View 3 loop of update 3

I have an older Dell laptop which is running Vista.  He's stuck in the 3 of 3 loop of update.  I see the posts from 2009.  My computer does not have this problem until this month.  I don't think that I have set up an administrator password.  I don't have my Vista disks.  Local computer shop says that they can fix it for $125.  Is this in any way about this?  It was running great until this happened.  Thank you

    Hi royfos,

Do you have a code error message when you try to run the system restore?

Check if you can get into safe mode. If you manage to get into safe mode, then you can run the restore of the system from there. Otherwise, another option is to perform the Startup Repair.

    Method 1: Troubleshooting Safe Mode

Step 1: Start the computer in safe mode

Safe mode is an option of troubleshooting for Windows that starts your computer with only basic services and features.

To get into safe mode, check out this help article: , start your computer in safe mode

    Step 2: Run system restore

For complete help, see this article:System Restore: frequently asked questions

Note: If you use system restore when the computer is in safe mode, you can not undo the restore operation. However, you can run System Restore again and choose a different restore point if any.

    Method 2: Startup Repair

Startup Repair is a Windows Vista recovery tool analysis of missing or damaged system files that may prevent Windows from starting correctly. Run it and see if that fixes the boot problem.

  • Error message: "the site has encountered a problem and cannot display the page you are trying to view", while running Windows updates.

Original title: Windows updates works do not, cannot get windows updates

I had to reinstall Windows XP service pack 2. I went to the updates and got this message. The website has encountered a problem and can not display the page that you are trying to view  I tried several times and got the same results.

The problem is that you need to install Service Pack 3 before being able to get all post-SP3 updates. :-)

Here's what you need to do:
    Preliminary work:

Download the installation files of SP3, IE8 and Microsoft Security Essentials, which is an effective antivirus/antimalware program. I prefer to keep these (and other useful files) on a USB key, but this is optional. Here are the links to all the installation of three files:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?ID=24 (for SP3)

(You can TOTALLY ignore the message "intended for it professionals"!)

    http://www.Microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&ID=43 (for IE8)

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/products/security-essentials (for MMS)

    1. physically disconnect from the Internet. Also unplug all unnecessary devices!

    2. temporarily disable the automatic updates. To do this:

Start | Control Panel (switch to Classic view if not already selected). Automatic updates

Select "Turn off automatic updates" and click OK.

    3. install the SP3. Restart TWICE.

    4. switch to IE8. Restart TWICE. (Note: it is important to let IE at the level before the upgrade to SP3 IE6.) After you are in SP3, then you can switch IE6 to IE8).

    5 install MSE.

(What happens very often is that someone has their software antivirus running as they try to install SP3, which often translates into chaos! "This is why it must be done after installing SP3 and IE).

    6. make sure that firewall Windows is activated (it should already be):

Start | Control Panel | Security Center

(Now you can physically reconnect to the Internet. Update Antivirus program.)

    7. visit Windows Update to download and install only the critical security updates. Restart each time you are prompted.

    8. reactivate the automatic updates.

I decided to look for updates of windows; He said that they were controlled by "your system administrator" (it's me, btw). Finally managed to join the domain and restarted.

And now, it's in this loop of reboot without end. boots gets windows logo and flag, then flashed:

  • Trigger loops and update field based on sysdate

    Hi people:

I have a trigger that can update an inactive ('STATUS') field when a vaccine is after expiry date ("matching").

This is the current structure of the table:

    CREATE TABLE WAREHOUSE. () VACCINE_INVENTORY

VACCINE VARCHAR2 (200 BYTE) NOT NULL,

    RECEIPT_DATE DATE NOT NULL,

    CONTAINER_SIZE VARCHAR2 (200 BYTE),

    QUANTITY NUMBER (6, 0),

    NUMBER OF REQUISITION (6, 0),

    NUMBER OF FISCAL_YEAR (4, 0),

    RECEIVED_BY VARCHAR2 (50 BYTE),

    DATE OF CORRESPONDENTS,

    LOT_NUMBER VARCHAR2 (30 BYTE) NOT NULL,

VARCHAR2 (200 BYTE) OF THE SELLER,

    STATUS VARCHAR2 (10 BYTE),

    NUMBER OF CATALOG_NUMBER (5, 0),

CONSTRAINT PK_VACC PRIMARY KEY (VACCINE, RECEIPT_DATE, LOT_NUMBER) USING INDEX TABLESPACE STORAGE WAREHOUSE

So the idea is that if SYSDATE > correspondents the expiration date should be changed from active to inactive.

I guess I would need to create a loop so that when the trigger is executed, it will make a loop on all records in the table and set each vaccine expired to Inactive.

    I'd appreciate some help...

    Thank you

    Matthew

Another alternative is to simply have a SQL statement that runs once a day:

    UPDATE warehouse.vaccine_inventory

    SET status = 'inactive '.

    WHERE the correspondents<>

    AND status = 'Active';

  • Hierarchy Viewer does not get updates

I have a hierarchy Viewer in my application. Say that it is a tree of the hierarchy of the employee-Manager. I perform operations Add, Remove-employee, employee-Move on this hierarchy Viewer. Its operation is, say I want to perform the delete operation, I select the node in the hierarchy Viewer, click the button remove on top and it performs the delete operation and the hierarchy Viewer partialUpdate. It happens after have delete/move/add, hierarchy Viewer always displays the old data, that is, even if I delete the node, it always appears when I update the viewer of the hierarchy (hv).

I also made clearCache() hv and VO that I use. I even tried to re - run the query, but has not helped. ADF does any kind of caching? If so, what should I do to find new data updated?

    PS: I use 11g

    Hello

I think that the cache of the VO is not updated with changes in DB. For this reason, the user interface component shows the lines of old.

To synchronize the VO with DB cache after validation, follow these steps:

    1. in the model layer, open the request module assigned to the VO.

    2. Select the tab 'source' from the application module.

3 inside of the tag "AppModule", add the following attribute:

    ClearCacheOnCommit = 'true '.
