View files on CRIO

Hello

I've been using the RT file write text found in the following link. This shows how to read and write to a file on the cRIO text and what I want to do is to check that the file is created and that the appropriate data is stored. How would I go about displaying files on the cRIO? I been searching using the NI Configuration Web-based and followed, but I'm having issues with this. If someone can give me some help it would be great.

So far, I've lived Max, clicked on the NOR-RIO and added the developer's computer in the remote device access. Also in the project window, I added the same IP address in the server of VI in the project window and clicked the remote control server activate under the Web server.

I also have a question about what happens to stop data?

Hello

don't forget, you can navigate to a file on your RT remote system by opening a Windows Explorer and typing FTP://ipaddres

It work?

This is an example how to read and write to a text file:

Read and write in the text file to Compact RIO RIO or single board

  • Download and view files PDF IOS 9.2

Since downloading the iOS 9.2 update, I've noticed that I'm unable to download and view pdf files. I tried my account on my phone of colleagues (running iOS 9.1) that does it without problem. The server is the Exchange 2003 server. Has anyone else seen elsewhere? Anyone know a fix?

We are having the same problem with some PDFs on Exchange 2003. The workaround of Acrobat to download the full message and press open in the player does not work. One or more of the following actions occurs:

    • The PDF file is as is the download (circle progresses / completes)
    • Tapping/long-press the PDF icon does nothing
    • The error "cannot download the attachment"

  • With CVI to transfer files to cRIO 9066

    Hello

I'm trying to copy files to a directory on a cRIO 9066.

The method I use is to map a drive in Windows 7 and I want to copy the files with the CopyFile function in CVI.

The reader is defined as \\ni-crio-9066-030c6bf1.local\files (I also tried http://ni-crio-9066-030c6bf1.local \files).

With this method I can transfer files on this disc with the CopyFile function, but the transfer rate is extremely slow.

For a 300 KB file, it will take about 25-30 years.

During this time, my request is breaking, there is no more values in the controls or the UIRs until the copy is complete.

I tried to disable 'Automatically detect settings' in Internet Explorer in tools > Internet options > LAN settings > connections as I've seen in a knowledge base (http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/4EBE45E8A816B19386257B6C0071D025).

The copy is much more rapid 1-1, 5 sec but I have a few failures of transfer. Windows told me that the transfer failed in a popup, the file in the cRIO is a file of 0ko (and CopyFile returns an error).

In the knowledge base, they warn about the failures of transfer but I was hoping to get an error code in the CopyFile function.

I also tried to run cmd.exe copy 'name of the source file' 'target file name' with LaunchExecutableEx but I got the same results.

I'm in a dead end for now.

Do you have any idea how I can transfer files between CVI and the cRIO?

PS: I tried the WebDAV protocol in Labview and it seems fine with that (good transfer rate and no failure of transfer). But I did find this library in CVI.

    Thank you for your help.

I'm sorry for my late reply.

I managed to send files in the cRIO 9066 via FTP.

I installed 'Legacy FTP Server' on the cRIO and I used the FTP API in CVI (proposed on the french forum and by the regulation).

    This solution works very well.

I didn't want to use an external if possible API so I chose the FTP solution.

  • GET the file of cRIO using WebDAV - error (363510)

    Hi all

Hoping for a little help with an error I can't cross. I am trying to get a file off my cRIO and onto my PC using the webDAV Protocol. I know there are other ways to do this, but really, Ide like to this way of working. I am sure that this is not a problem with my path of the file. The error says "Error writing to the socket" which makes me think maybe Windows prevents LabView to write the file on my local computer? I tried using the HTTPS protocol on port 443 so with the same result. One thing I am suspicious of is that I am connected directly to my cRIO on my secondary ethernet card and windows it is considering a "public network". I can't change that, but I have disabled the windows firewall, thinking that perhaps that had something to do with it.

    Thank you

    Corey

I got it to work. Turns out that "local file path" needs the full path, including the name of the file that will be written. This is in contradiction with the help file for the VI GET of WebDAV. The help file says that simply give the path of the directory that is written to the file.

  • How to remove the data files of cRIO

Please forgive my ignorance, but I don't see how to remove the old a cRIO data files.  I tried to get a functional data logger, and I have some old files of data on the cRIO.  I ftp copies files through IE, but I don't know how to delete the files from the cRIO.

If you FTP via Windows Explorer, my computer, ftp://adresse IP in the address bar, you should be able to delete the files.

  • Viewer files TDMS file not found

The VI I use currently is a slight modification of the example ContAcq & GraphVolt.  I've recently updated to LabVIEW 2009, and my Viewer TDMS open more TDMS files I record.  The files are there and I can open them using the example of ReadTDMS VI, but the viewer in my block diagram gives me 7 error: file not found.  There is a caveat, however.  If I save on a file that I had previously created, the file is located in the Viewer.  So if I save the file test1.tdms, the first time, it displays an error found the file, but the second time I save the viewer test1.tdms the file is located.  Any ideas as to why this is happening?

Since my VI is close enough to the ContAcq & GraphVolt example (which does not work at the moment), this VI troubleshooting to solve my problem.

    Hello

The extension Flac (Free Lossless Audio Codec) isn't a type of supported Windows Media Player file. However, you can use your favorite search engine to find an application that can convert the file to a supported by the Windows Media Player file type.

  • How to view files (photos) I clicked on hide in picasa

I wanted to hide some photos in picasa duplicate, but all disappeared and I can't have their backs .can someone help me

    Hello

    http://support.Google.com/Picasa/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=19525

    Hide and show pictures

Hidden pictures are files you have chosen to hide the view in the Picasa library. This does not affect the ability to view the photos on your hard drive. Below are instructions on how to hide and show photos in Picasa:

    Hide pictures

    1. Select the photos that you want to hide.
    2. Click on the menu pictures .
    3. Select hide.

You can also click the right-click (Windows) or Ctrl-click (Mac) any of the selected photos in the library and select hide.

    View photos

    1. Click on the menu display .
    2. Select hidden Pictures. Your hidden pictures will now appear, but they will be translucent.
    3. Select the photos that you want to display.
    4. Click on the menu display .
    5. Select Show.

You can also click the right-click (Windows) or Ctrl-click (Mac) any of the selected photos and select view from the menu. Now selected photos appears again in your normal library view.

You can select to hide or display images in a folder or album at a time.

    See you soon.

  • Problems when viewing files in the 'My Documents' window

When I look at the files and folders in the My Documents window (in mode ' list') there is a wide space between the columns of information - I can barely hold two columns of names of files on my computer screen even if I do the window the maximum width.  It is a new problem - I used to be able to view the columns 3 or 4 names of files before.  My OS is Windows XP. Can you tell me how to reduce the space between the columns of information?  Thank you.

Thanks for your reply "Tricky", unfortunately it doesn't work in "List" mode, and it is has no column headers.

    Apologies,

I've been guilty of reading what I thought I only saw what I saw in fact.

The only thing I know to which increases the width of the columns in the list view is the size of the names appearing in this column, they are files or folders. Check the lengths of file/folder name by renaming them, there might be some characters non-display, resizing of the window in the vertical direction might help identify the sections where the long name exists (if indeed that is the problem).
