  To get the orange FF tab, go to view > toolbars > menu bar. This should uncheck the menu bar giving you the orange button.

  Hi milman2000, your description of "now I have to keep right clicking and pointing to open several windows" sounds like what I see with any pinned application that has more than one window open.

  For me, Windows 7, a simple left click on a pinned shortcut has these effects:

  • No no open windows: launch the application
  • An open window: activate the application window
  • More than an open window: view a list of windows

  Prior to Windows 7, I've used XP and the shortcut of Firefox in the "Quick launch" area of the taskbar Windows XP was a button that I can use again and again to launch new windows.

  In Firefox 33, the size of the thumbnails and margins have changed. Users with a higher level of basic zoom cannot see all 9 of their thumbnails. Try to reduce the zoom level (hold down the Ctrl key and press the key once or twice) to bring them all to view.

  Firefox expected to retain this new level, but if not, or if this is the search bar too small, you can use a custom style rule or an add-on to set the calibration. (I need to dig up the link to a previous thread).

  I don't allow Safari save my passwords. I used to use the last pass but now Dashlane which is similar. Both work without Safari save passwords. You can go to settings > Safari > AutoFill and Tower 'Names and passwords' and then disable all passwords he saved.

  Press the Alt key to display the menu bar, then go to view-> sidebar-> bookmarks (keyboard shortcut: Ctrl + B). This will give you a sign on the left with all of your bookmarks in, similar to the pin board Favorites in Internet Explorer.

  If you want GMail to appear each time you open Firefox, go first to your Inbox, then drag the gmail to your Home button icon. (Alternatively, you can use the method described for several items: Options-> general-> using the current Page, and when Firefox starts: show my home page.)

  I suggest you to bookmark the 4 tabs which must be pinned so you can recall as a group at any time. The fifth tab would be your homepage according to my understanding. You may have to precede the numbers to the name so sorting will not affect the order (or use bookmark separators).

• With Citrix Viewer PIV card woes

  I wonder if someone got their PIV smart cards to work reliably for remote access to the computer account business their Department of Veterans using the Citrix Viewer.

  PKard software of smart card 'middleware '.

  Citrix 12.0.0 Viewer

  After several hours of tech support calls that I was finally able to open a remote session with my card PIV and pine, but when the Citrix time out-it Viewer window wonder my PIN three times then crashes.  I get a "Safari cannot find the server...". "message.  If I open apps I can continue working, but if I close them, I can't usually reopen in one.  I tried closing the window closing Safari and restart Safari and even by restarting the computer and generally still cannot reconnect.  If I wait a few hours or all night, I might be able to connect.

  Someone at - it had a similar problem and found a fix?

  Before posting my thread, I did a search and found your up to what later for some reason any.  I think we treat both the same crazy problem and I was wondering if you have found something to use with your Mac of a PIV card system?

  Ive read there are others using "CAC cards" via Mac, but why no PIV use? And why is there not a software to allow the reader to car Gov be approved for the purpose of the use of our Badges to connect?  Do you use also pass mobile OTP Token to connect via CAG?  UGH!
