Vista Home Premium Bluetooth driver for Sony Ericsson C510 phone

I'm trying to set up a Bluetooth connection between my new Sony Ericsson C510 phone and my laptop Dell Inspiron 1721. The installation will not accomplish because Windows is looking for a "Bluetooth Peripheral Device" driver. It installs other drivers, sets up ports COM etc OK, but cannot find it.

I have installed PC Suite of Sony Ericsson and pointed Windows in the pilot in this suite folder, but it doesn't. I contacted Sony Ericsson Help Desk and they tell me that's not their problem.

Can someone help, as I am running out of ideas.

Hi Moira

Try this step to update the online device driver and check if it helps.

1. click onStart, type devmgmt.msc in the start search box and press on enter.

2. right click on"Bluetooth Peripheral Device" under "Other devices" , and then choosedriver update.

3. you will see two options: 'Browse my computer for driver software' and 'Let Me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer.

4 Select 'Bluetooth Radio' from the list if she asked you to select, and then in the next window, it will display a list of drivers and drivers with company names in a list in another. In the company list choose "Microsoft Corporation", not only Microsoft.

5. in the list of drivers, there may be one or more drivers with the name "Windows Mobile-Based Device Support" with different driver versions. Select the most recent.

6 ignore all warnings and continue to press next and finish finally. If all goes well, the final screen will display the message this device driver is correctly installed. (Click 'YES' in the box)

7. check if the problem persists.

  • How can I get a valid Windows Vista Home Premium product key for my Acer Aspire 5050?

My hard drive failed in my Acer Aspire 5050.  Replaced, reinstalled Windows Vista Home Premium with the appropriate product key, but Microsoft says that it is invalid.  Microsoft wants to buy me a new copy of Windows & there is no available from Acer for my laptop recovery disk.  What can I do?

The product key on the bottom of the laptop is an OEM product key.  This product key does not work for the commercial versions of the operating system.  The original shipping charge might work on the system without entering a product key.

If you did not, or are no longer able to get the recovery media, you will have to buy an operating system of your choice for the installation.

  • The upgrade in Windows Vista Home Premium to Windows 7 Ultimate

    Hello

I HAV downloaded the ISO file following from the MSDN (en_windows_7_ultimate_with_sp1_x86_dvd_u_677460.iso) site for the upgrade from Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit for Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit.

How should I now improve my OS from Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit for Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit.  Double-click the ISO file says that Windows cannot open the file.  How can I open the file?  Should it be converted into a .exe file.  If so, how?

    Thank you.

A .iso file is an image of a dvd.  It is not a program or data file.  You need to burn this image on a dvd with your burning program.  Copy disc, burn to disc.  We'll then work the disc in your optical drive.

  • Vista Home Premium with X 200 order

Hello world. I have a small question regarding my recent X 200 buy. I ordered my X 200 with Windows Vista Home Premium and 1 GB of RAM. I want to move to 4 GB (2x2gb) RAM me when the unit arrives. I would like to know if the Windows Vista Home Premium that comes with my X 200 will be editing 32 or 64-bit. On the order page, there wasn't an option to choose edition 32 or 64 bit for Vista Home Premium (it was for Vista Business and Ultimate however). If the 32-bit edition of Vista Home Premium is the default option, can I call Lenovo for a 64-bit edition? Thanks in advance for your help.

You don't have to take into account the fact that many programs that run in the 32-bit environment does not automatically work in the 64-bit environment. The reason why Microsoft continues to sell the 32-bit operating system rather than any move to 64-bit is the fact that a lot of programs and drivers do not work in the 64-bit environment.

If you are adamant that the 1 GB of ram is giving a performance increase then you can try to borrow them a disc 64 bit someone and install it and then use your own OS serial key to activate it.

I have 8 GB of ram in my T61 with 64 bit Vista and for most cases the increase in performance is almost imperceptible from the 3 GB ram under Vista Home Premium 32-bit for many programs.

My friend gave a laptop computer whose OS is Windows Vista Home Basic Edition.  I format the computer and install a Windows Vista Home Premium I have for my desktop computer.  Now, I have a problem with a product key.  When I start the laptop, it indicates a product key requirement.  I enter my desktop OS product key, but I still see the declaration valid product key.  My question is this.  If I buy the upgrade to Windows 7, the operating system will work in the laptop even if she has a problem with the product key.  If I buy Windows 7 upgrade, there will be no problem with the product key?  Or do I have to buy a new Windows Vista Home Premium for the laptop?  Or if you know anywhere I can buy a product key for Windows Vista with a reasonable price?  Thank you

You cannot transfer a license from another computer to another computer, especially if the license came with this machine. You will need to purchase a new license.
