Verification of the users belonging to the Group spasfic weblogic server
I built a simple service application web with jdeveloper 11.1.1.7 strategy (Wssp1.2 - 2007-Https-UsernameToken - Plain.xml) and deploy the weblogic 10.3. Everything works very well in both the client side and server.
The client side is unable to call any method without specifying the username and password properties. The server automatically checks the user in users values define in weblogic server in the following path (summary of the areas of security > myrealm > users and groups). Hereby, the customer can access the system if he takes one of the users in this group even with the default user weblogic/weblogic.
Question: How to limit the name to username/password check with specific usergroup?. That is, if the client mentions the name of user and password outside of the Group (even if the values are correct) the server rejects the request
Problem, solved by (user name: Roque)
in this link: java - verification of users within the spasfic group of weblogic server for the web service application - Stack Overflow
Here is his answer for your reference:
If you use the 'default' weblogic for users authentication method, you can follow these steps to set up an access group policy:
- Connect to the weblogic administration console
- Click on the links of deployments
- Select your webservice
- Click the Security tab
- Click the sub-tab political
- Choose your authorization provider in the menu drop-down (looks like by default)
- Choose Add Conditions-> Group-> Type in the name of the Group
- Finishing
Now that the group you added should be able to invoke the web service. All other users should see something like:
javax.xml.ws.soap.SOAPFaultException: Access denied to operation myWebService

How to reset the password for the built-in Weblogic Server
Hello
11.1.1.3 Jdev
I remember not to give a password when I installed Jdev 11.1.1.3. Now I want to access the weblogic console to create a data source and configure SQLAuthenticator.
How can I reset the password? Or y at - it a default password that I can try?
I tried to delete the DefaultDomain to the system folder and tried to run the application. But it does not request a password also
Am I missing something basic?
See you soon

Thanks Matt.
Deletion of system folder and trying to connect does not ask for password.
I got the answer from the link:

SID and the name of the Service on Weblogic Server
Dear,
My question is related to the Data Source, when I create a new source of data weblogic server version 10.3.6.0, I have the name of the database as SID not Service name.
When I put the name of the database in the SID of the error below will appear:
Test failed: listener refused the connection with the following error:
ORA-12505, TNS:listener is not currently of SID given in connect descriptor
My question is weblogic server version 10.3.6.0 take the name of the database as SID? or there is a way to use the database SID weblogic server version 10.3.6.0 user?
Now I test the name of database on Jdeveloper Version 11.1.1.4.0 and create the new connection to database as below:
1 - when I choose the SID, the error above is
2. when I choose the name of Service everything works correctly.
Now I need put the user weblogic server version 10.3.6.0 as SID to be pass and continue working on my project.
Thank you$ oerr ora 12505 12505, 00000, "TNS:listener does not currently know of SID given in connect descriptor" // *Cause: The listener received a request to establish a connection to a // database or other service. The connect descriptor received by the listener // specified a SID for an instance (usually a database instance) that either // has not yet dynamically registered with the listener or has not been // statically configured for the listener. This may be a temporary condition // such as after the listener has started, but before the database instance // has registered with the listener. // *Action: // - Wait a moment and try to connect a second time. // - Check which instances are currently known by the listener by executing: // lsnrctl services
// - Check that the SID parameter in the connect descriptor specifies // an instance known by the listener. // - Check for an event in the listener.log file. $ Thank you for posting the connection string you use and, since the database server, the result of "lsnrctl services."

Python script to search for users who belong to a group of weblogic
Hello
We know
Python script to search for users who belong to a particular group in weblogic
That's what I showed you already. You just need to add the function connect() and disconnect() around it and evaluate the slider that went back.
If you don't want to learn how to write your own script and that you just want to use an existing one, try this one Weblogic Scripting Tool 101: WLST list users, groups, and users in groups

Administration server and the servers managed (WebLogic Server).
Hello
What are Server Administration and managed servers , I saw these words as I read the installation guide for WebLogic server,
but I don't know what they are?
I saw them while I was reading on the Node manager that allows me to start the above mentioned.
-J' installs the WebLogic to develop applications with oracle reports and forms services.
1 - do I need a node Manager, Administration Server or managed servers?
2. is the Manager nodes, Server Administration or servers managed as EnterPrise data control manager ?
Thank you very much
Answers to most of your questions WLS lie in WLS documentation:
http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E23943_01/Web.1111/e13752/TOC.htm
However, a simple answer to your questions could be summed up as follows.
If you are familiar with older versions of application server version 10, which include OC4J as its Java container, as a managed WLS server is basically the same thing. In the context of WLS, a managed server is responsible for hosting java applications on the server side. For example, Oracle Forms Servlet. The WLS management server is actually a java application deployed on a managed server. So, really, the "Admin" server is a kind of "Managed Server". In a typical installation of forms/States, you will find that at least three 3 managed servers are created automatically for you:
- Server Admin
- WLS_FORMS
- WLS_REPORTS
Node Manager is a separate process that is used to allow the two directors of the WLS environment such as command line allowing the administrator of the server to communicate with other servers managed, local or remote.
http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E25178_01/Web.1111/e13740/overview.htm
Then, for simply "run" apply (forms, for example), all you need is the managed server that hosts the forms Servlet. However, if you want to change the configuration via a web interface, you must also run the administration server (and Node Manager).
All these components are much more complex than what I've described here. I would recommend to consider the documentation if you are interested in learning about them. That said, the best way to really learn about them likely will be to install the product and start using it.

How do I know the admin for weblogic server port
I have Oracle Weblogic server installed on my Windows 7 machine. I want to know if the server is running and which is the port of admin for him. Can someone guide me?
the default is 7001. If the weblogic administration console is accessible by http://localhost:7001 / console
If weblogic is installed you will have weblogic home i.e. middleware... you can check that... These are all default values and can change according to the approx... but usually these things by default.

With regard to Apex configuring the listener using Weblogic Server.
Dear all,
Well, I have configured my interlocutor Apex in my Web server and everything worked fine. But my requirement is like I need for my URL should like this format http://hostname/ReportServer: port/dev/apex but by default, as we know it comes as http://hostname/ReportServer: port/apex/dev (as I gave the url mapping path/dev). So I tried by changing its name as DEV while deploying the APEX. File. WAR and I gave the root context than dev. Now question is even if configuration directory given i like "dev" but still its showing as 'Listener not configured'. Pls someone help me in this. Help is very appreciated.
My configuration file is "/home/oracle/apex_listener.2.0.3.221.10.13/dev"
But even once apex named subdirectory is created inside this dev automatically.
In regards to this link, I had an idea but its incomplete since his unanswered, so I'm bit confused too.
https://community.Oracle.com/thread/2134379
I thought to change httpd.conf file and give redirect URL but I'm not sure that can we redirect modulewise as separate 'apex' named subdirectory is created in "dev" then configuration gets effect as how it will work and mod_rewrite option I have seen but can't understand as including one to pick up. Please suggest...
My Version of the apex is 4.2.3
Apex listener Version is 2.0.3
As appropriate, any other information please ask me.
Kind regards
Nitesh Perron.
Dear all,
Finally I found the solution for this. I put here so that it can be useful to others who may face difficulties like me,.
Floorconstruction:
After changing the root of context just start your deployed war file and test it.
While reaching the URL,
Web page showing "listener apex not configured" and it will show you the location of the configuration on the Web page itself.
Then you simply copy all directories and subdirectories (that were created when you set up your database using the file. War) at the location that shown on the Web page.
As we change the root context so a named directory context root allows to create inside the path configured, if web is unable to find configurations because it happens inside the different directory so just copy everything and try. It worked for me very smoothly.
My position was ' /home/oracle/apex_listener.2.0.3.221.10.13/apex"(before changing the context root in weblogic server).
Then after the change and start the deployment once again, it became ' /home/oracle/apex_listener.2.0.3.221.10.13/dev', since I gave my root of context like "dev."
So here I just copied directory "apex" on the dev directory and it worked fine and I got my desired URL as http://localhost:port/dev/apexhttp://localhostport .
And all applications also works very well.
Still, I felt its not correct way to view security, but this is the solution I found and I will try apache to redirect my URL.
Thank you
Kind regards
Nitesh Perron.

Y at - it no problem when changing the OC4J to WEBLOGIC Server
Hello
We need to develop a product in Jedeveloper 11 g. In development mode, used as application WEBLOGIC 10.3 Server. But during the mode of production, we must apply the EAR oc4J APPLICATION Server files.
While changing this, I know my system work as such in the WEBLOGIC Server?
If I have loss any specific fuctionalities Rich Ajax? Is everything working in development is necessary?
Everything in Google search, I found, in JDeveloper 11 g oracle prefer WEBLOGIC instead of OC4j. Can someone tell the reason for it.
Thank you
Thierry.Thierry,
OC4J is a java container in the OAS.
The link you provided States exactly the same thing as I have indicated above, namely that the ADF applications would not be supported on OAS/OC4J.

Configure ports on Nexus 5000/2000 for the grouping of network server adapters
Hello
I have two Nexus 5000 and Nexus two, 2000. The 5000 s are peers of vpc. I would like to connect my server with cluster NIC in a port on each 2000 and all have both be active. Is this possible? What are the steps? I thought it should be this:
CPR_NEXUS_5K01 (config) # int eth100/1/32
CPR_NEXUS_5K01(Config-if) # channel - group 32
CPR_NEXUS_5K01 (config) # int eth101/1/32
CPR_NEXUS_5K01(Config-if) # channel - group 32
on the Nexus two.
Thank you, Jerry

user deleted automatically when you start weblogic Server
Hello
I created a user in weblogic by following the steps below: 1. clicked on realams of this security on the left side. 2. click on myrealam 3. Click users and groups of 4. clicked new 5. Password and username provided
The user is created successfully. However when I start the server by deleting the Journal folder, cache, tmp and data. The user created is automatically deleted.
Since my first level analysis I found its due to the removal of the file data. I want to create a permanent user for the security validation.
Can someone please help me create a permanent user.
Concerning
Yoan Kar
I think that, theoretically speaking, that we could this by workaround:
- Creation of the user required/s
- Export the configuration to a file (in the realms of security > my Kingdom > providers > Default authenticator > Migration > Export)
- Import this file into the default authenticator
I have not tried the whole scenario again (I am short on time currently), but I guess it should work, so it's worth a shot.
I'll give it a try when I have enough time...
Kind regards
White
