Vector graphics, pixelation and puppet pins

See the pictures below, look at the feet!

Whenever I use the continuously rasterized option I still have problems. Maybe it's my workflow, but I you will often find that the layers appear to jump around, be broken almost as digital break on a TV or get cracks and lines at random. My problem at the moment is random lines.

I have three compositions, a main and two pre comps. The first precomp contains 1 vector layer with rasterized switch game. The model of pre holding this model was then the rasterized spend together as a switch fx as Im using tools on the first duIK precomped layer. This layer/second precomp has a puppet PIN if it makes a difference to anyone. In this second precomp, I can see weird lines on my form, which are identical to the form, almost as if the 1st precomp is showing through for some reason any as an outline transparent 1pt?

I can move the shape, and this strange contour remains in the same place but slices through my form that I pass, so in theory I can move my form across the composition and I have no problem... but it does not really solve the problem. My biggest final comp containing two comps above also has the same problem as the 2nd computer... but it's structure, I need so I had to test it.

Currently my diapers are all 2d, but I can make them 3d later and meet more jumpy rasterising weird questions... When I change the rasterized or fx switches lines will go, but I need the rasterized option (although now I can not even tell if it's effective, but I also need the fx which holds my original puppet corner for duIK right tools)

What I am doing wrong? Help, please!

Photo 1 and 2, bot moved to the visible contours on feet, photo 3 has been moved far enough away from the original position of precomps shows so no lines. These come out on a record.

Really, you cannot use the function of rasterize continuously with the puppet tool at the same time. This is explained in the puppet tool page in help. (And, if I remember correctly, it can suggest workaround).

In anyway, if you do a precomp which includes the work and use the puppet pin on the precomp WITHOUT using the continuously rasterize button above, it should work fine. So, if you need it is larger, make more great before apply you the pins of the puppet.

  • Vector graphics are pixelated? :[

    Zoom on a vector image in CS4 shows FAT pixels around the image (a shape drawn using the pen tool).

    I thought that vector images are not composed of pixels? Or I do something wrong?

    Thank you!

    Vector graphics are pixelated to resolution of the document in PS. They can or will export as vector elements, but they will still listen to samples, and if you save in any format of raster doc, they will export as pixels.

  • Speed and vector graphics?

    Is it just me or not vector graphics take time to design? I am designing a cartoon vector graphic and it's a lot of time.

    If you are new to Illustrator EVERYTHING will seem slow. Familiarity and repetition will speed up the process. Here are a few suggestions:

    1. Start with a pencil, to develop ideas before working digitally.
    2. Analyze in a 'model', which work effectively toward your goal.
    3. Learn and use keyboard shortcuts to work more efficiently.
    4. Use the right tool for the job. Illustrator offers many tools. Knowing that you use can take some trial and error.
    5. If you have not already the case, consider investing in a digitizing tablet.
  • Flash canvas Hack: the best vector graphics on the retina and HD

    Tired of the fuzzy vector graphics on retina of Apple and another HD displays when you create HTML5 stuff in FlashCC?

    Place this code in the first frame of your code/timeline:

    if (window.devicePixelRatio > 1) {

        var canvasWidth = canvas.width;
        var canvasHeight = canvas.height;

        canvas.width = canvasWidth * window.devicePixelRatio;
        canvas.height = canvasHeight * window.devicePixelRatio;
        canvas.style.width = canvasWidth+"px";
        canvas.style.height = canvasHeight+"px";

        //console.log(window.devicePixelRatio);
         stage.scaleX=stage.scaleY=window.devicePixelRatio;
    }

    .. .and that's it! Vector smooth on the retina.

    Hi Marcel,.

    The file you are publishing uses a custom template which is obsolete. It lacks some of the chips, which were introduced in CC Animate 2015.2.1, including that necessary to display the newly added HiDPI.

    To get the latest model settings, Goto, publish > Advanced tab and click on 'Default' and now to test the animation.

    You may need to add additional code (for example script above files) from the old model to the new model.

  • With the help of vector graphics with fxml and JavaFX

    HY

    I wonder about the use of vector graphics scalable, svg, files in my project JFX.
    I know how to display the png with an imageview images and who can handle via CSS style (like fx-background-image)
    But for now, I want to add a vector graphic to my scene.
    I'm not shure if I use .ai, .svg or other file formats and how to load that.

    I read on SVGGraph but failed to get the idea behind it
    (and think that's not for files)

    So please can someone tell me how single charge and show a graphic vector and formaterait which should take?

    Ah: A way to make this replaceable graph via CSS style would be nice too ;)

    Thank you

    BR

    This .fx file is probably the old 1.x JavaFX, which is no longer supported for JavaFX 2.x and to my knowledge there is also no converter for this.

  • Freezing and bizarre graphic "pixelation".

    Hello

    One of my colleagues is having a problem with her 2011 (Yosemite) iMac (black boxes pictured are for his privacy).

    The only recent change was an update of Pages etc. After 2-3 minutes, the computer gets this weird pixelation and then freezes. It starts in recovery and ran disk and fix permissions, but it happened again. Also the rest of the NVRAM and SMC. I expect him

    Unless someone knows what's going on, I'll probably start again in recovery, leave it for 30 minutes and see if it happens it say too much. If not, tell him to reinstall the operating system and restore since its last backup.

    This gives all the signs of a GPU failure. See if he qualifies for iMac (27-inch): AMD Radeon 6970 M video card replacement - Apple Support program, chances are, though, it's worth a try.

  • HP 8600 pro: vector graphics HP - GL2 on HP 8600

    How does the HP 8600 of vector graphics?  I understand well, it does not support the HP - GL2, while in

    graphical language should we support and where can I get the manual programming for her?

    Thanks for your help,

    Homer W. Smith

    (Personal information by moderator)

    The specification (see http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-Officejet-Pro-8600-Plus-e-All-in-One-Printer-series---N911/4322915/model/4323647/document/c02858465/ ) the series OfficeJet Pro 8600 printers indicates that the only supported Language of Description of Page is HP PCL 3 enhanced.

    I think that PCL 3 enhanced (and other PCL3- based PDLas PCL3GUIs) are mainly based on the pixelation, in that each page is made up one (or more) encapsulated, images compressed raster; compression can use methods.

    that is, it does not support no matter what vector image constructions at all.

    The language supports a (very) small number of PCL escape sequences to provide the encapsulation of raster and initialization of the device.

    I don't think that HP publishes one or other of these s PDLused by inkjet printers.

  • Working with vector graphics

    I have a student who created graphs of pixel based in another software.  Since they are not vector graphics, they can be enlarged.  Is it possible to open in elements and convert them to vector graphics?

    If he starts to design elements, which is a maximum file size for creating new models?  If they are vector graphics, does it matter what size they start as?  It will get better enlargements if they start over wholesale to start?

    Which format should one of the uses in saving vector graphics, so that they remain vectors and do not become based pixel?

    Tutorials or articles that you can send me would be appreciated.

    Mary Lou

    I guess that it is not possible to convert pixel into a vector graphics in the elements. Although you can create vector graphics in elements using shape tool. The optimal size of your file will depend on where you want to use the image. The graphic vector will be preserved if you save the image in PSD or TIFF format.

  • vector graphics: fuzzy in preview, accurate in the final rendering?

    Hi all

    I was hitting my head for awhile on my fuzzy vector graphics problem - vectors imported in AE since Illustrator, which include text, text describes, clipping, masks, etc.. I had checked and checked my "continuously rasterize ', my"condense transformations", even went to adjust anti-aliasing for best quality: no help

    Well, I had a breakthrough today: when I do a final, my fuzzy vector graphics becomes clear.  Huh?  Well, very well!  But now my question is: am I stuck fuzzy vectors edition?  That seems like an odd limitation.

    a little more information on what I'm doing: I'm animating between pieces of text which are of different sizes, some text is solid, some contours, some with fillings created with clipping masks - and I did a little experiment with taking on masks, etc., because I learned that certain Illustrator effects out properly and cause an immediate pixelation in AE - but that didn't seem to do much for my preview quality. I have configured my illustrator file with the preset of film/video, so I have 2 work plans - and I let the text bigger spill over into this larger arboard.  I save as illustrator CS5, compatible PDF file and bring AE as a composition w / "keep the sizes of layer".

    any thoughts? is it just the nature of the beast? Maybe I'll put up my illustrator bad file?

    Thank you

    the love of my life

    You could see artifacts due to the Correction of the Pixel format if you use non square BY in your comp (s). In your preferences, check to see if you have the Zoom quality setting designated for "more precise".

    If this is not the case, then, as you noted, you probably have an effect enabled in Illustrator on one or more of your layers/objects which causes aliasing.

  • value of the pixel and alpha chart data

    I need to plot a graph with pixel sizes and different alpha values.  The requirement forces me to change the size of the prior pixel and change the alpha value before drawing a line.  I don't know where to start with this, I don't see anything that will allow me to change the size in pixels or make a change alpha.  Can someone recommend an approach to this.

    Thank you

    You code a moped or a RIM application?

    If the RIM, you can set the alpha using Graphics.setGlobalAlpha)

    You cannot change a pixel size - it is what it is.

  • Copyright on vector graphic basis?

    So, Ive seen a few vector images that I liked (a shopping mall and the person) in a commercial hosted on youtube for some company. Now if I'm going to create similar charts in Adobe Illustrator to use in my promo / ad video for one of my products and maybe use some of the movements of objects and of the camera in this ad I saw, would it be a question about copyright? In other words: I created all of my vector graphics from absolute zero in Illustrator and all animated by myself in after affects, but they are similar to this announcement (I was inspired by this announcement lets say)

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Vector graphics do not have their own rules of copyright.  Anyone who knows the laws regarding rights of use will be able to help you regardless of the file type.

  • Items or lots of vector graphics

    Hi, can someone tell me if the PSE 14 can run as adding a watermark to a quantity of images in batches? In addition, the PES 14 can be used to create vector graphics? I have used a product Corel PaintShop and was planning to move to the PSE 14. I need more information before that I can make a decision in favor of PES. Possible warnings, experience, advice or help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    No, elements is limited in its treatment features batch and even more in the vector edition. You need the full Photoshop CC.

    You can add 'batch' utilities using the scripts on the module elements + affordable features.

  • Programmatically create the puppet pin

    Hi all

    I would like to ask whether it is possible create programmatically puppet pins...

    I tried to copy the structure of water courses ("ADBE FreePin3", "ADBE FreePin3 Mesh", 'ADBE FreePin3 PosPin Position',...) pins created manually with

    corresponding values, but when I create, broadcast this way they are disabled (AEGP_DynStreamFlag_DISABLED - and greyed in the user interface).

    I assume that the Summit "index ADBE FreePin3 PosPin Vtx" is just an index in the table stored internally in the form of arbitrary data so that the mesh and the PIN must be created somehow before you set these values.

    I found this thread where they try to do the same thing using scripts (also unsuccessfully)Create of corner puppet on a mesh existing via script

    I have some ideas on how this could be done using the SDK, but all involve them diving into the dark waters...

    -call the method EffectSuite::AEGP_EffectCallGeneric with mouse fake click events (PF_Cmd_EVENT) or some directly if the effect of FreePin supports PF_Cmd_COMPLETELY_GENERAL orders

    -use 'FreePin Suite' - which is not a part of the public SDK but can be acquired using AquireSuite... - but as it is not public, I guess it works with a memory that's not so sure touch even if I managed to get/create file header appropriate for this suite

    Perhaps there is a simple and elegant to create those pins that I completely forgot, then I'd be really grateful for any suggestions

    Thank you very much!

    Martin

    Here, I just find a workaround...

    Step 1: save an animation preset with a puppet effect applied (with desired number of pine trees - but it does not matter where you place the pins)

    step 2: apply this preset to a layer (using AEGP_ExecuteScript ("app.project.item (index) .layer (index) .applyPreset (presetName) ;")) - which will add the puppet with pins effect

    step 3: change the flow of existing pine vertex offset values by using stream suite

    step 4: reset (Pines which will reload the State internal - will jump to the right place)

    step 5: change position of vertex streams using the suite of flow

    So all you need is a set of files .ffx with a different number of pins puppet used - because they cannot be added programmatically - but it is possible to modify existing ones...

    Thanks a lot for your support!

    See you soon,.
