Veriton WES7 rather need to start DeTOS

Veriton WES7 rather need to start DeTOS

Hello

Veriton WES7 Grub boot loader boots WES7, but how do I boot DeTOS?  I can see the DeTOS folder and exe.  I hold the ESC key at startup and the grub boot loader comes with options for WES7, Edit, Update or command prompt.  Help, please!

Thanks in advance,

Green peas (Beginner)

Update:

Last image WES7 does not seem to include DeTOS Control Panel.  Reflash utility now supports the great DOM (flash drives), and then I'll now be able to add office and creative suite.

I need to start using the color correction. Should I start by Lumetri, or go directly to SpeedGrade and save time?

Lumetri Panel/workspace in PrPro is designed as a quick Fixer & able to mainly simple elements you may need to. And it has some limitations so built-in types experienced low editor/colorist can't screw up at all times of their videos. If this tool has everything you need, so it is very convenient. You do not need to learn a lot of ranking 'thought process', just look at your scopes & your program monitor.

If, however, you'll need to tell secondaries 'Key' on some shades at certain levels of brightness/saturation to change just THE color, hue, brightness, saturation data, or a number of other things more important to the image, then SpeedGrade would be necessary. For me, I use the Lumetri Panel on the simple things, but... as Jim pointed out, if I want to hit secondary or make major changes, I'm more the Sg. Because after I learned that the app rather... unique... minimalist... UI, I'm actually able to move quicker on things over there than in the Lumetri Panel.

SpeedGrade is not the same as applications other colorist/ranking, didn't say the vast-toolset of determination... but link Direct saves a TON to prepare sequences & projects on XML/EDL out and return & tel. If you go to work with her, I suggest strongly to e-book by Alexis Van Hurkman "Adobe SpeedGrade."... Getting started» It is still CS6... BUT... It covers quickly and directly how SpeedGrade works and how to do things you want to do, better than anything else I've seen. The big change is in the CC versions using the Direct link that you don't have any EDL input/output, and as all the scenario changes you make through PrPro, both the chronology controllling/replacement parts of Sg is grayed out in a project of direct link (directly using a project file PrPro). The interface... different color... is almost identical to the versions CS6.

In addition, there are some good programs on service tutorial lynda-dot-com, and some that are quite useful on SpeedGrade in AdobeTV that will give you the look more recent Sg and Di-link process. Maybe you spend a few hours in watching & playing around, but once you get this thing is pretty easy to use.

I do not recommend having a ramp... a block of neutral gray tones will generally from left to right black (0) to white (100) that you can put on a timeline, see to the Sg, and then look at what is happening where when you change what... so that you get a feel for say overall "initial" three color wheels/luma sliders , which left elevator control, controls gain way Gamma and right hand do... and you need to see that the elevator is * not * the shadows... and then, when you change moves on the shadows, mediums and highlights and always looking three combos of luma/color controls, now what region they change? What control on how these controls affect the image data pivot controls provide?

It sounds more complicated than it needs to use, really... you just can't guess what they are doing and being puzzled at the first/frustrated when things do not respond as you expect. A few graphics and several simple explanations & examples... and you'll be off and running.

  • Satellite needs more start the Windows

    Hello, I need help!

The problem is that after installing the software, it will ask you to restart. After restarting the screen indicates "Toshiba Leading Innovation >", circle of spinning and is presented, "troubleshooting." This has happened throughout the night and the morning I turned on the recovery of the PC.

After that, everything has been restored, but no game and no PO. What is the problem is the laptop is now slower and requires more start-up, and when you turn on the laptop it freezes the screen accounts for a few seconds.

    Help please!

Can you please share some info with us?
What model of laptop you have exactly and what software or system you have installed?

    > After that, everything was restored, but without game and PO.
I put t understand what that mean in. can you explain a little more?

    > What is the problem is the laptop is now slower and needs to start, and when you turn on the laptop it freezes the screen accounts for a few seconds.

Hmm, as mentioned above; I put t know what system you're using now, but for example: Windows 8 starts much faster then Win 7. So if you have changed the Win 7, you have to accept this very short period of time.

What you need to do is to proceed to a repair facility.

  • all programs are needed to start?

all programs are needed to start?

    Apparently not.

I have zero startup items and my system works fine.  That may not work for everyone, but it's the way I like to run - lean and mean hoping for infections of malware if I can keep on my toes on the way to correct
I don't know that anyone could tell you what startup programs, you need or those who you don't need without more information on the issue, trying to solve... or are - this just curiosity.
Where do you see these startup items, that you remember to turn off and what are they?
If you want to help looking at your startup items, I would like to start here:
Since the Microsoft Answers forum does not have any kind of information system request when a new question is asked, we know absolutely nothing about your system.  Not knowing the basic information a problem prolongs the frustration and the agony of these issues.
Thank you MS Answers, allowing the resolution of simple problems as frustrating and a lot of time as possible.
Provide information on your system, the better you can:
What is your system brand and model?
What is your Version of XP and the Service Pack?
What is your Internet browser and version?
Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Symantec, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Panda, Trend Micro, CA, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc..
    Next:
I would like to use CCleaner to watch all your startup items and you might be able to identify and disable the (this may take a few passes) or if you look at the list of startup items and do not know what to do, you can publish a list of your startup items and someone can help you to look at.
    Here's how:
    Download CCleaner here:
CCleaner allows you to manage most of the startup items and also do some other operations oriented cleaning.  Some people will you recommend is not to use the registry functions in CCleaner to avoid these features for now.  I have no problem with it for me, but sometimes it's a contentious issue, I prefer to avoid as much as possible
    !
You can uninstall CCleaner later if you don't like it.
You can disable the startup items, see how things look and if you want to - delete totally useless, or just startup items leave the disabled while you continue troubleshooting.  Note that disabling things does not uninstall anything, and if there is a problem, you can simply re-enable the point.  If you're sure you don't want at all, then you can delete it.
After launch of CCleaner and see what startup items you can disable/remove, if you are still not sure of your startup items, follow these steps:
Run CCleaner and choose Tools, boot and bottom right, click on the button "Save to text file" to save the startup information in a text file on your desktop with a name you remember - something like startup.txt
Save the boot information text file on your desktop (or somewhere you can find it) open the text file with an editor (Notepad or WordPad), select all (Ctrl-A), copy text, all the text selected in the Windows Clipboard (Ctrl-C) and then paste (Ctrl + V) the contents of the startup list to come back here in your next reply and maybe someone can tell you other things to consider.
A more revealing startup Analyzer is Autoruns which will allow the manipulation of all sectors of boot and does not actually install anything:
I have zero startup items on my computer and my startup list is empty, so none of this is important to me!
  • Where can I find a list of services that XP Professional needs to start and run successfully without loading unnecessary things?

I seem to have a long boot of extradanry sequence. I checked with the listing services under administrative tools, and according to the list that appears, I have excess of 127 or so listed services.  Some are in automatic mode, some are on manual, none are disabled.  My question is, where can I find a list of services that XP Professional needs to start and run successfully without loading any of this filth?

Yes, I understand that some of this "gunk" is things I need for installed applications, but I'll sort that once I put my minimal optimal operating system to boot the system.

    I appreciate the help.

I have a question comparing Dreamweaver and Muse.  Can I create a website with Muse, then learn Dreamweaver, and edit the site Web of Muse?  Or would I need to start over with a new Web site based on Dreamweaver?

I went the same route. I started to want to learn web design and the Muse is an excellent tool. The code it generates, however, not to use it in Dreamweaver. This could be done, I think this isn't worth it, even for a real Geek. Once you get to Muse you will find there are things missing, stuff, you want to do, but are just tough in Muse or you can buy a widget. It is possible in DW and you get which through subscription, so it makes sense. Me what I know now, I'll go directly to DW to learn, except if you want results right now. If you don't want something to cause I stay with Muse and maybe learn to animate CC to add some pizazz to the site. If you only want a simple layout and a couple supporting stick with Muse pages if you want a larger site use DW. Good luck and check out this page to Muse on Google Plus Adobe Muse for beginners - community - Google +...

  • Re: Portege M200: need to start Win XP boot disk

    Hi all

I'm looking for a boot floppy to boot XP tablet edition disc 2005 on my Portege M200.
If someone could point me in the right direction that would be great.

    Hello

    You must initialize disc?
I wonder why you need this disc?

I think you don t know a fact. The diskette of starting in not necessary but you need a compatible CD/DVD player if you want to start from the CD or DVD.

The Portege M200 supports the recovery through the BIOS (by pressing 'C') with the USB 2.0 card and PCMCIA (16-bit and Cardbus).

_Following and controllers (USB, PCMCIA) can be used: _
    one) Toshiba, PA3352E-SCD2, CD-RW/DVD-Rom USB 2.0 drive
    (b) Toshiba, PA3402E-1DV2 USB 2.0 DVD Super Multi Drive, SN: 5362870112
    (c) Toshiba, PX1055E-1NST SN: 3431490096 with a PC card (16 bit), cable, PCMCIA Card, Rev.043.242, SN: 18496 043 3999 0343 01093
    (d) Toshiba, PX1055E-1NST SN: 3431490096 with CardBus, cable II, CARDBUS, Rev.136, SN: 16693 136 3999 0149 06122

The setting of 'PC Card Controller Mode' in the BIOS should be 'Automatic Selection '.
This means that you have nothing to change in the BIOS, because it is the default value.

  • Satellite M40-145 needs more start after removing the BT to start

    Hello people,

I am wrinting this post because I think that this version of Bluetooth stack probably has an incompatibility with my toshiba m40 - 145 PSM40E - Windows Xp

I always remove the Bluetooth Managment (TosBtMng.exe) windows Startup, and now if I do that, I have problems when I'm back from sleep mode. Sometimes, I need to wait more than a minute or two to access the windows. While wainting my monitor stays off and my hard drive is flashing.

Because I still put TosBtMng.exe to start windows my recovery is ok...

Do you think this is normal?

    Hey nokai

Having just upgraded to El Capitan, I find I can't answer or transfer emails from Apple Mail.  I just get a black enamel without data included original box. I checked the preferences and everything looks ok in there.

Restart the computer in safe mode. Some caches maintained by the system will be rebuilt.

Safe mode is much slower to start up as normal. The next normal boot can also be a bit slow.

If you use no FileVault 2 in OS X 10.7 ("Lion") or later version, you can restart as usual (not in safe mode) when the login screen appears. There is no need to log on in safe mode.

If you use FileVault 2 in OS X 10.11 ("El Capitan") or later version, or if you don't know if use you it, you as usual then connect in safe mode, and then restart (not in safe mode.)

If you use FileVault 2 in OS X 10.9 ("Yosemite") or an earlier version, or if a firmware password is defined, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you cannot start in safe mode. In this case, request further instructions.

    Hello

I have problems to make my A60 began. When I turn it on and it started, if I click on the beginning of the window do not appear until I first pressed the windows button.
I can then go into the programs, BUT the keyboard does not work. If I now click on shut down and restart when it appears in the middle of the screen, it will close and restart, then everything will work as it should. I've had several people look whizz, but we are still scratching our heads.

I'm not very close to any officer of Toshiba and would appreciate comments as long as it could be understood by a retired.

  • I'm trying to clean up my Start menu but don't want to delete anything, I should not. How can I find programs that are actually needed to start?

Computer starts slowly. Try to find ways of reorganization and boost performance.

    Hello

Many things contribute to this slowdown to a computer, it could be hardware or software related.

    Method 1.
Computers get slower for various reasons: files become disorganized, unnecessary software consumes resources, readers of network unused slow start or too many programs run automatically at startup. Larger, serious questions can dramatically too slow down your computer's performance. You may have a virus or have need troubleshoot clean start.
Check to see if the problem exists in Safe Mode, if the computer works as expected in mode without failure, then we can solve the problem in the clean boot state.
    a. refer to the article below for the procedure safe mode in Windows XP
