VGA, Dell inspiron 530 s, Panasonic tv

Hey guys

new to the forum. Sorry I don't use a lot of grammar online.

Well I recently got my old Dell back from my grandparents. It's a dell inspiron 520 s.

Well I don't have a computer here monitor so I thoguht I would use my TV.

Well, I pluged the VGA cable, I have in the computer and the tv.

a first commissioning due to my grandparents not knowing how to use a computer, he said he ahd been shut down improperly and I wanted to start in safe mode. so I scrolled down to start regularly and it sorta did it.

made the start to the top of its windows and saw the little green bar a bit. but then the screen went black.

in red letters in the top left corner was displayed "signal".

tried a few reboots and others, but can't get it to run via safe mode. I am in SafeMode in network at the moment so I can use the net.

Ive never had to use a front VGA cable. It seems to work sorta but only in safe mode. I want to be able to use a regular mode to please.

sound is also another question. After starting the windows sound more sonorous. down in the lower right corner, he says that the audio service is not running. any ideas? It won't let me just start it either. any ideas? I have pluged it in my stereo system from sony for the moment. computer speakers I've tried, but they don't seem to work either.

When I check to see if I need to update my drivers it says that I am not. but I'm sure that's it. any ideas guys?

Hi Scudreloaded,

This would happen if the screen resolution is not defined pursuant to resolution supported by the TV.

I suggest that you start in the mode "activate video low resolution (640 × 480)" and then change the resolution of the screen and check if it helps. Sound disappears once you are able to boot into normal mode the audio service does not function in safe mode.

(a) click the Start button, click the arrow next to Shut Down, and then click restart.

(b) do one of the following:

·         If your computer has a single operating system installed, press and hold the F8 key as your computer restarts. You need to press F8 before the Windows logo appears. If the Windows logo appears, try again by waiting until the Windows logon prompt appears, and then stop and restart your computer.

·         If your computer has more than one operating system, use the arrow keys to select the operating system you want to start in safe mode, and then press F8.

(c) on the screen Advanced Startup Options , use the arrow keys to select Activate video low resolution (640 × 480)and press ENTER.

(d) log in your computer with a user account with administrator rights.

Change the screen resolution

    Hi MButIer,

-How long have you had this problem?
-Was any change in software because the computer before the show?

    Follow the steps mentioned below:

    Step 1:

Temporarily disable the antivirus software (and any other security software) and the firewall on the computer as a test. Once disabled check if you can connect to the internet without any error.

If disabling the antivirus software solves the problem, you may need to configure the settings of the antivirus as a result program. Please contact the software vendor for assistance in this regard.

Note: Make sure that you enable the antivirus software, other security and firewall programs.

    Warning

Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

    Step 2:

Perform a System Restore to a point before the show and check if this solves the problem.

If the steps above do not help, the best would be to get in touch with the Internet Service Provider (ISP) for assistance.

  • Does support windows windows vista after a factory reset on a Dell Inspiron 530

I'll perform a factory reset and reset on my Dell Inspiron 530 which has windows Vista Home Premium installed. My question is will download all the drivers and software factory or update the system if windows does not support Vista? It's my first time doing this, and any advice will be appreciated. Thank you.

Microsoft dropped support for all versions of IE prior to 11 and only allowed up to version 9 under Vista. Also, Google dropped Chrome support for this operating system. Office 2013/2016/Windows Live Essentials all do not support Windows Vista.

Review the operating system at the end of life.

Theres no official free upgrade path to TH2 10 Windows, however, you can use the unofficial 10130 upgrade path. The Inspiron 530 works on Windows 10 wells 64bits TH2.

    Bob Brown

    Hi, Bob Brown,.

Follow the steps below to locate the problem:

    Unplug all external devices:

    • Printers
    • Scanners
    • Media card readers
    • Small cradles of media (iPod, PDA, MP3 player, etc.)
    • Digital cameras and video recorders
    • USB storage devices
    • CD or DVD of all optical drives

The only devices you should leave on your computer are your monitor, mouse and keyboard, if the computer is a desktop computer.

Check if you have run diagnostic computer equipment:

To run PSA Diagnostics, turn on the computer and press the several times at the Dell logo screen. This will start the unique Boot Menu. Select Diagnostics to start hardware diagnostic assessment.

This test takes about 5 minutes.

Reset the BIOS to default values:

If your computer is set to the first attempt to start on another device, this can cause problems with the successful start-up of Windows. To reset the BIOS of your computer to the default settings, follow these steps:

    Restart the computer

At the Dell logo on reboot, press of repeatedly until you see entering setup in the upper right corner of the screen.

According to the BIOS, you may have to press a button on the bottom to load the default settings. For example, on the Inspiron N5110.

Check if the computer starts in Mode safe:

    • Start the computer.
    • Type on the keyboard immediately after the Dell logo screen disappears until you see the Windows Advanced on-screen Menu of Options.
    • (If the Windows Advanced Options Menu does not appear, restart the system and try again.)
    • Select safe mode and press .
    • Log on as an administrator or as a user with administrative access.

  • AHCI for Dell Inspiron 530

Hi, I just installed a Samsung 840 EVO 250 GB in my Dell Inspiron 530 (Quad Q6600) running under Win 7 32 bit. BIOS version 1.0.18 (latest version) the SSD works really well, giving the startup time much better than with the previous hard disk. However, I am under IDE and AHCI is not enabled. 1. it will make much difference to the performance of the SSD if I'd be able to get the AHCI running on my system? 2. If so, how can I get the AHCI to work? Thanks for your help!

It will not make much difference, but it will make your system more efficient.
