Video playback Choppy/Glitchy on my Sony Vaio SVE14125CN

Hi people,

Return just the laptop two months.
My Config: 3rd generation core i3, 6gig ram graphics amd 1 gig card, win 8 64-bit.

The problem is that it is not able to play the video properly. Have you tried almost all media players available but video playback is jerky and glitychy. After almost every 20 minutes, the seeds of video with a buzzing sound for about 5 seconds. Even while buffering videos youtube and all this happens. This thing also goes for mp3s.

A lot, I searched the internet for the issue and in a post, I have a suggestion to install the latest version of inter rapid storage technology. I did this and the problem still persists.

Can I have some suggestions please. Anyone else having the same kind of problem?
Y at - it was a updated driver that I need to do or I need to restore it on any of the windows update please indicate.

In the hope of a quick and good response even more for a solution

Thank you
Ankit

    Hello @kiwifruit28,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I have read your message and understand that after updating the graphics driver, your spectrum HP 13 - 3004tu Ultrabook there are problems with the video playback. Here is a document to help solve this problem. Here is a link to HP hardware Diagnostics where you can test your hardware for portable computers. Alternatively, you can do a System Restore to a point before the end of the update of the graphics driver.

  • Video playback choppy when slow mo and speed

Every time I have slow down a section of a component or speed it up, playback becomes jerky and not smooth flowing. Get it fixed when I make it? If not, how to fix?

Also, when I'm trying to ride the 2 clips together to fade from one clip to another, for some reason, faded away after the first clip, and shuts down the second clip, the clip just becomes very low, then it goes black, then fades in. How can I fix it? This is how I did it:

I put the second clip above the first clip, then I set the first keyframe at the beginning of the 2nd clip then set opacity to 0. Then I put the second keyframe where I wanted to fade to be complete, then set opacity to 100. However, when I read, what is happening.

    I'm doing it wrong?

FYI, I use the latest version, the CS6.

    Thank you!

Dissolves... which is what this kind of transition is called--are pretty easy. Butt just two clips, making sure that every clip has a point 'in' which is a second or so in the video and a 'out' point one or two seconds before the end of the clip. The bits of a clip before and after points of entry/exit of the clip are called "handles".

Go to the video/Transitions effects, take dissolve it and drop it on the joint between the two clips. A fade in the other.

@OP - a problem I already see with what you have said is "tune up." A proper functioning of that Windows does not have a tune up and these applications only destroy the excellent work that Microsoft has done by making their operating systems. You'll be better off uninstalling applications like that.

Next best step: uninstall any antivirus in safe mode with 3rd party manufacturer tool. Reboot and install MSE to replace.

  • Choppy video playback in Windows Media Center (Windows 7) WTV

I recently experienced a video playback jerky with windows media center.  Sometimes the recorded TV (WTV format) play very well for about 2-3 minutes until the video playback is very jerky (probably about 5 to 10 frames per second instead of the usual 30-60 fps).  The audio is not again normally.  Windows Movie maker also plays choppy video (Windows Media Player seems to work very well).  The main menu of Windows Media Center, itself becomes generally restless slow when I'm scrolling autour options, even when there is no video game in the background.  Video streaming on the Internet and DVD seems to play fine on Windows Media Center, and I can even stream HD video without problem.  I also know that this isn't a problem receiving the TV tuner since I test with the video recorded previously.  I bought my computer in June 2009 with Windows Vista and upgrade to Windows 7 a few months later.  Everything worked perfectly well until recently.

I tried to update my video card drivers, reallocation of Windows Media Center to a task of "high priority" to improve performance, the RAM Cache to improve the performance, my graphics card setting to low quality setting to have superior performance to compensation.  I even tried to reinstall Windows Media Center, reinstall Windows Media Player and the restoration of my entire computer to a State a few months in the past where the problem was not intervened.  The memory usage seems OK too (I have 6 GB).  Basically, I don't think that the issue is performance related.  I'm guessing that there is some little conflict, pilot program, codec, etc., which is originally the video playback to go bad after a few minutes.  Any thoughts?

  • Sound does not, slow/choppy video playback. Reboot to fix.

I have a problem with my PC.  Don't know if a hardware error or system.  It is common during video playback.  Usually, he plays very well, but sometimes brutally, everything is in slow-mo with no sound. The only way to solve this is to restart the PC.  On most pages, it makes also has flash declined. Tried to stop all services and unnecessary processes, virus checks, updated windows and the latest video card drivers, card sound, etc.  Not sure how this can be fixed.  Extremely boring all playing a game and my sound dies.

    Hello
OK, this is the driver related or heat related.
    1. set to update your video and sound drivers restart and try again.

Look for the old drivers Device Manager and update

Drivers can become outdated and could be damaged to the point where they slow the system performance. Looking for the old drivers Device Manager, follow these steps:

Click Start, click Run, type the sysdm.cpl in the Open box, and then click OK.

Click the Hardware tab, and then click Device Manager.

Right click on the device, and then click Properties.

    Click the driver tab.

Compare the version of the driver on the tab, with driver version information on the latest version of the driver that is published on the website of the manufacturer.

To resolve problems that are caused by corrupted or outdated drivers, install the latest drivers:

Click Start, click Run, type the sysdm.cpl in the Open box, and then click OK.

Click the Hardware tab, and then click Device Manager.

Right click on the device, and then click Properties.

Click on the driver tab, then click on set to update driver.

Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the update of the driver.

    2. check the power of your computer, especially near the card... check video to make sure that this video card is not loose (if it is not a card on board)

  • Windows 7 64 bit, new facility - choppy video playback

I have a quad core Intel I7 HP laptop with 8 GB of RAM, 160 GB of free disk space. ATI Radeon 5600HD graphics card, the latest video drivers ATI, all updates for HP laptop, including the BIOS. The machine should be able to play videos and do a Skype video chat. But in both cases, the video is choppy and not really usable.

I've been to all updates installed, SP1 for Windows 7, the software I use, etc, etc, etc, so I can't go back to previous restore points, at least that would make a difference.

I just watched a WMV video that I downloaded (not heard), Channel 9, and it was awful to watch. The video stops but the sound would continue, finally all caught up. But then it would start all over again.

Video of Skype is similar, the video stops but the sound continues.

Given that I have the latest video drivers from ATI, and everything else comes from a new facility from 2 days ago. I'd appreciate any help to solve this problem.

    Thank you

All companies (Dell, HP, Acer, Toshiba etc.) put things on their systems.

Most of them pre-install programs such as Mcafee or Symantec / Norton. Both are hopeless and cause probs

And most likely have some sort of trial version. What is the point of having this. It runs

This is one of the reasons why I build my own desktop computers. I can put what I want on this subject, NOT what they think I need.

No wonder so many of them have probs. It's the stuff they install on it.

  • Re: Software for Sony Vaio

My father recently gave me his Sony Vaio VGC-LS25E and I am running WIndows 7 32 bit. I get an error message on my display driver.

"NVIDIA Compatible Windows Vista Kernel Mode Driver display driver, Version 167.43 not responding and has successfully recovered."

The computer crashes before I get this screen, it happens a few times a day and seems to get more long term.

    Help?

If you continue to have graphics drivers for your One VGC-LS25E desktop computer errors, all try first reinstall the graphics driver so you can get on the desktop.

    http://eSupport.Sony.com/us/Perl/SWU-do... 5 & os_id = 28

If you can't, try to run the [F8] safe mode at startup.
If it loads properly use msconfig and disable the start-up services and non-Microsoft and restart normally, and then install the driver.

If you are unable to enter Safemode try our hidden partition. Press [F10] to the POSITION immediately after the logo of VAIO appears. Once, it says to change the options to start just press on enter, if it loads you can reinstall the video driver from there.

If she gives you access to the rescue partition and you have exhausted all other measures, data rescue are there to help you back up your important files. Perform a C drive recovery to wipe the system back to the original factory specifications.
