  • Satellite L650 - 1 M 0: could not activate the new wireless card

    Hello

I replaced the wireless card in the laptop on WiFi + BT (Combo). New brand of laptop do not had favor of BT
Bluetooth and WiFi work correctly on the system drivers that the system itself.

The only problem with the new adapter is unable to activate or disable the network modules.
Since my laptop does not support default BT will automatically turn off the controller module.

WiFi must be turned off and as in the previous card - a function key. Unfortunately, wireless in the function bar option has disappeared, and the FN + F8 key combination does nothing. Responsible for the light WiFi is on all the time.

It is possible to activate the WiFi module as before?
    Very please help!

    Laptop: TOSHIBA L650 1 M 0
    The new network adapter: BCM94313HMGB

    Sorry for my bad English.
I used the Google Translator because I can't speak English. Only the Polish language ;)

    > Is it possible to activate the WiFi module as before?

You have replaced the WLan module, which means that the hardware configuration has been changed. This means that the different module has affected the functionality of the software.

The new WLan/BT BCM94313HMGB combo card seems to be designed by Broadcom.
Of my knowledge that supports most of the laptops Toshiba Intel / modules Realtek or Atheros. This is why I think there may be a compatibility problem between the FN key software and this module.

Maybe you can try to install the Broadcom driver once more to check if this can help, if not you will have to renounce that.

  • Vista - Error Code: 9370001 (could not install the system preparation tool)

I get an error code 9370001 ever time I try to update my home premium 32-bit systememember - this is a public forum so never post private information such as numbers of mail or telephone!

Try to download and install manually by download on your desktop and install them one by one. Insert the number of KB to get updates on the right and choose the one corresponding to your version of Vista: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/default.aspx.

If this does not work, try a boot minimum http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135.  Disable your security software.  Then try the updates again. Once this is done (if it worked) don't forget to put Vista in normal status, as described in the procedures. If the problem occurs in clean mode then just restore the system to normal and reboot - this solution will not work.

  • Could not keep the portal admin console repository connections.

    Hello
I created the additional WLP (flow in function) repository in oracle.

and configured as a data source in the server console. and added respective JNDI name in the portal administration console.
and I could add/remove content. But whenever I'm restart the machine I'm losing the additional connection of the console to the configuration Portal admin console only.the connection server is safe.

whenever I have to configure with same name JNDI add working with it in the portal administration console only, whenever I restart the machine.

The content and data sources configuration is secure.

but whenever I create additional repository WLP, I couldn't see the respective details have updated content - mgmt.xml in the meta-inf EAR.

is that because of this. If so why is getting updated when it adds new connection in the administration console.

When you create a connection of repository running with the administrator of the portal, the configuration is written to a Deployment Plan. By default, the deployment Plan is written in a location which can be removed during a redeployment of the application. You can specify a location for the deployment plan, that will not get deleted through the WebLogic Server Console or you can add the information to the/meta-inf content - config.xml in .

  • [Error had occurred and could not activate the selected cartridges.]

I can't the cartridges to install that are not already installed by default with vFoglight PRO 6.1...

    vBundle 1.7.0
    Chargeback
    Capacity planning

    We never saw it?

    Thank you

Laughing out loud! Sorry about that! :-)
Your best option opens a case with support. You can take a look in the logs of mgmt, located in the vFoglight\logs folder to see what error was thrown.
You can try to copy the .as file (for example...) Chargeback - 5_5_4.car) in the vFoglight\cartridges folder.
First try pointing to the copied file car and installation.
If this does not work, then try to uninstall the cartridge cartridge inventory display. Then, point to the cartridge file that you saved, and install it.

  • Could not start the desktop Vista after installing Windows Vista SP2, error: 0XC0190036.

    Original title: vista sp2 problem.

I have a laptop that I haven't used in a while.  I took on a trip and received the message that the updates are available.  One was SP2.  After the update is complete, it failed to start with a message OXC0190036.

Startup Repair said that he could not solve the problem.  Restoration of the system has not only restore - labeled SP1 and it allows you to finalize the restoration of files and stays there.  (I waited for 3 hours without change).
I have a XP install disc that I used before installing Win 7 on my desktop, but it does not give me the opportunity to do an installation.
Can enter the command prompt, I'm perplexed as to what to do.
I want to get this laptop that works so I can give to someone who needs a faster machine.
    Thank you.

    Hello

XP disk will not help you to fix Vista

As the system restore does not try a startup repair and / or a restoration of the system using a Microsoft Vista DVD

Manufacturers recovery disks normally do not have Service Options; they are normally a relocation to the factory only settings option.

Here is the guide to repair Options using a Vista DVD from Microsoft.

If a friend or a work acquantance of yours has one, you can borrow and use it for repairs.

    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/repair-Windows-with-Windows-Startup-Repair/

    Table of contents

    1. Overview of Windows Vista repair options
    2. How to perform an automatic repair of Windows Vista using Startup Repair
    3. Advanced Tools Overview
    4. Conclusion

If you do not or can not borrow a Microsoft DVD there is a download of a file ISO of Vista Startup Repair available that you can put on a Bootable floppy to make the above startup repair and that the method is recommended by a large number of posters in these Forums.

Unfortunately, you have to buy it.

Here is a link to it:

    http://NeoSmart.net/blog/2011/Windows-Recovery-discs-updated-reinstated/

    @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

And here are a few ways to reinstall Vista.

There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.

You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.

The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)

    Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.

Ask them to the proper key sequence.

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:

"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html

And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.

And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

"How to activate Vista normally and by Activation of the phone '

  • "Windows could not update the configuration to start the computer" error during the upgrade of Vista in Windows XP

I have a laptop Dell Inspiron 1505, that is running Windows XP Media Center Sp3. I'm doing a place in upgrading to Vista since the disks to upgrade Dell... Everything's fine until the 'Expansion of the files' [27%], then the installation fails with this message: "Windows could not update the configuration to start the computer. Installation cannot continue. Any changes made to your computer during the upgrade". I did a google search for a fix that involves changing a value in the registry in the HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\ {4D36E976-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} for example change the value to PartMgr Upperfilters. Unfortunately, this value was the default for my registry key changes could be made. Some other fixes involved the renaming of Upperfilter.bak, for Upperfilters unfortunately this .bak value does not exist in my registry.

I tried to boot from the disk of Vista and changing the msconfig for a selective startup but without result.

In addition, the stall even appears at a similar point when you try to upgrade to Windows 7. Is it because of the presence of hidden Media Direct and Dell restore partitions? Compatibility Assistant programs for the two operating systems found nothing significant. Anti virus has been disabled during the installation procedure. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    Hello

Not quite, but pretty close. Media Direct could not lock the boot sector. It must be a BIOS lock or a mechanism of protection provided by your antivirus software.  Given that, I would check your program settings then for all that prevents changes to the boot sector. You may find more easy just uninstall it and reinstall it after the upgrade. Good luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Crazy" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com Windows help - www.rickrogers.org
