1.2.3 by following the steps in the deployment planning guide (http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E40248_01/epm.1112/epm_planning_rapid_deploy/epm_planning_rapid_deploy.html). However, when I do the Smart View by using a URL of shared connections to http://< servername >: 9000/area of work/SmartViewProviders, I only get the connections for the planning and of the declaration and framework. How an I get a connection for Essbase?

It turns out that 11.1.2.3 rapid deployment planning wizard does not install Essbase service provider, just planning service provider and Reporting and analysis of service provider. Until that I installed Essbase service provider, I wasn't yet able to create a private to Essbase connection. I had to run InstallTool.cmd and select "Provider of Services Web Application" in the Essbase selection screen section. I also had to run the configuration utility and select "Deploy to the application server" under "Service provider" in the Essbase selection screen section.

After that, I was able to create a connection in Essbase with this URL: http://: 9000/aps/APS

Even though the private connection was working now, the Essbase connection was still does not like a shared connection in Excel, when I put the Excel Smart View option for shared connections URL http://: 9000/area of work/SmartViewProviders. I could get this job to rerun the configuration utility and selecting "Configure the Web server" in the section "Hyperion Foundation" of the selection screen.

I was also able to create an XML file as Celvin suggested using http://: 9000/aps/APS for connecting to Essbase. Thanks for the suggestion!

  • Deployment of EBF with a human task and task usingAIA Deployment Plan forms

    Hi all

I have a set of composite materials for an invoice interface - File, Req ABC, EBS, ABC Prov. adapter, adapter DB, RESP EBS and an EBF. If my Bill cross due to validation errors, I let the user change the invoice using a human task called from my EBF.

When I deploy the jdeveloper EBF, he deploys the both task form, and they deployed properly. For test and production instances, we use scripts to HELP, and they work very well for all components of the AIA. I'm looking for suggestions on how to deploy the task (ADF) form bound to the human task of a component of the AIA.

    Thanks for the help.

    Concerning
    Anish.

    Anish,
Task forms are not really different from other applications for deployment through a deployment plan for AIA. There are examples available for own FP deployment plan, for example like this:

    filelocation="${AIA_HOME}/infrastructure/install/applications/ActorNotNull_FYINull.ear".
    WlServer = "fp" failonerror = "false" action = "deploy" / >

So these task forms can simply be deployed like any other ear, you just call explicitly the deployment plan.

  • Location of the FBE Composite.xml to allow creating the deployment plan

I created a BOM that contains several components of EBF. However when I run the generation of deployment plan, it fails with the following text:

[java] EBS composites should be under $AIA_HOME/pips / < projectCode > and ABC and AdapterServices should be under $AIA_HOME/services.
[java] oracle.apps.aia.core.deploy.CompositeNotFoundException: Composite: CeaseIRStudentLoadCustomerPartyEnrolmentEBF not found.
[java] EBS composites should be under $AIA_HOME/pips / < projectCode > and ABC and AdapterServices should be under $AIA_HOME/services.

I tried placing the composite under two places but still not the same error. Is there somewhere else required for EBF in 11.1.1.4 or is there a problem with my annotations?

    Hi André,.
Can you try again after you have moved the composite directory to $AIA_HOME/glitches /?
Also, please check if the composite project directory name is: CeaseIRStudentLoadCustomerPartyEnrolmentEBF?

  • Location of Composites of the EBS and the deployment Plan generator

    Hi all
I have a question of high level on the AIA.
I understand that a PIP (process integration Pack) is an integration of end to end into the information system from one end to the other. If the names of a pip could be:
SAP for integration of Ebiz invoice
    Ebiz integration Portal invoice
    Etc.
I also understand that a BSE (Business Enterprise) is a reusable service that can be invoked by a number of different applicants. For example, InvoiceEBS, etc.
My understanding is that an EBS can be part of many glitches.

I worked through the update and I got to the point of using the deployment Plan generator to generate a deployment plan. When you run it I came across this message:
    [java] EBS composites should be under $AIA_HOME/pips / < projectCode > or $AIA_HOME/pips / < projectIndustry > / < projectCode > for the seeds of the industry.
[java] The CBA and the AdapterServices must be under $AIA_HOME/services.

That said, it is expected that the composite EBS under the directory of a PIP in particular. This means that if SAP_to_Ebiz_Invoice_Int and Portal_to_Ebiz_Invoice_Int use the same EBS then composite EBS must be duplicated in the two directories. This is clearly wrong that we would have to keep several copies. (This has implications for maintenance, Version control, etc.)

It is not sensible, so there must be an error in my logic. Does anyone know where I have gone wrong?
Oracle expects that in a few years when we need to make an update to BSE or other objects in the PIP as go us back and use the same project in PLW or should we create a new project in PLW and add all objects?

    Thank you
    Robert

    Robert,
I checked with the genius of the FP and it comes to new behaviors introduced with 11.1.1.4 that I wasn't aware of the institutions. I have recorded a request for internal improvement because I think that it is not ideal for the clients of the FP.

It seems it must be under $AIA_HOME/pips /, where is the code that you have entered in the PLW and you would also find in the BOM.xml. Have you tried both?

Just to make sure that I understood: the error means only that RFP generator cannot find the composite and, therefore, can not assing a path to the composite in the DP and you will need to add that manually. Or is the generation of DP even stop alltogether?

  • AIA FP 11.1.1.3 - generation Deployment Plan for migration Dev test

    Hi all

Can you post what follows the point of view of Test deployment of Dev. We have almost completed the development of an interface using AIA 11 g and are moving from one instnace to another interface, and any help is appreciated.

Let us take purchase order integration between a legacy application and the purchase of the Oracle File adapter-> ABC-> EBS applicant-> supplier ABC-> DB adapter, which is a classic flow.

    1. the functional person defines a project in the Workbench of Life Cycle of the project
    2. functional decomposition made through business purchase stopped and components of the Service Solution task for each composite in the classical stream
    3. the ABCSs are created by linking the components of Solution of the corresponding Service of the FI using the constructor function. These composite.xmls will have the annotation filled by the manufacturer of the Service. It is normal that these composites have concrete wsdls during the development phase, but the concreate those need to be replaced to abstract before plans geenrating of deployment.
    4. the EBS is not changed, it will be pre-filled annotations and there is no need to add any annoations their
    5. the File adapter and adapters (adapters Transport?) DB must be annotated based on the developer's guide
    6. the XSD and wsdl go in the mds based using the provided scripts. All other common components can also be placed in MDS.
    7. Once done development, harvest composites using the Harvester of the AIA.
    8. after the harvest, the AIA LCW, generate the BOM. If we harvest all the composite 5 for the task together and do generate BOM, it captures all composites? Or they capture only the composite created with the constructor for Service? Or add the compistes manually to the task of company?
    9. add content harvested by changing the Nomenclature-> option "search and add existing composites. We could not find the option "Add harvested Composite" everything right by clicking on the business task.
    10. once all composites harvested have been added to the BOM, export in XML format
11 using the Nomenclature, generate the DeploymentPlan. The deployment plan will be references to the WSDL and XSD files in MDS
12 using the deployment Plan and assistance, deploy the composite in a new instanec.

These are the questions I have,
    1 as above is correct?
    2. given that the MDS is in database Dev, a sine qua non to AID seems to be the deployment of xsd and WSDL in the Test MDS schema. Can you please post?
    3. what happens to the XSL files, bpels, mplans etc? How they move from one instance to another?

    Kind regards
    Anish

    Hi Anish,

Yes, you need to ftp the project on the server where you could carry out the plan of deployment and the compositedir.

should point to this ftped directory.

  • With the help of deployment plan to change the virtual directory mapping

  • Question of deployment plan

I have the following code in my Spring applicationContext.xml-

    <! - WebLogic JNDI - >
    < bean id = "dataSource".
    Class = "org.springframework.JNDI.JndiObjectFactoryBean" > "
    < property name = "jndiName".
    value = "cyncssit" / >
    < / bean >

I would like to change the jndi data source name based on the environment in which the application is deployed. I understand that the weblogic deployment plan can override only properties in the weblogic-specific deployment descriptors and not properties applicaton.xml, web.xml or spring config files. I was wondering if there is a way to specify the name of the data source's jndi in weblogic application. XML or weblogic.xml and ask of this name in my spring config file? Bottom line is I need to substitute the name of source data during deployment. Any solution would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!

Yes, you are right. Plan cannot be used for this purpose... because it can be used only to change the Standard J2EE/WebLogic deployment descriptors.

    WORKAROUND

This solution requires changes in your application... Then you can love him not.
But as an Alternative option, you can do the following:
To learn more about "virtual directories -" Please see: http://jaysensharma.wordpress.com/2010/03/29/virtual-directory-mapping-in-webapps/

    (Step 1).

Inside your app * "WEB-INF/weblogic.xml" * configure a virtual directory mapping in your "weblogic.xml" as follows:

             C:\DELETE\Spring_JNDI_Demo
             *. XML

    (Step 2).

"Now, put your *"applicationContext.xml"* inside * ' C:\DELETE\Spring_JNDI_Demo"* directory... so that when you want you can change... (JNDIName).

    (Step 3).

inside of your * "WEB-INF/web.xml" * provide the mapping of the context-param as below:

    SpringOne

    contextConfigLocation
    applicationContext.xml

    SpringContextServlet
    org.springframework.web.context.ContextLoaderServlet
    1

    (Step 4).

Now deploy your Application... .and then later when you want to change the JNDI name... "You want to edit *"applicationContext.xml"* inside * ' C:\DELETE\Spring_JNDI_Demo"*, then redeploy the Application

    .
    .

After work sample is attached... Here: http://www.4shared.com/file/ewFN1ODj/Spring_JNDI_Demo.html you can try. The sample Application is tested in WLS10.3

  • vCOPS menu Planning

    Hi all

I have several problems to interpret data in the Summary view, under the menu item planning. I tried to see online help and documentation, but I don't understand the How to interpret the values.

Someone would be so good regarding explain How do I (" " "" read "the () perhaps start by a screenshot).

I want to take full advantage of this tool from understand the "suggestions' who vCOPS me

    Thanks to you all!

    Matrix

Matrix, here are the right questions.

The first question is: Watch deployed the VM and the host which will be published in the period expected estimated (in the example, the next project = 39 VMs told me that next year I will have created a different VMs 39?)

-That's right, this is a forecast based on the amount of VM growth, analyze the ability was observed for your environment.  It is only a forecast, of course, you have a one-time project which adds 20 VMs in addition to your usual growth.  But understand the growth of your 'business as usual' help because who is generally not accounted for in planning, in my experience.

Other reviews said, however, how VM and host I add estimates of vCOPS before it reaches the limit? In the example, then I read the year next salt = 3.5 HOSTS vCOPS tells me that I can add 3.5 hosts more than another before reaching my limit?

-Other shows you capacity remaining in the CURRENT footprint, based on an average VM in your environment.  So, it shows you how many virtual machines, you can add, but the host information are the remaining capacity for these medium-sized virtual machines.  He's not telling you how much welcomes you can add, only how many virtual machines can be supported and that the effective capacity is based on the trend of deployment.  Thinking than that, not only is it good to know how many virtual machines, I can add, but it is also good to know what capacity I have things like HA or a maintenance window.

Last question on this Panel: as soon as you start the tool (quarter), next year, I will then add 4.3 4 + 3.5 host without any problem?

-Even once, the tool thinks not on how many guests to add to this point of view.  It is to say that if you do not add any hosts, then based on your tendency to VM deployment and the average VM, you 4.3, then 4 and then 3.5 host remaining capacity.

If you want to understand the impact of adding a host, or VMs than elsewhere, this is where you can use the 'What-If Scenario'.

Thank you and sorry for all these questions.

As I said, this is the right questions so no worries!
