Vista computer is 8th error blue screen at boot

Here's the deal, I did some tests to start with all 12 combinations of ram and swapped my 2 NVIDIA 9800gt cards inside and out. I messed around with the bios and ran startup repair and reset to the factory settings. All to nothing not done, this suggests generally it's a hardware problem, BUT when I got windows to load without problem after a reset... Everything went very well, except my cdrom and dvdrom doesn't appear in Manager of devices or my computer. Optical drive is an option in the bios, I put on first boot, second start being my main, and then third hd start my secondary HD that might be a small area on my card to ram causing blue wavy lines or my power ability to support all parts of that... Sorry for the hike, I kind of put this together I typed... Any help is appreciated!

System information I know since I can't load windows:

Dell XPS 630

PSU: 750w
Windows Vista Edition SP1 Home Premium 32 b

Dual GPU 9800gt

Intel Quad core 3.2 ghz

map the Creative labs sound blaster x - fi gamer

4 GHz memory live ddr3...

I have no disk Windows vista as it is a purchased Dell computer (love of the big company capital gain)


A few things that have happened are:
the 8th BSOD when loading windows
Last startup repair indicates all completed, Root Cause found: failure so that the Setup program is underway.

Another precedent said bad driver...

NO available restore points...

one thing has helped for a while and that is to detach the 3rd boot device

Problem solved! ended up being the two GPU, I cooked in the oven for 8 minutes, which both work! Execution of The Witcher 2 one holds at 81 degrees Celsius and the other at 90-100, which is normal for the 9800gt! Thanks for your help!

  • Computer stops with a blue screen with error fatal when the iPhone is connected

    I know it may not related to windows but I have tried other sites on this issue. My computer stops and a blue screen appears with the message saying fatal error when the iPhone is connected. I tried with or without iTunes installed.

    First without iTunes installed, windows will be asked to USB drivers for the iPhone, but I couldn't find anything on the Apple Web sites if I click No., a message appeared, saying that it might not work properly because he could not recognize my device. Second, I have the latest version of iTunes installed, windows began to recognize my iPhone but stop immediately after that with a blue screen fatal error and messeage saying updating the BIOS. Updated the BIOS of the computer, but nothing helped.

    My computer runs on Windows XP Home Edition SP3, processor Intel Core Duo 1'66 GHz, 2 GB Ram, Intel GMA 950, Intel 945 GM chipset.

    I thought that it requires no USB driver for iPhone on Windows or same iTunes unless I wanted to use it for synchronization or characteristics. Please forgive me if I'm wrong, because I tried it on other computers and it had no problem with the USB drivers and Windows can install by itself.

  • Satellite A300D-1EI - error blue screen display - drivers did not have

    I bought my laptop about a month ago.
    Everything is working great except two errors 'blue screen' caused by the graphics card.

    Both were when the laptop was connected to the TV via the S-video port.
    First was when the computer screen turns off after 15 minutes while watching a movie on resume says that the display drivers did not have, and then I got the blue screen. Then I updated the site Web of ATI display drivers and set the computer screen goes out.

    This driver is not tested and Toshiba does not offer any help on this matter.

    So what you can do is to install OS using recovery media and see what will happen in the future. Please test extensively with the own operating system preinstalled. Do not install anything that can have some negative influence this game or additional applications, codecs or something similar.

    Test it please and tell us if the problem persists.

    When you want to watch movies on television in the first passage to the TV and then start the DVD player.

    Symptoms: Booted computer, loaded the raid drivers and showed at the start screen XP for half a second then to BSOD with a Stop error Code 0x0000007E - see also a lot of users (0xC0000001D, 0 x-, etc.) as well.

    Solution:

    1 boot from your Windows XP CD and start the recovery console. You may need to press F6 while RC loads in order to load the SATA drivers. you will have a prompt c:\WINDOWS to the console.

    2. type: CD $NtUninstallKB977165$ \spuninst (it's the update, I had to uninstall to get out of the boot loop, other updates can be uninstalled by changing the name of the directory to $NtUninstallKBCODE$, where KBCODE is the code KB)

    3. type: BATCH spuninst.txt

    4. type: exit

    Don't forget to configure your system to boot from the HD before resuming. I hope this helps. Saved me a lot of hassle today.

    Juist use Converter 3.0.3 to configure the virtual machine - part seemed to have failed
