Video lost on Pavilion P6620f

Videos lost P6620f desktop; simple monitor went dark.  However, monitor seems to agree; at the start of "LG" symbol appears (LG monitor).  No separate video card in the machine.  Any suggestions?

Update of the results of the installation of new PCI Express x 16 video card.  Received the new card today and installed, as well as drivers, tonight; I now have the video, it seems that the problem is solved.  However, I now get a warning message indicating that the ATI Catalyst Manager is unhappy because it is incompatible with the compatible graphics card.  Apparently I can uninstall the ATI Catalyst Manager, which I suppose could finish with the warning message.  Is there a reason to not do?  By inference, I guess we can assume that the original, integrated ATI had ceased to exist as the video card restored replacement facility. -Emrys2

  • Adding a video card in a hp pavilion p6620f with a card mother n-alvorix-rs880-formfat (alvorix)

I want to replace the video edge in this computer with a video card. I want to use a card geforce n210 1 gb ddr3 pci express dvi/hdmi. Anyone know if it will work. It seems that this is what I see so far, but I'm not a computer person. I want to be able to put a tc in my TV and be able to play some of the new games.  Thanks for any help

    Hello

The graphics card must be a PCIE x 16 compatible (for the expansion on the motherboard slot) one. Geforce n210 will definitely work, because it's a pcie x 16 card compatible USB2.0. You have a desktop computer, then that means that any pcie 2.0 x 16 graphics card might work and it's always on your wallet and the power of the power supply.

  • videos lost iCloud

    Hello

Some of my videos on my icloud storage are lost. I think 3-4 videos.

I use the 50 GB plan. I synchronize my camera and all my devices photo library.

At some point, I changed my credit card and Bill has not been paid for 2 or 3 days, until what I changed my billing method.

Pourrait - that something like that lead to data loss?

Here are the videos of my honeymoon, and it's really hard to believe that I have deleted it myself. Not to mention that I have a lot of videos before and after this date, all synchronized.

Has anyone noticed that icloud data loss?

PS. I use iphone, imac, macbook and icloud.com. The videos are nowhere, nor on the deleted items.

If you do not have to pay for your storage space and that your subscription has been downgraded, you may well have lost some data from the Cloud, but your iCloud library should stop working and the videos would be not be deleted from your Mac or other devices (assuming that they have not been optimized, in which case, they have never really there).

It is so well that you deleted them. If you have removed the over the last 30 days they should be in the recently deleted album, otherwise you may need to restore your library from the back to the top of your Mac.

  • P6-2010: new video on hp pavilion p6-2010 card

    Hello

I have a desktop HP pavilion p6-2010 and I want a new video card, so I can play some of the games of "new". For example, gtx 1060. It works on my pc? I heard that this motherboard does not work with other cards. Help, please.

    You're welcome, @E_One.

That's why I ceased to recommend video cards for older computers. Instead, I have members to contact the Technical Support of the manufacturer for help.  Video card manufacturers have got too far ahead of manufacturers OEMs such as HP.  X 16 PCI Express 3.0 is backward compatible, but if the card also requires the UEFI it still does not.  The GTX 650 does not require UEFI in the motherboard.  The last series is not for UEFI is the GTX 670.  After these cards you start to get in - it'll work or not it - scenarios.  I don't want to give bad information and cost somebody money when it is not necessary.  Sellers will pay for the shipping for you, but you pay to return a component that does not work I know because I paid them back.

I hope this helps you and disturbs no more. If you would like more information, feel free to ask.

  • Update video card with Pavilion H8-1214

I have a HP Pavilion HPE H8-1214 with 6 X AMD970 chipset of the motherboard Gigabyte M3970AM, 10 GB memeory with an AMD Radeon HD7450 graphics card. It works really well, with the exception of the video card, which is usually the pint of starter in over-the-counter computers. I bought a power supply 600W for extra power and PCI-E cable; the installation went well and the computer still works well.

    HOWEVER...

Bought and tried an AMD R7-260 at Best Buy, which is a compatible card PCI-E x 16. No love, died in the start screen.

Tried an AMD R5-240, still no love & dies to the start screen.

Tried a 690 Nvidia it (what is said HP IS compatible) - died still in the start screen.

Finally got a Nvidia 610 to run there, but it's not better than than the AMD Radeon HD 7450.

Is there something that I am missing? BIOS has been flashed to 7.16, it's all clean and works very well with the 7450. Suggestions, please and thank you!

You are welcome.  Thank you for the additional information.

HP makes a great computer.  Therefore, it does not surprise me that is to be reliable and durable.

Here's a video card made by MSI that has a switch that will allow him to work with legacy and UEFI BIOS' are.  The only problem is the length.  It is 9.84 "in length.  You can make a model of the size of the card to see if it will enter in the space provided for this purpose.  There's a video directly below the image of the map.  Paul of Newegg did a good job of describing the map.

  • Add video memory for Pavilion a410e

The max that I can choose is 64 MB, what is the difference between PCI and AGP video cards? It would be better for the HDTV display and work better with limited system memory? Thanks, Deb

Deb, AGP is a newer technology and is considerably faster than the PCI ports.  So I suggest an AGP video card.  Now, that being said, I am not sure how well the computer will run with an HDTV because HP supports only 1 GB of system memory.  Additionally, make sure that the power supply unit (PSU) has enough power to run the card you choose correctly.  You can check the wattage in opening the case and by reading the label on the power supply.  The minimum power requirements should be available on the manufacturer's website.

    Hello OldDog13,

If everything works well, then you have nothing to fear. What it sounds like trying to run, it's the HP graphic video control, which is part of the HP Support Assistant application.

Something interferes with the application to run correctly or HPSA might not be working properly at all.
    http://goo.GL/PRnB3

If HPSA does not, then we solve the whole application to see if we can solve the problem. Troubleshooting is simple because it is an uninstall / reinstall the application.

You must run other tests to see if any of the other tests has errors or if the graphics test is the only one who does not.

  • 2nd video device HP Pavilion-23-a304a-All-in-One Desktop PC E9V70AA

    Hello world

    I'm new to the forum. I just bought a HP Pavilion all-in-one 23-a304a Office P E9V70AA.

One thing that I forgot to check was I can plug in a laptop and use the HP as the DISPLAY monitor, sometimes I work from home and using the larger screen would be great, but I've noticed that there are no HDMI or other video ports on the desktop.

The thoughts and thanks in advance.

    Hello

It has not designed this way, you can not use it as a stand-alone monitor for your laptop.

    Kind regards.

  • Best video card for Pavilion p6 recommendation - 2040 has for balanced performance

    Pavilion P6 - 2040a Desk top. Windows 7 pro 64-bit. 8Gig of ram. NVIDIA GeForce GT 520 Direct X 9

I would like to know the best balanced video card that will compliment the APU used in my desktop pc Pavilion P6 - 2040 has.

    It is currently equipped with a Nvidia GT 520 graphics card, clearly a very basic card as the Windows partitions are only;

Graphics card: Desktop for Windows Aero 5.3 performance

The graphics of games; Business 3D & game performance 6.5

    The other partitions are;

    7.1 PROCESSOR

    7.4 RAM

    HD 7.8

I'm also surprised that, in light of the A8-3800 AMD APU which has the graphics card AMD Radeon HD 6550 integrated that a Radeon graphics card has not been used.

Bearing in mind the constraints of the nominal power of 300 watts what would be the best video card I can use it will complete the graphic part of the AMD APU and get a higher rating of Windows and I hope to use Direct X 11

    Thank you very much

    John G

I must say that I'm quite disappointed with this PC.

Unmatcheted RAM 4 and 2 gig from different suppliers.

I found myself buying little ram Corsair.

Memory locations only 2 and thus limited to 8 GB of ram

And now a pathetic videocard poorly matched to the APU and piddly 300 Watt power supply.

Never another product from HP... NEVER

This will be the most expensive way to buy a PC

Shame on you, HP and the glib and slick sales guy.

This machine is on eBay in recent weeks with no interest whatsoever, I'm not surprised and really angry at myself for having been cheated in this thing. Ahhhhhhhhhhh!

  • New video card for Pavilion p6565uk

Hi, the existing card in my HP Pavilion p6565uk desktoprunning Windows 7 (a Nividia GEForce GT230 with technology purevideo HD and 1.5 GB of memory dedictaed) started giving problems with its fan (now more heat and software stops working) I wish to update. I saw the GForce 630 2 GB DDR PCI express announced on Amazon and do not know if it is compatible.  I know that my office has a PSU of 300watts but don't know not what would be an appropriate updated map. The Nividia GeForce GT230 existing provided excellent service for what I use the computer for (some movie edition and normal household usage).

Please can you advise me to use a proper replacement card.

In the meantime, I have cleaned the fan and use the computer with the side panel off the coast for additional cooling.

    Thank you

    Hi Steve,.

Not all 300 Watt power supplies are created equal, and therefore the reason why for the non - OEM GT630 video card manufacturers require more able to provide (350 watts).

Open the PC and read the label on the power supply.  The amperage for the + 12v bus (rails) must be 20 amperes.  You can see two + 12v amperage if the power supply has two supply rails + 12v.

The PCI-E slot is rated at 75 watts and 630 GT is close to the maximum power.  It is a call to close, but if you are not hungry video applications, then you should be OK.  If you begin to experience strange system problems and then I go ahead and replace the power supply.

I normally consider to follow the recommendation of the manufacturer of the video card, but the GT630 is very close.
