Video yoga 13

Upgrade to Win8.1. Audio seems to work very well. Video does not work:

No netflix

Without YouTube

Most crash of games at launch.

No one tried Intel drivers of non - OEM for the jury? I know not upgraded to get used them to screw up the drivers for the USB docking station, that's why I haven't been back, but they just released a Win8.1 driver for the USB dock and I can verify that it works.

Well, I seemed to have fixed my post 13 of Yoga Win8.1 upgrade problems. I noticed that some of the problems with the audio and graphics actually appear to be associated with DRM. Finally my problems in this sequence, although I'm quite sure why it works, but I have a few guess (i.e. solutions of DRM shit):

(1) delete the folder "integrated graphics card drivers" under c:\drivers completely (I noticed mixed version 9 components and 10 of Intel Graphics HD 4000 drivers were in this folder after the update 8.1 Win, for some reason, which is a sign that something has been automatically downloaded and upgraded during the update that does not quite right).

(2) to downgrade the graphics drivers with drivers from Lenovo site (windows 8.1 upgrade automatically updates the driver of version 9 to version 10).

(3) install the update proposed via Windows update "Intel Graphics WDDM" (this includes the update of version 10, but for some reason that's not just the graphics driver update windows update suggested previously).

(4) re - install the Conexant drivers from Lenovo site (at this point, the video worked in many applications but no audio).

(5) reinstall the Realtek Bluetooth/WIFI cards (I noticed after the final update Netflix and SteamPlay kept complaining about "network problems", but he seemed to really be associated with their DRM systems).

Now everything works in point 8.1 of Windows as it works in Windows 8.0, and a few things work were not work before. So, hope that helps someone.

  • How to increase the video memory on the 900 yoga?

Hello just curious if anyone knows how I can increase the video memory on my new yoga 900. I looked at the bios screen, and I don't see an option to change it. Thanks in advance.

Good day and welcome to the community.

The amount of memory used by the integrated video controller depends on the total system memory, and is controlled system (vs user).

    Hope this helps to clarify.

    Kind regards.

I have heard and read that the 900 yoga can do using the USB Type-C port paired with a video output adapter. Is the only way to output video to another device? The laptop would not be out video via USB 3.0 if I have a USB to HDMI adapter?

No, it isn't the only way. The 900 Yoga supports poster wireless connections as well to. It should also support a USB HDMI adapter.

I have a Lenovo USB 3.0 adapter DVI, and that works very well with the 900 yoga.

  • Installing drivers Lenovo no? Yoga 2 Pro - video drivers for DX 11 games

So, I use a Yoga 2 Pro. I love this laptop / Tablet what you want to call it, but the biggest problem I always seem to have is related to video games. I realize this isn't a game system, but it would be nice to play some.

The game I'm most interested in playing is civilaztion 5. CIV 5 joined in the tactile controls game great and works great as a game of Tablet. However, because screen super high resolution of the Yoga 2 Pro, I am unable to run the game in full resolution. The best compromise is 1600 x 900. The issue is that launch the game with the forces of active controls touch game live x 11 mode. Direct X 11 mode, running at a resolution not standard messes with scaling of display. So I find myself with a small box centered in the middle of the screen surrounded by black bars, instead of the lowest resolution, the scale of the display.

There is a work around, which is to introduce the resolution 1920 x 1080 via the Panel of control intel everything first before running the game, but it is a pain.

This seems to be a driver problem, but lenovo does not seem to care never update of drivers as the latest drivers that seem to all come from October or November. I tried to install the intel drivers directly from Intel (which should work fine), but lenovo clearly has some block put in place to prevent the installation of unauthorized drivers.

So if anyone knows a solution to my problem or a way to install these drivers, that would be great, thanks!

Go to Device Manager, display driver and from there uninstall the driver currently installed. You will then be able to install the new Intel display driver. :-)

May need to restart before and after...

Not sure if the latest drivers will solve the problem you have.

It is not a problem to switch to a different resolution, it of just a few clicks, but to change the scale display so requires you to close the session, which is a chore. If the game does not need to change the display scale you use a resolution of 3200 x 1800 so you can just temporarily change resolution each time you play the game...

  • Yoga 2 Pro stutters when you play videos

    Hey guys,.

I was wondering if anyone else has this probem stuttering when I look at videons on the yoga 2 pro? I configuring i5/256/8 GB of ram, but really, watch videos should not be a problem for the configuration even lower?

    Any help would be appreciated.

It was just a normal 480 resolution on youtube video. He had nothing to do with the settings manager energy wasn't endurance mode, cause I just use my laptop under normal parameters. Actually, I found another thread where the guy had the same problem, and fixed it by increasing the size of virtual memory file / page. I followed his instructions, and it seemed to have done the trick. Interestingly, the virtual memory is supposed to be 1 or 1.5 times your ram, but my virtual memory file size / page is only 1 GB from my 8gbs of ram. Maybe it has something to do with the lozenges of limitation, who knows! The solution/thread I found is here: http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Idea-Windows-based-Tablets-and/Yoga-2-Pro-HD-playback-freezes-other-appl... I hope this helps someone out there.

  • video choppy when CLA was overthrown around 13 Lenovo's Yoga with windows 8.1

Since the update to Windows 8.1 when I watch videos if it is a local video or streaming from YouTube, the video is jerky extremelly when the keyboard is reversed around.

I read something on stop the runswusb service, but I can't find it anywhere.

    How can I solve this?

    Thanks in advance.

    1. I disabled DPTF in the BIOS (press the Novo pen when the PC is turned off). Which disables the thermal management of aggressive Intel who clocks the descent of processor when you fold the keyboard. It is not necessary, I watched two movies on netflix in a row with no real noticeable heating, after that and the following changes.

    2. turn off the Lenovo Transition to starting on the Task Manager or uninstall it. He chews CPU to mark for a dock that does not cling to the Yoga.

3 turn off yogaserver.exe in the Task Manager.

    4. keep the Lenovo Energy Management installed.

I increased the battery, video stringers in tablet mode and without apparent loss of usability.

I don't think that runSW.exe has nothing to do with this problem.

  • IdeaPad Yoga 13 + 0A 33970 ThinkPad USB 3.0 Dock Station + Windows 10 = no video output?

All connected to the dock station seems to work fine except for the video output, which does not appear.

Used to work fine under Win 8.1 but decided to move to Win10 yesterday... ugh.

I tried to update on the latest software/drivers from DisplayLink and the tray icon says 'No DisplayLink devices detected'.

    Someone at - it advice?

    Finally he got to work!
You had to use the heavy duty removal tool displaylink, unplug the displaylink to prevent resettlement (the instructions don't tell you this!), and then install the latest driver of Lenovo, then reconnect and let it complete the installation. Phew!

  • Yoga 910 4K video output

    Hello

I'm still getting used to this new thing with external monitors connected by USB type C. I'm having trouble finding information, even from Lenovo. Today I tried to connect via HDMI to an external monitor, using an adapter (female male HDMI/USBC) but it did not work. I got an error message saying: I tried to use DisplayPort but that it did not work, perhaps because of the cable. Indeed, it is an HDMI cable, but I was hoping that it works. Does that mean so I can never connect via HDMI to anything? I always go for a DisplayPort connection?

My goal is to use an external monitor in 4K at 60 Hz. types of connection to an external monitor would be a good start. Gosh, all these adapters and connectors of our days...

    See you soon!

It seems that the problem has disappeared when I found the video card on the right. The best is to use a male USB - C with DisplayPort cable and connect the screen directly. Any HDMI connection seems to give only 30 Hz. thank you in any case!

  • Playback on YouTube and other video players controls are tiny

I am running Windows 8.1 on a Lenovo Yoga Pro 2 (high resolution). I think that it's originally the play/pause, volume, full screen, buttons etc. in YouTube and other video streaming of players to be really too small.

In addition, Flash games only filling in the upper left corner of the area that they should. Sometimes, this can be corrected by right-clicking and clicking on zoom, but this option is not always there, and YouTube does not have this option, either.

I read something on the Internet about disabling HiDPI in the comments: page config to fix this, but this option seems to have been deleted.

Any ideas how to solve this problem? Thank you.

Yes, you can file a report on Bugzilla: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/

The form is simple enough and you probably a few cc follow-up questions would happen to you by e-mail. I will quote the variations that you have tried, such as hardware acceleration on or off, same result. Zoom effect of the page, the effect of changing the device/pixels.

  • Tablet Lenovo Yoga 3. How to change default storage for ext SD map

    Hi team,

I brought a new Tablet from Lenovo Yoga 3 (2 GB ram, 16 GB of internal storage)

I inserted my memory card and its full display available.

I couldn't find an option to set the default storage.

    Help, please.

    Thanks in advance

    Reach:

    Settings / storage

At the top you should have 'writing on the disk by default'. Simply select SD card.

By default, Apps will always be installed on internal memory. Those data can be moved, go on:

    Settings / applications

Select 'manage applications '. Go to the SD card tab. Everything that can be moved will be listed here. You must select each App (one at a time). On the next screen, there is a box that says "move to SD card". Press on & wait.

Other issues such as the media (music, videos) - depending on the application being used, you can record directly to SD card or use a file manager and manually move (cut / paste or ' move to ')
