  (a) don't you get any specific error message when you play the video?

  (b) what is the file format of the resulting video file after editing by using the video editing software?

  (c) you are able to play the files on the computer? You hear the sound?

  I suggest you try the following steps:

  O make sure that windows MediaPlayer is not muted, press F7 on the keyboard to turn the sound back on.

  Ø check if the volume is at a minimum in Media Player, press F9 on the keyboard to increase the volume.

  Verify that the default audio device is correctly set

  1. click on start, type Sound in the box to start the search.

  2. click on sound in the results of search at the top of the start menu.

  3. click on the tab reading notice the check mark next to the default device. For most users, the default device is speakers. Make sure that the audio settings are configured as expected. Follow these steps:

  4. on the playback tab, select the playback device, click Properties, click the Advanced tab and make sure that the default Format is set to the value you expect. When you are finished, close this window to return to the previous window.

  5. on the playback tab, select the playback device, click on configure and make sure that the configurations are set correctly.

  6. If the sound settings are well positioned, you are using speakers as the audio device and your speakers are already set as the default device, go to method 5 now.

  7. Select the audio device you want as the default audio device and then click on set as default.

  8. click OK to save your settings and close the sound dialog box.

  Now, check if the problem is resolved.

• Audio from Mail will not play on the lock since 9.2 screen!

  This is verified a discussion with an expert on the AppleCare, last night and it of a real disappointment for me and people like me who get a lot of attachments audio (mp3 etc) and should consult with them on the go. Used to be that if you open an audio file as an attachment to an email in Mail (up to iOS 9.1) and start playing, then lock your screen, the audio continues to play without interruption, and more you can use the commands to switch the lock on that screen the sound signal. Now, when you lock your screen in iOS 9.2, the sound just stops! Yay for promotion! In addition, when you switch from mail to say, Safari, the sound stops too. Apparently the iOS does not recognize Mail as a background audio source. It is a GREAT DISAPPOINTMENT and really needs to be fixed as soon as POSSIBLE.

  Anyway, just to say that if you rely on this feature, please do not update to 9.2. I really wish I didn't.

  Thank you for the HRT, thought it was just me. Even disbarred icloud drive because of this, but now I see that apple really messed that one up.

  I have problems to import video files captured with final cut Pro HD. When I'm on the side of the PC and use after effects CS 5.1. And when I try to import the files into the project area I get this error. After that error effects five impossible to import the movie file is damaged or not supported.

  TimeRemapper said. Many of the CoDecs of the FCP do not exist in native mode for PC and these files cannot be used on PC at all or only with restrictions. You will need to know exactly which CoDec and then go hunting for a conversion on PC side tool or a converted clip of someone with a Mac and FCP...

  Licensing - in particular for fonts - is always a big pain - and even if you have a lawyer paid handsomely on the case, it is always a challenge to navigate in all licenses of the difference and the different situations.

  In reality, the chances of trouble to use a font Adobe provides as part of the suite Creative Cloud is little or none - even if it's TECHNICALLY in a kind of fine print.

  However if you are doing a project where you must provide tangible evidence that everything is legally more High Council (which you have to do a lot of time for projects that are funded for example the Government), then things can become difficult.

  In the case of Myriad Pro - even though the creative cloud agreement specifically lists the fonts in the list of the restricted fonts - you can always register Myriad Pro through Adobe's Typekit service (see: Myriad Pro |) Typekit) so that circumvents this problem.
