  On my Mac Book Pro El Capitan 10.11.4 running, I got this pop-up warning. A Web site you already visited today has infected your Mac with a virus. A complete analysis of the system is now needed to find and remove applications or harmful files from your OS X. Is this true? I scanned with Malwarebytes and it found nothing.  The warning showed the device information: brand: Apple Macbook Pro camera; Safari 9; an IP address; the ISP; Location of the State in the United States.  Thanks for your help

  I was trying to go to a website and instead of receiving a box that had a Safari logo warning me that I visited just a site that has downloaded a virus on my MAC and asking me to click on the button to start a repair. It froze my computer. I did a force quit Safari and restarted. The warning came again and froze things. I clicked on "Startup Repair" and got another box demanding that I have run the repair. I closed and received a warning that all my personal stuff was in jeopardy. Is this true or I get hacked?

  Hey guys,.

  Earlier this week we received a warning when you go to our site saying Web company

  Trojan JS/TrojanDownloader.Agent.NRL

  It was not all changes made to the site in a long time and we have never seen this before, any ideas what could happen. When I did a quick search I saw that this virus had to face what we call flashchat, but I do not use it and had never heard of him before. Could I have coding that is is under the flag or something similar.

  My guess is that someone running avast av will see it.  I don't know if it's a warning wrong or not, but even if this is the case, you have a problem with your avast users until avast corrects the error.

• False Virus Warning?

  I received a "phone (land line) of a person puporting to be from Microsoft and telling me that a new virus had appeared." It was an Indian or Pakistani accent that I could barely understand. The main thing is that I should get on my computer and they would talk me through removing. I explained to him that my computer was just two months, plus I had the latest McAFEE Anti virus software loaded up, but he kept insisting that McAFEE has been usless against this virus and that he should be able to speak to me through the removal of the virus. My PC is working normally and if my PC already has a factory installed on the program to activate the virus removel, then why would I need Mc MCAFEE or any other anti-virus software? It says NOTHING to go to the Microsoft web site to download updates or anything like that, in any case, after a few line seemed to go dead and nobody rang me back. Do you know such a virus or do you think it was a scam to take control of my Pc?

  I received the following message from our web filter when you download a utility to update the BIOS for my Lenovo X 61 Tablet.  I could not find anywhere to report and will not use this update unless I hear otherwise.  I'll give you the information contained in the message and the place where I downloaded it:

  I also analyzed the file and use of Symantec Corporate AV and AVG and found no problem.  There were no other activity or problem which points to danger.  The only indication that created any concern is the report that we received this Barracuda web filter.  I think I'll pass this information on to them.  Otherwise, I think we can consider this non-issue and this thread can be closed.  Thank you for your attention.

  This is false. They want you to install their App same scam see you on pc.  A web site will not be able to tell if you have a virus.

  Unless you have rooted your phone, it is unlikely to get a virus. I would not visit this new site if.

  Quit Safari (use the option to force out in the  menu if you need). Relaunch Safari since the Dock icon while holding the SHIFT key.

  I'm on 34.0.5. When I launch Firefox, I get a popup window which is doing me install a Firefox stability and security update (screenshot attached). If I select install, I get a virus warning showing that bloatware will be installed if I continue.

  Firefox from mozilla.org does not come with any virus. Some antivirus clients were still false positives with the stub installer even if it has existed since 18.0 Firefox but not with the full installer on Windows.

  If you get a virus warning is false. First Mac don't get viruses. Seconly, how if someone knows if you have a virus? No one other than yourself has access to your computer, not even Apple.

• Virus problem XP, IE, and the system registry.

  First of all, my PC has been infected by the doctor Antispyware, a rogue antivirus program... I managed to download malwarebytes. I then internet DISSCONNECTED, ran the scan and manually delete the other files the registry and program running "ave.exe".

  It seemed to work... 5 minutes later I got now XP Total security pop up! also an another rogue anti virus that pretends to be the windows Security Center. It proved my pc... firewall and created fake virus warning popup windows - up every 10 seconds.

  I tried restoring the system several times using different restore points, no luck, the pc said it couldn't restore because there had been no change.

  So, I repeated the previous process and he dissappeared... but a large number of important system files! None of my programs would open... He would bring to the contrary the 'open with' box ' the only thing that would work was the net.

  I have re-connected to the internet in the hope to use this forum... to find that it was now IE8? (summer id utiliser7)
  Somehow, the pc had uploaded and intalled IE 8 without knowing me... and everything being dissconnected on the net! ??

  Now, whenever I'm doing a search or click on a link I get re directed to sites randomly... or a box pops up saying page get is suspicious and I get sent to the Spyware Doctor site!

  So there must be something still on my pc...

  I don't know if it's real or another hoax, whenever I go to vault avg, that he is back, even if I delete the completely infected file it just reappears.
