  Yes.  Here's how:

  When you build your executable file, there are several screens in which you set parameters.

  Under "The Source file settings", check "VI Set of properties for all contained items.

  Click on the button "customize the properties of VI.  Another dialog box appears that lists the properties of the VI.

  Under 'Performance', uncheck the box "use the VI property.

  Make sure that ' Run when opened ' is not checked.

  Now, when you build your executable file, your user will have to press the white arrow to start the VI.

  This was reported to R & D (# 157033) for further investigations. In your original post, I noticed that you mentioned that the project not prompt you to save any screws edited when closed.  I however was not able to reproduce this behavior.  The project will always prompt me to save one of the dirty screws.  Even the screw still in run mode.  Is there maybe a corner case is that I'm missing I cannot reproduce this?  Also, thanks for the comments!

• Deploying Applications multilingual in run Mode

  We are looking to start using a runtime of Apex for our Production environment.
  
  Evrything works fine until we try to import a multi-language application.
  
  I wasn't able to find anything in the documentation that explains how import/publish the second language in run mode.

  Hello

  Make sure that you export the application multilingual from your workspace and the execution of PROD environment are exactly the same.
  They MUST have the same internal ID, also called security_group_id.
  You can check this by exporting the two workspaces and comparing internal ID in the export files.

  With the same ID workspace, you also have to keep the id of the application even if the language mappings are removed during the installation.

  for some reason, Captivate Runtime calls not through the ExternalInterface cpSetValue... so it's really problematic that I need to retrieve the movie_handle and the variable_handle.

  For Edit mode and stage cpSetValue is called by the external interface. However when running the widget swf is pulled inside the Captivate SWF. Because the runtime of Captivate is a SWF file as well, he has no need to use external Interface call cpSetValue. So instead, he simply called cpSetValue directly as you would call any other function.

  That's why I was asking if you put this code in an ActionScript class. In this case, if you did cpSetValue private, then Captivate would not be able to call this function because it is against the rules of ActionScript.

  Here again, the simplest solution for this is to build your widget with WidgetFactory. It's an API that takes care of all this background stuff for you. You would never have this problem if you work with WidgetFactory. Check out the blog Widget King learn how it works.

  I have a Satellite A300-1JH (short name PSAGLE) and so far I've used with XP SP3 and everything worked perfectly. But now I installed Vista 64 bit and there are many features that does not work, because there are VERY few drivers available for the 64-bit version of Vista.

  The problems that I hate the most are: turn on/off the touchpad and making multimedia buttons don't work (they are turned on - I changed the setting of the del in the BIOS, however they do nothing).
  And another question: to install XP, I changed the hard drive in the BIOS of the AHCI (or *-something) to "compatibility and now I forgot and installed Vista on the compatible mode.»

  When I tried to change Vista in AHCI (or other) no longer works. What is the difference between the compatible mode and A mode * and has a negative influence on my computer if I use it in compatibility mode?

  Vista need to AHCI mode and there is nothing you can do about it. In addition, you cannot change.
  So, put it in the BIOS and reinstall Vista.

  Executables built with LabVIEW 2013 or 2013 SP1 (32-bit) requires the runtime LabVIEW 2013 (32 bit).

  Drivers update is a maintenance procedure.  They should be updated as soon as they are available.  You can run Windows Update, update HP to obtain the latest drivers, and other updates.
