Vista - can not stable KB2416447

Have tried several times to download the following security update. I tried so many things, that I don't even remember all the different programs I downloaded, removed, downloaded & deleted. Any info would be greatly appreciated.  Here is the code I am getting: says "some updates could not be installed and it's update:

Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 SP1 on Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 x 86 (KB2416447)

My BitDefender indicates an error which needs to be fixed, but can't download.

Hello world

Try the following solution that could help us to solve the issue.
1. uninstall the KB available in Add or remove programs.
2 restart the computer.
3 check the updates and it may propose again.
4. install the update and it will install it successfully.

Another solution:
(1) download and save the Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Redistributable
from: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=262d25e3-f589-4842-8157-034d1e7cf3a3&displaylang=en
(2) download and save the package to Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1
from: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=a8f5654f-088e-40b2-bbdb-a83353618b38&DisplayLang=en
(3) remove the using Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Add and remove programs
(4) install the Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Redistributable
During installation, you may be asked to undo changes to a current
current installation. Click Yes.
(5) install Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1. During installation, you may be prompted that the package is already installed. It will give the opportunity to continue anyway. Click on continue.

All facilities should be successful.

    Thank you

    Hello

Code 39 means that the driver is corrupted or missing.

Step 1: Please do all the same underneath if you did some before as is often total
a process that solves the problem.

Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double click on the device - driver tab.
Click on update drivers (this will probably do nothing) - RIGHT click ON the drive - uninstall.
RESTART this will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue
    below.

Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a coward
cable or slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.

Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both
ends. Remove and replace, do not just tight. For laptops, you can often clean power and
contacts data with a pencil eraser.

Some DVD players do not use the Windows default drivers so check with the manufacturer of system and
manufacturer of device to see if there is a firmware or drivers for your drive if necessary.

    ===============================

Step 2: You have disc problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD & DVD
Burn and CD and DVD read). So it is not unusual for 1 or 2 operational so that other parts
    do it right.

Did you follow the Troubleshooting Guide for the reader who still does not work? There are
the entries in registry that the troubleshooter does not solve and those who "might" be the cause.

Check with your Maker system and a device for the two possible firmware updates and
the correct registry entries for your car.

Here are the keys that I of course are those in question - for the subkeys of the CD/DVD drive
as there will be other subkeys in these keys. Do not forget to ask specific keys involved as well as
    the parameters.

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\IDE

  • I have Windows Vista, can not connect, is the file 'another user '.

Hi, I have Windows Vista Ultimate Edition.

my computer restarted somehow while I was with her and now the only way I can connect is a folder named "other users". It asks me a username and password but I don't know what it will be. How can I solve this problem?

    Hello

Try the methods here, but not exactly the same question that they should help to correct yours.

Your files must be accessible by any ADMIN account in C:\Users if necessary to migrate
    to another account.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You can try to fix it with Safe Mode - repeatedly press F8 as you bootup. The ADMIN account in trunk
Mode has no default password (unless someone has changed the password so it should be available).

Some programs such as the updated Google (if you added the toolbar Google, Chrome or Google Earth)
has been known to cause this problem.

Use the Admin account hidden to lower your user account APPLY / OK then wear again to
ADMIN. This allows clear of corruption. Do the same for other accounts if necessary after the
    above message.

You can use the hidden - administrator account to make another account as an ADMINISTRATOR with your same
password (or two with the same password) use a test or difficulty to another.

You can run the Admin account hidden from the prompt by if necessary.

  • Vista can not read memory cards, please and get in shape.

Hi, I have a strange problem that appeared on my laptop Sony VIAO.

Now it will not read any memory card I use. USB flash drives, SD or MagicGate cards in the slots of the laptop, or the internal or external to a PSP memory.

In all cases, it recognizes the drive exists, but when I try to open it I get an error "you must format the drive until you can use it."

An exception is the CF card in my camera, which is very well read (through the camera and USB). Maybe it's because the camera is regarded as a Portable device in Vista, rather than a "device with removable storage".

I checked all cards work fine in the other PC, and they all used to work on this laptop (i.e. it is not a problem of size of memory card). I have not found anything relevant on the net, and Vista claims that drivers are working and up to date.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I don't want to merge my files and not happy about it. What is my old folder and what is my new. It seems that Microsoft is now trying to do more work for the user. The process used to be simple. I use my old vista computer and waiting for my new computer which has Windows 7pro.

You had a good thing going with the copy and replace he composed easy support. Now I have a folder in a folder that is so my old and who has been my update to easily remove the old. I don't know why you guys did this. No I don't have to go into my backup and delete the folder in there, it would be too long. So, how do we change that back to use, copy and replace the product, do this for all conflicts etc.?

    Thank you for your help

Hi, Yes, I know this is how it should work, but was funny. It's a problem with my old computer I think. I am trying the implementation of a new system and when I downloaded 'documents' on my new machine everything behaved normally and he did the right folder thing.  So it doesn't seem to be a problem with my old vista machine that goes down! In addition, I scan my external HD before download of the new machine.

    Thank you

  • Transferred to the new disk, Vista can not reactivate

Old disk OS/programs became too small, taking ages to start, so cloned drive on a great new. Everything works well except windows has reported new hardware detected, get the product key.  Again entered product key (genuine Vista Ultimate), now I get product already in use... need to buy a new key. The rest of the PC is exactly as it was. What happens here?
