• Combining clips from several cameras and grainy images

  I'm sure it's something completely basic as I am a noob to first bit, but I can't find an answer... I hope that someone here has a easy or can point me in the right direction...

  I work on a timeline for trying to learn the basics of creating personal video.

  I try to combine video from a family event turned on 2 different cameras, one a digital camera that shot the video in 1920 x 1080 and 23.976 fps,.

  and the other, my iPhone 4 at 1280 x 720 and 24 fps

  I install my project at 1280 x 720, the size of my video iPhone and am reduce the other images to this size.

  I also chose a time base of 23.976 seconds for the sequence.

  Now, whenever my calendar hits the iPhone images, he plays really grainy and pixelated.

  I thought that maybe it's the framerate and tried to interpret images on images from iPhone (24 fps), to 23.976, but that did not fix it.

  Anyone has another idea why this might be happening?

  And if it's something completely Basic, do not hesitate to give me a kick in the ass and tell me to go back to Flash and Photoshop... but any help would be appreciated ~

  Right click on the program monitor > reading resolution > full. It is probably defaulting to 1/2, which causes some funky stuff to happen with compression inter-field footage.

• How to add text on the video and still images?

  CS 5.5. I want to add text credits at the end of a clip on top a fixed image, but I don't know how to do it. I don't want to do some exploring, text just above the .jpg image. I tried to use the title of"to do, but for some reason any title using part of the video for do not return, it comes with a yellow instead of red like the rest of the video in the timeline. I searched the FAQ and google for help and all that shows is how to make a title using text.

  How to create a movie with Windows movie maker, it doesn't recognize a small video with the extension. My camera kodak MOV.  Windows Media will play sound only.   Quik time player shows video & sound, but it seems to change you must buy software Quik Time.  Is there something that recognizes. MOV and is free?

  If you convert the .mov file to .wmv format
  You should be able to open it in Movie Maker.

  There are many programs that can do conversions...
  The following freeware is an example...:

  can someone tell me how to solve the problem?   Videos and commercial images flashing in the upper left corner of my screen to the place where they are supposed to be.  But the controls for videos, play/pause, volume, etc. are in the empty box where the video is meant to be.

  Check the following if you use IE9.

  Open windows control panel, open Internet Options and click the Advanced tab.  Under the graphic acceleration, make sure you there is not a tick against 'use made instead of GPU Rendering software.  If it is, uncheck the box and click on apply to save the change.  Restart IE.

  If the above doesn't help (or does not), download the latest installer of Flash Player and save it to your desktop.  Then, close all browsers, open windows control panel, open programs and features and uninstall Flash Player, if it is displayed here.  Once completed, restart the PC.  Now, double-click on the Setup program on your desktop to reinstall Flash Player.

  Another option is to download and install Firefox as a temporary measure, as the latest version of Adobe Flash seems to work OK with that - you may need to run the installer of Flash again after installing Firefox.

  I'm new to JavaFX and I would like to know if it is possible to read a video simultaneously and display an image above him in the same scene.

  Wrap the mediaPlayer in a MediaView and add the media view to the container. Do not use a group as the component root as in the code example in the example, though.

  I think it is because you are using a StackPane, that stacks on top of the other nodes (in the Z-order); so if you add the video first it will be hidden by the image. Use a different presentation pane: VBox is the simplest. The tutorial has a summary of all the components of integrated layout .

  If you are going to do something like this:

  @OP - a problem I already see with what you have said is "tune up." A proper functioning of that Windows does not have a tune up and these applications only destroy the excellent work that Microsoft has done by making their operating systems. You'll be better off uninstalling applications like that.

  Next best step: uninstall any antivirus in safe mode with 3rd party manufacturer tool. Reboot and install MSE to replace.

  I did a lot of videos... pictures with music.

  I would like to remove many of the videos but not sure how to proceed.  I want to keep the pictures that are in the video, but I don't know how to do this.  The last time I deleted the videos I lost the photos and has never been able to recover these photos from the Recycle Bin.  I also thought that maybe I should just remove all the pictures of the video and to remove the video.  I don't know if I should do this... I'm afraid that somehow the images will be deleted, and I will never see them again.

  Does anyone have any suggestions?

  Thank you for your quick response.  What I can do is to make a slide show.  What I do is to put pictures in a slideshow video.  I add photos, and I can add music.  I can only put these pictures with the music on a CD.  I can only play the disc for people to watch that is if I can make them sit down to watch it... ha ha.

  My problem is that since I have the pictures and music on my drive, I don't have the folder that is located on my computer that contains images and music.  I want to remove this folder, but unfortunately when I do not delete the folder, the photos are also deleted and I'm not able to recover from the trash.  (I know that things can be recovered from the Recycle Bin, but I tried this and made a real mess).

  I know it's a little confusing but I hope you understand what I'm trying to say.  Do you have any suggestions?  If this isn't the case, it's ok.  You're very kind for trying to help me and I appreciate it.

  I do not understand why you want to delete a folder that contains pictures
  you do not want to delete.

  Here's the thing... If you create a file of the video... that you can display in
  Windows Media Player and share with others... your photos have been
  coded in a different format. It's not the same as a backup of
  your photos and you should keep your original photo files.

  The images have a resolution different then video

  Video is usually 16:9 while the photos are of 3:2.

  Check the height and width of the two.

  FIX: the scale of the images upward (effect controls/movement)

  This means that you have previously imported these pictures/videos into Lightroom, and you must not (and are not allowed to) import them again.
