VI version (13.0b0) is too old to convert to the latest version of LabVIEW (13.0f2)

Trying to generate an executable in LV 2013 SDS using the specifications to build > installation script I've used in the past.

LabVIEW version is 32-bit 13.0f2 (windows XP)

It works fine until the user tries to run the application installed on the 64-bit Windows 7 machine.

This results in the following error message:

I tried to compile mass the folder in which the highest level VI is located in the source distribution, nothing helps.

I even installed it on my development machine and the same message pop up it when I run the executable file.

Any suggestion?

I found the reason of my troubles after a few exchanges with the support of NEITHER: me!

In short, I forgot that when you choose 'install' like build specifications and then 'building' the installation program, it must point to a source file that is the desired executable.

But first, he must create a build specification that builds this AND build executable as executable (at least the way I go about it). I just forgot to do this step (I do not generate installers that often) and the installer was just reuse an old exectable I had created during the beta.

  • Old MacPro cannot run the latest update to iTunes

I have an old MacPro 1.1 running OS X 10.6.8 I want to put my music on a new iPod Touch, I just bought and it says I can't because my software does not support the latest version of iTunes. Download another operating system that will allow me to use this iPod? I just tried El Capitan and it says that my computer will not support it.

iOS9 on a mobile device requires iTunes 12.3 or higher, which in turn requires a computer running OSX 10.8.5 or higher.  Update of the system only checks the updates for the current version of the system you run, but that itself can be updated.  It may or may not be possible to upgrade your computer to the system requirements. Find your computer on the web site of http://www.everymac.com model and near the bottom of the specification of the system section, he will tell what versions of the operating system, it is able to run. If you can not run a newer system, you will not be able to sync this phone to your current computer. If she can run 10.8.5 or higher, you can either buy a download for Apple OSX 10.8 Mountain Lion code online, or you can try to install the free El Capitan OSX 10.11.  El Capitan can run slower on older machines and require the additional purchase of RAM.  Making a big jump in versions of system is also more likely to affect the old software.

  • When I download my pictures from my camera it upload again all the 'old'. How can I download the 'old' and just do the latest news.

The kodak camera and Windows Photo Gallery. whenever I download my recent photo's do all the 'old' also and my computer is full with a copy of the photos now. Help.

    Hello

I suggest that read you through the user manual camera and check if there are any settings that need to be corrected.

As a solution, if you do not want to delete the old photo files, I suggest you transfer to another folder or a USB drive, then delete the old files of the device, then try to import new files on your computer.

  • Version of VI is still too early to convert the last version of LabView

I get this error when deploying a simple loop VI I try to troubleshoot the symptom of not being able to connect to the remote control.

I have LabView 2014 SP1 version 14.0.1 installed and that's what I used to build the VI (see attachment).  The version of the software on the cDAQ 9139 I work with ranges from 14.0.1 for real-time 14.2.0 for DAQmx 14.5.0 or Web Application Server.  (See attachment).

How can we still too early to convert to the current version, if the software LabView 2014 is installed on the cDAQ has VI created in LabView 2014?

Again, the symptom that I see is "Server does not support remote façade panels" when you try to access the façade of a web browser.   I confirmed by working with our it Department IS not blocking all communication.  The Blue Coat standard software is not installed on the computer, I'm trying to access the Panel of (I also tried to connect to the remote control of my computer at home that has no software IS on it with the same results).  Anything related to the NC was added as exceptions to the firewall.  I have tried a large number of configurations of ports and worked through the troubleshooting list, you can find on NI.com when you search for this error.  There must be something tiny miss me.

In addition, nobody knows what the two links in the HTML file that is generated when you use the Web publishing tool are supposed to do?  One is a FTP link and the other is a link to the plugins page.

I took two step forward on this issue.  First of all, I reformatted the hard drive of the cDAQ and reinstalled only most of the software as before, I had been all install available on the host the cDAQ.  This seems to have fixed the error 'version of VI is too early to convert the last version of LabView.  Secondly, I discovered an error in my understanding of the port settings.

In the configuration of the cDAQ web screen, the web application server is listed as port 8080, by default I believe.

In the properties cDAQ in the Project Explorer window, the web server has been changed on port 80 to eliminate the need to put in the port number to access the remote control.

I'm sure it's an assumption on my part, and oblivion, but I thought that those who have the same parameter with just the ability to be set from two different places.

When I try to access the remote control via the web browser uses the web application server port listed in the views of web configuration, I received the error "server does not support the remote panels.  When I try to access the remote control via the web browser using the port listed in the properties of the CDAQ project for remote control Server Explorer, I could see and interact with the remote control.

This probably also makes perfect sense now that I understand they serve two different goals, but if you define two ports at the same address, you will get the error "server does not support the remote panels.  Interesting that it always provides the correct html page.

I am sure it was my problem throughout linked to the issue of the remote control.  I was probably just lucky when I put the Panel remote port server during the initial setup and my luck ran out when I upgraded to LabView 2014.

Hope this helps people who may have the same assumptions I made.

  • Is there an automatic ActionScript OLD/NEW converter?

    Hi all
    I've been using Macromedia Flash version 4 & 5 in 1999 ~ 2001. -I'm an old man.
Then I stopped using Macromedia Flash.
Now, I need more 100 swf flash files that I created at this time (8 years ago) to resurrect.
Yes, all these SWFs that have been written in AS1 still work in current browsers (maybe the browsers automatically detect the correct version of flash player for my swf files)
However, now the problem is I have to add more animals to & edit these old .fla files using the latest version of flash. And the new Macromedia Flash does not seem automatic conversion my old AS1 scripts for the new flash 8 player or higher... and displays only error messages.
So my question is, is it ActionScript auto conversion software to convert the old AS1-AS2/AS3 files which can be read using the flash player version 8 or higher?

    URMyLuckyStar,

    > Yes, all these SWFs that have been written in AS1 still work
    > in current browsers (maybe the automatic detection of browsers the)
(> good version of flash player for my swf files)

Browsers does not inherently detect Flash Player, but the HTML that incorporates
your SWF can be programmed with JavaScript to do it. More than likely,.
what you see, is simply the fact that (for the most part) Flash Player
is backward compatible. I can only think of one or two discouraged
Terms of ActionScript (for example, the concatenator "add") are no longer
supported. Seems like your SWF AS1 happens to be free of those very
    a few scenarios.

    > However, now the problem is I need to add more stuffs to &
    > change these old .fla files using the latest version of flash.

    This shouldn't really be a problem. :)

    > And the new Macromedia Flash does not seem automatic conversion my
    > old AS1 scripts for the new flash 8 player or higher...

Unless your changes need the new features of Flash Player, you can
keep on using AS1 and published for Flash Player 4, 5, 6 and so on.

    > So my question is, is auto conversion to ActionScript
    > software to convert the old AS1-AS2/AS3 files which
    > viewable with flash player version 8 or higher?

There is no, I know. But what error messages are getting you?
Why do you need to specifically target the Flash Player 8 (or higher)? (I ask)
Because maybe you don't have.) Flash Player 8 is the version to drop support
for the concatentor 'Add', so that's the only issue. Let's see some of
your error messages and who should bring solutions to light.

  • Cannot open iPhoto Library as it says library version is too old - have tried to download the iPhoto library valuation tool - still does not open.

Hi, I saved my photos on my passport, since I upgraded my phone and now I can't open the photos as it says that the version of the library is too old. I've uploaded my photos from my old laptop to my new office using my passport and still can't open. I tried to download the iPhoto library valuation tool but still does not open. Can someone please?

    Thank you

I tried to download the iPhoto library valuation tool but still does not open.

But install you and run the iPhoto Library upgrade?  Just the download is not enough.  You need to open the library in upgrader iPhoto library and let it prepare the library.  After installation, you will find the iPhoto Library upgrade in the "Utilities" folder in the "Applications" folder

  • My MacBook Pro is too old to run the latest version of the Adobe Creative Cloud?

    Hi people,

I downloaded a demo of Illustrator a few weeks ago and it kept crashing.

One of my colleagues has suggested that my computer is perhaps too old already...

But I got more ready-made creative cloud in 2012. And I think that I abandoned it in 2014.

Maybe my laptop can't handle the current version? I also wonder if it cannot even manage the last update of macOS... been a little slow since I upgraded.

    Here are the specs:

It makes sense to buy one that suits at the time where you can afford.

Be aware that office creative Cloud such as Photoshop and Illustrator won't work on the iPad Pro. The iPad Pro works mobile operating system from Apple iOS, so it will only work the cloud of mobile applications.

Adobe mobile, iPhone, iPad, Android apps | Adobe Creative Cloud

It cannot run any desktop cloud that require Apple's OS X operating system.

A well specified MacBook Pro will give good service and run applications such as Photoshop and Illustrator Office...

  • Version too old to administer the site

We have four directors of our site, due to its large size. A Director downloaded the trial version of CS3 to test. Now, since she used the administration with this version features, none of us can use the features of admin with our version (3.1). He said: "your version of Contribute is too old to administer this Web site. Use a newer version of Contribute, or contact another administrator. »

A way to solve this problem, other than the upgrade?

Yes! We reinforced the _mm folder and replace it restored our ability to administer with 3.1. Thank you!

  • ICloud sync broken between Yosemite (too old for El Capitan) Mac and iOS9.3 on devices, for all Apple applications. Any solution?

Since that is new iPad and iPhone one last week, with iOS 9.3.4, I can't rely on iCloud (iCloud Drive) for synchronization between these devices and my iMac on docs or entries that I create in Pages, Numbers, calendar, Contacts, Notes, reminders.

With no synchronization goes, I am now frustrated with Apple based applications.  The only solution is to buy a new iMac that can do El Capitan for iCloud to synchronize?

My 2008 iMac cannot go beyond the latest version of Yosemite.  Even apps that I continue to use without problems - except iCloud who can't do what it should.  According to me, only yosemite on the iMac in 2008, was made bankrupt by the last iOS.

That's the problem - unless someone has found a workaround.  Without a functional iCloud, sync that I've been waiting for has disappeared.  I need to change how to manage what I do on the devices and the computer.

I would like to find a way to "merge" safe documents created in these applications on both devices and the computer. Initially a merger will have duplicates.  I can't let the docs on any device replace the docs on the other.

To avoid any loss of docs on any device and computers, I'm afraid to try to use iTunes.  So I won't try it.  Maybe I need to go "manual" and look at the files on each and do the merge manually, by sending an e-mail.  Help!  I discovered this by accident and now that I look closer I see that synchronization does not occur.

between Yosemite Mac (too old for El Capitan)

Any Mac that can run in Yosemite can run El Capitan. Early 2008 iMacs can run El Capitan.

  • Re: Is my Win XP too old for Satellite Pro L20

    Hi guys

This is the first time on a forum, so please be nice.
I'm trying to re - install the OS on my toshiba Satellite Pro L20 and chipset specifications requires:

Windows * XP 5.10.2600 (original version)

I have Windows XP home 2002 which seems to be 5.1.2600.

I've never done this before and I'm trying to rebuild the laptop for my father in law to use.

My version of windows is too old for this? I have an error message asking me to check the system requirements in the readme file

    Thank you

No, it is certainly not too old ;)

Maybe your XP disk contains SP2 or other patches, but it's not really bad.
You can update everything after installing Windows.

After installing windows, you could install the Toshiba drivers that you might find on the European driver Toshiba page.

Please note; You should also research * Archives * area the driver page if you won't find anything in field of laptops
