• 1025nw Jam in Drum area - attention LED still flashes and cannot print the test page

  My Laserjet PRO CP1025nw is only 3 weeks. Everything was normal until I met a paper jam today. I removed the damaged document by opening the back cover and the piece of paper remaining from the feeder. But still, printer flashes driving caution.

  I turned the printer off and then back on and tried the instructions in the user manual to clear paper jams. When I turn on the printer, all lights are turning ON one (as the normal boot sequence) and then warning led flashes. I couldn't hear any engine wheelchair or his mechanics during this process. Web server page printer (with wifi) showed the status of the printer as "jam in the drum area.  I removed and re-inserted Imaging drum by following the instructions to replace the imaging drum.

  What I see after turning on th eprinter is just attention light flashing and I can't even print a test page. I don't hear any rotation of the engine sound of the printer. Pleas help me out of this problem.

  I solved the problem myself. Although I couldn't find any piece of paper left by normal inspection of the outside of the printer, I removed the Assembly / separation and roll pick-up from the input tray to find a small piece of paper remaining on the paper sensor flag. Very hard or literally impossible to find something in this place by the normal health check.

  To eliminate the epickup roll pre-assembled under th eprinter th, I removed the right side panel and the left side panel for th eprinter. I was happy to see the piece of paper that has ruined my day quiete. Deleted and everything set up as before and successfully took a test page print.

  Thank you for repair of HP, which led me to get inside the printer.

• "No audio output device is installed" no sound, video controller and game on the Device Manager section,.

  my laptop has no sound, it says no audio installed and the speaker symbol has a red cross on it. I tired all help but nothings worked, and the thing to fix auto could not fix. The Device Manager there is not even a sound, video, game controller section. Sometimes when I put into hibernation and back on I have sound and everything works fine (except when I run itunes and it stops again), but I say that I have no audio device again to restart the laptop. I have the vista updates this. All ideas

  I had the same problem with my Compaq F700 series laptop. His was a work day and does not not the other. I couldn't use most of the patches because they need to have the tab of sound, video, game available and also lacked this tab.

  I tried to do system restore and rolling it back, but the problem has not been resolved. What finally worked was restoring the system to a MUCH earlier date, as one month before the problem. When finished restoring the sound was still not fixed. HOWEVER, the computer OS (WINDOWS 7) necessary to re - install a bunch of updates and after the updates have been installed, everything worked. I suspect that the original problem was a bad update (I.e. has not installed correctly) and one to ride the system goes back to a time before the bad update and then re-installing the update was the fix.
  That said, if the restore option does not or cannot be I would try searching through the Add/Remove programs in the control panel to uninstall the updates of the system, and then restart the computer and let updated them, re - install.

• AE - video appears and disappears in the main comp but comp void HELP!

  I'm working on a music video (mostly live footage) and images play perfectly well in a model of void (e.g. comp1 image below: BASS1) but in the main computer, the images empties every few seconds (for example a blank image: 2 Vids).

  When I make it the same thing - the video disappears in parts! I also used an effect like Trapcode particular in the subcomp and the effect will appear in the final rendering very well but the video always disappears every few seconds.

  I hope that its some simple setting me escapes, but I'm under time pressure and can't resolve it. Any help appreciated!

• Video driver and Bios graphics (the two A06) problems

  I upgraded my bios to A06 7/10, when he was released. I also upgraded my Intel drivers, including graphics drivers, 7/10-version A06 releasing. Everything seemed fine at first. However, some applications of Windows 8, such as the application of Windows of Lync, have graphics problems.

  All the text and labels in the Lync application are white or black, including what I type in the message window. It makes it unusable. I tried to reinstall the graphics driver. I also uninstalled and reinstalled the Lync application. Nothing works.

  Update: Windows updates again this week (via Windows update) which addressed this issue. Everything works again with Windows 8.1.

  FYI - Windows update was unreadable... so I had to use another computer W8 beside my tablet as a way to help guess what is needed (given that the text was just long lines instead of letters).

• paste video clips and audio in the timeline (why failing A1 and V1)?

  Hey guys. This is probably a simple shortcut or something I am doing wrong.

  Say that I'm going to copy a piece of audio or video, I notice not always blocks V1 or A1 even if I have not currently selected.

  Same thing with extraction of the ins and outs... The V1 V2 V3 highlighted on the left side do not seem to make a difference when it comes to copying and pasting or extraction. I'm a usual AVID editing system which maybe why I'm used to directing where to go the A1 and V1.

  PHP returns two values that are perceived by the flash in InVal and InTxt variables. The collected values are correct and are thus displayed in boxes of 2 outputs. If the value in the input box is 5 or less, the outbox1.text shows "lo" and if the entrance area is greater than 5 the output1.text shows 'hi. '

  Now, if yew commented then block in the code is activated by removing the / * / of all about him and the program is run, the If Then block fails because the comparison of the InTxt fails.  SO even if the value of InTxt is "hi" or "lo" as seen on the 1st round, but the value does not change to the 'Value' but high 'low value' according to the value of InTxt in the If Then comparison bloac.

  Earlier I was using numbers and faulty when I tried to use strings because I thought that for some reason any PHP returns everything as strings. But as can be seen, even the string comparison fails.

  Can someone please comment on this problem and suggest a solution.

  to confirm that it is the white space, check the length of returned variables to see if they are more than 2.

• How you fade audio in and out. The website of adobe for Captivate says you can.

  This problem occurs only with youtube videos. Videos of other websites' run.

  Tried to reinstall Flash and by unchecking the hardware acceleration feature in the settings of the Flash drive, no effect.

  Helper7677 made me think and verified permission of cookie for youtube.com and seen that session cookies are allowed.

  Blocked all cookies to youtube.com and tried again.

  With all of the cookies on youtube.com blocked, post youtube videos and play, both embedded on other sites and youtube.com.

  Hope this helps other people are having the same problem.

• Firefox freezes - icon flashing task bar - seems the problems with flash - reinstalled both

  Using firefox 31.0 and uses the latest version of flash

  Often when visiting places such as youtube - firefox hangs with the firefox icon will blink in the taskbar - I have no open windows and it's a newish windows machine 7 - have reinstalled the two fire Fox and flash and still have the issue.

  Some problems with Flash video playback can be resolved by disabling hardware acceleration in Flash Player settings. (See this article for more information on using the Flash plugin in Firefox).

  To turn off hardware acceleration in Flash Player:

  1. Go to the Adobe Flash Player help page.
  2. Right-click on the Flash Player logo on this page.
  3. Click settings on the shortcut menu. The Adobe Flash Player settings screen opens.
  4. Click the icon in the lower left of the Adobe Flash Player settings window to open the display panel.
     
     

     

  5. Remove the enable hardware accelerationcheck box.
  6. Click close to close the Adobe Flash Player settings window.
  7. Restart Firefox.

• Captivate Flash and javascript to understand

  I have a simple requirement in which I need to capture the time a user spends watching a video. I publish a SCORM package with the. SWF option. I have the javascript code that would control the time. I put a button / stop which starts and stops the video and at the same time increases and stops the accumulated time. I need to pass this value to the SCORM package when the user closed the slide window or changes?

  (1) how can I insert a javascript global variable within the overall slide and javascript functions that are called at the start and pause buttons. The variable would be the accumulated time.

  (2) how can I call a JavaScript function from the slide script, (remember it's a flash) and go to the html page? I need to extract the session time accumulated and pass it to the variable session_time SCORM?

  (3) is there a better approach, I'm missing that would accomplish this with more elegance?

  If you put a function in the standard.js file or in the head of the html doc, you should be able to call this function. I would implement a timer in javascript with a function that stops and then restarts.

  I have a blog on how to add a timer countdown custon (www.tlcmediadesign.com) which could be converted to just number.

  If you find the function in the scormdriver.js that the game is the time (function SCORM_SaveTime (intMilliSeconds)), you could add a variable in there that you can set when you write the time and exit the Captivate service tries to write for her.

• Videos will not play after the publication

  I imported several .flv videos in my project, and they all play well when I do a preview, but once I publish the project as the videos just come as an empty frame. Video files seemed to be automatically placed in the same folder as the swf file, so I don't think that is the question.

  Try a little test.  Create a new project with the same dimensions of your existing project. Copy and paste the 2-3 slides from your project that contains videos flv and then publish the project.

  Observe that now you are able to play the project perfectly well or not.

  Also if he does not play in the test project then add the test swf in Flash a location approved. After you have added the test swf in the trusted location if he plays well, then try to add your swf existing at the approved location as well.
