• HP Mini 1000MiE tranfer files - net usershare returned error 255

  My mini was just delivered. So I try to transfer files from my old Dell Latitude on Ubuntu to the Mini on a Netgear wireless router

  I put the files on the Dell to share. But the Mini does'nt find them well that he does not see a corresponding to the Dell printer Windows workgroup.

  The Mini does none of the files in the working group.

  When I tried to go the otherway to see if the Dell could see files shared on the Mini. I received a request to install 'actions' on the Mini and now when I try to share a file this error message.

  'net usershare' returned error 255: net usershare: cannot open/var/lib/samba/usershares usershare directory. Error Permission denied

  Transfer files between linux machines using a program called ssh. I found information on the web. It was not very difficult.

  Never got the two machines to connect using the shared windows resources, now I don't have to.

  Error 255 was a matter of a box under 'users' to allow file sharing.

  I also found the command line terminal hidden but available.

  Had a difficult start with the crumb of the Mini, but I am more familiar with linux OS crumbs now.

  I am running Vista 32 bit Business since an administrator account.

  Recently, I noticed that the automatic updates did not install it and returned error 80070005.   After investigation, I found that I could not open mmc at all and always get the message "this function no is not supported on this system.  No major changes have been made to the configuration to trigger it and I can't watch the event log because it is in the MMC.
  I have studied this question in line and tool the following actions, which none worked:
  carried out a complete antivirus scan (I use Commodo internet security)
  created another account administrator
  has run SFC (no problem)
  has run the registry cleaner (no problem)
  has run msconfig.exe and disabled all the startup process
  updated windows right click and run as administrator
  Started in safe mode and tried all above
  After that, I don't know where to go... it doesn't seem to be a download for Windows vista to reinstall mmc.
  I have about 50 updates critical, sitting in my windows update that can not install because of this problem.  Can anyone help?

  First, I would check since it is professional Vista was that computer on a field of work or it was already on an area of work? There may be group policies that are in place that prevent to run MMC.

  When did start to happening? Is there anything new on the system which has been introduced into the environment (software, hardware)?

  If you receive Windows Update error 80073712 0 x or 80073712, it means that a file needed by Windows Update is corrupted or missing. Windows has tools that can help you solve this problem of troubleshooting. I would suggest trying the following methods and check if the problem persists.

  Method 1: Run the Windows Update Troubleshooter

  • Run the Windows Update utility, then open Windows Update and try installing the update again.

  1. Enter in the right edge of the screen and then click on search.

  Question is is that I created a folder for the project of jdev. Created file's readme default text in it.

  Causing the problem while deploying the application

  Once, I deleted all the readme .txt file in default the entire file. Problem solved.

  I work with IVI VISA PXI plug in modules OR (defined by IVI-6, 3). Almost all of its functionality works perfectly - like module list, attributes and access the memory space, etc... The only problem I got is interruptions. 'PpiEnableInterrupts (__in PpiHandle handle, __in ViUInt16 queueLength)' returns 0xbfff0083 'specified length is invalid error code. " I tried with different values of queueLength... or actually, I did a sweep from 0 to 1024. in all cases, the same error status is returned.

  The material I work with is the following:
  * Chassis: NOR SMU-1071
  * Module system: Ni-SMU-8360
  * Module that I work with the help of the plugin: OR PXI - 6509 (DIO)

  Versions of the software:
  * OR VISA: 5.4
  * NI PXI Platform Services: 4.0
  IVI VISA PXI of the NOR plugin (NiViPpiP.dll & NiViPpiD.dll): 5.4.0.49152

  I know that PXI-6509 generates interrupts...

  Any ideas why PpiEnableInterrupts does not work? Maybe its because the module is PXI SMU not?

  I searched our resources to see if we have a better explanation for this error. What I've found, is that it is especially caused by the configuration of the interrupt functionality error.

  There is a section that says:
  Tip: If you write an instrument driver, let generates interrupts disabled during the initial development phase, even if you plan to implement of the interruptions. It is often useful get the basic functionality of driver before trying to add support for the interruption of work. Interrupt management can be added to the. INF file by running the wizard VISA Driver Development again.

  I suggest that you open VISA Driver Development Wizard and reconfigure the interruptions component generates. It is possible that it is not properly set / and / or not allowed at all.

  It seems that as the value default serverperfmode = 1 is not defined, so rather than be serverperfmode = 0 it literally does not exist.

  You get the error message is compatible I think not having any boot-args fixed at all. I get this on my OS X Servers as well. I however get the following on my OS X clients.

  mbasd Boot-args = 1

  It's what I expected in our case, the above enables the Apple SuperDrive USB support and is an option that I enabled on all of our customers in the imaging process that I use.

  According to its wording I also interpreted as a confirmation that the default is that the performance mode is not enabled.

  Looks like you post your queue in the sub vi when it ends (destroy force is set to TRUE so it destroys the queue, not only the reference to the queue)

  I tested it by putting a hell structure diagram around the queue of the vi in the sub vi version and it works now without raising an error.

  Setting Force destroy false so that it destroys only a single reference to the queue.

  Overview:

  I do a configuration dialog box where the user can select which tasks available (from MAX) and the channels that it wants to use for the configuration. I have display them in a tree control with a background of different color for elements line depending on if they are used, not used, or the device is not connected.

  Question:

  In the attached extract you can see that I get all the tasks available and channels. If my device that is linked, the task is not connected to my PC at the start of the program and I press refresh I get an error. Well, this is what I want. However, if my device is not connected at the start of the program, and then I connect and press refresh, it rest-error. Same goes for the opposite--if I have the device connected at startup then unplug and press refresh, there is no error. It is a pain because I would be as the user should be able to connect if they forgot their device, then press r and have everything be updated accordingly. However, it seems that this is not possible, unless they stop and restart the program.

  These property nodes DAQmx search only a specific device and channels at startup, rather than at run time? Can anyone think of a work around? Also, can someone reproduce it so I can check that is not just "error of the programmer".

  DAQmx control i/o tasks can be one of three things:

  1. A task object DAQmx. It is a collection of data structures representing the task, channels and task status. He lives in the process of LabVIEW (or whatever method is calling in the DAQmx API).
