  (5) disable the prioritization of device on the router if this feature is available. Also turn off all apps to VPN and retest the Wi - Fi.

  (6) determine if other wireless network devices work well (other iOS devices, Mac, PC).

  (7) try the device on another network, i.e., neighbors, the public coffee house, etc.

I tried many drivers - w10 autoupdate, last official driver site and hp drivers lenovo. Second book ive - hp probook g2, same card WiFi (realtek 8723be) and same ms w10 and there are no problems.

  Adapter WiFi isn't broken - earlier I had w7, now ive 2nd os linux and it is ok.

  In more detail:

  This is a new ProBook G1 450, which I'm still doing basic settings I've not yet added my programs. I'll put up the pre-installed operating system preinstalled with HP programs.

  There the code connects to the internet via an ethernet cable and I downloaded several Win 7 HP updates in this way. But it does not connect via a wireless network. It does not recognize that there is Wifi signals in the area. My old Thinkpad and my tablet to recognize a number of strong Wifs in the region and easily connect to the one that I am authorized to use. The ProBook said that there is not a wireless in the region.

  The ProBook WiFi is apparently disabled. The wireless light is turned on (white) and when I click on the appropriate icon, there's a message saying that Bluetooth is activated, but the Wifi is turned off.  Light is supposed to turn on if Wifi or Bluetooth, or both are enabled, it is not a malfunction if it lights up when turned on the only. But I have not yet tried Bluetooth.

  Many other ProBook G1 450 apparently have a Ralink wireless device or other devices. Not mine. Apparently my ProBook has an Intel Dual Bank Wireless-AC3160 with Bluetooth handset device. That's what told Device Manager. And this device can be great or maybe even a nice improvement.     The page of HP support for downloads of driver for my ProBook has no driver for such a device with wireless Intel.

  It was a driver problem. I had looked for the driver on the page of intel as well as the disk HP support page and it has not been found. But I looked back to the page of the Intel wireless driver and judge. The tricky part is that the pilot is not directly under Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160: no driver is listed directly for her. The D-Link is new and seems to be ok. My other was a router Netgar N900. The D-Link is the AC-3150, a pretty radical router. The interface is a bit different, but it has the same information as the other routers.

  IM pretty good setting up networks, but this one has pulling me my hair out.

  I can't connect directly, otherwise I'd do it but why with a laptop. I also connected directly with my mini and who then shared and still only got 23Mbps speeds. My service is minimum 150Mbps downwards.

  Someone has an idea of what might be wrong. I reset and rebooted several times. My connection is DHCP but I did no changes using this or static. I checked the settings between the two laptops, and there is nothing else that I can see.

  Fixed a problem. I have the new D-Link AC3150 Ultra WiFi router. It is supposed to be an intelligent router that gives you the best radio for the fastest speeds available. Maybe it's not so smart after all. I disabled the smart function and configuring a dual network. One for the other for 5G and 2.4 g. I put the 2.4 for older speeds and 5G for speed N/AC Protocol. After setting this up, I chose the 5G network and now my speeds are shouting along to 224Mbps and solid as a rock.

  Other than to be not so smart at least on a Mac platform I see no problem still with this router. I will pass along this information for D-Link. If you purchased one of these and your speed is way slower than expected then you need disable the smart function and have just two separate networks. Catch 5G as it is young, but don't forget that you only let the speed N or AC. Don't let not default on older slower speeds.

  I think that it of difficult to say something because it can be everything... I want to say that no one knows what you have installed exactly so it could be a software or a hardware problem.

  In my opinion the best way to identify the exact problem is reinstall with the Toshiba recovery disc. It will restore software factory with all the drivers and tools. If these settings are pre-tested and should work correctly.

  Otherwise it might be a hardware malfunction and an authorized service provider can verify this.

  It looks like a problem with your display driver itself have put in a lot of trouble with whatever your application is trying to get it to do.

  The only option is to check your driver version is the latest available at Toshiba. I wouldn't recommend trying to update the driver to a version from somewhere else, since graphics drivers tend to be specific to the laptop model rather than generic as is the case for PC Tower.

  You can also try some of your display settings on the control panel to see if this reduces the impact of the problem of adjustment.
