The only problem I see with your report is that the machine has not been enabled - which you have to do by phone.

    Activate by phone

1 box of "slui 4" in the search on the start menu, press enter

    2. Select the country or region

    3. dial the number, DO NOT select options menu, just wait and someone pick up.

    4 activate by phone.

Download & run the MGA tool.  When the results appear, click on the continue button & it turns into a key copy after a short break.  Click copy [ignore the error message that is displayed].  Paste the results directly in Notepad or another & save them to ensure that you can not lose the information.

Back on this forum & click change under your question:

    • Change the title of the question no real message, MGA posted results to get your issue noticed by the people with the skills to diagnose results
    • Then paste the results in your original post.

Add a history of the computer & operating system.  To avoid too much back & episodic, you must include this information in your question:

    1. The brand and model of the computer
    2. When & where you bought: new & directly from the computer manufacturer, new & from a manufacturer of small scale computer, pre-owned, refurbished,...
    3. What OS was already preinstalled when you bought it
    4. What further facilities of the BONE [replacements & upgrades] have you done since
    5. Where you bought your OS [replacements & updates] facilities
    6. What type of license [OEM / System Builder or retail] you believe that the pre-installed OS & the following facilities OS [replacements & updates]
    7. What, if any, actions that you have taken to activate in the past to achieve or restore activation
    8. What [s] certificate of authenticity ['COA'] you have on the computer itself, or even provided with the following facilities [replacements & upgrades] OS - COA is the label with the product key of Windows 7 on it but do not reveal the product key itself online [the excerpt shown in the MGA results you post is correct] Note that many laptops have the certificate of authenticity within the battery compartment.
    9. What editions of Windows 7 {Starter, Home Premium, professional, full edition} are indicated on the certificate of authenticity [s].
    10. Windows 7 edition identified in the Control Panel, [view by - small icons, if necessary], System
    11. What activation status is indicated in the lower part of the Control Panel, [view by - small icons, if necessary], System
    12. What recent changes have been made to the computer [replacement HDD, motherboard,...]
    13. What indication do you have that your Windows is not genuine?
    14. You have already done to try to solve the current problem
    • Please note that the people who will try to help you maybe in a different time zone.  Display of all the information in your original question can avoid delays based on the current time zone [someone asked what your model of computer during their day, you don't see the question until the next day, they do not see your response until their next day - 3 days might therefore have passed without any progress].
    • Display of all the information in your original question also establishes a single point of reference so that people who are trying to help you can get all the information they need in one place.  It also helps to avoid delays.

  • I replaced my Windows 7 64-bit system drive and now I have the "Not genuine" message after an update failed

I have a Windows 7 64-bit system I bought a provider on the local computer for a long time with Windows installed.

I replaced my hard drives of 500 GB (mirrored RAID configuration) system with hard drives of 1 TB.

After replacing the readers, I also installed a set of Windows updates. We update failed. After you restart the computer, I ran Windows update again. It seemed that all upgrades completed.

HOWEVER, I now have the message "this computer is not running Genuine Windows". Windows Indexing is not running, send me problems in Outlook and elsewhere.

I saw discussions on the online forum on the problem "Not genuine" resulting from an update of Windows failed and resulting also to change the hard drive.

I led Activation (slui.exe 3) typed in the product key from the sticker on the computer and it activates OK but does not erase the message.

I clicked on pay online now and ran legitcheck.hta and my system has failed validation. The options are to buy or to perform a new installation of Windows.

I have a lot of programs installed on the computer, and I can't lose all configuration data and reinstall all programs. That would take several days and I would not have a system can be used in the meantime.

I ran the Microsoft Genuine Advantage Diagnostic Tool (1.9.0027.0) and have these results below.

There are a lot of files file mismatches and "tampered with". I believe that this is due to the update has failed.

I thought to manually rerun all updates that goes back to the date when first I struggled (about a month). However, I wasn't sure if this solves the problem or make worse it.

You can leave the data below what actions I need to take the next?

I am a independent and use this computer to work. I have backups of my data files, but it is many installed applications that I can't do without.

  • Windows 7 not genuine message

    Hello

I started getting a message that keeps popping up saying that my copy of Windows is not genuine. Thing is that nothing has changed on the netbook. I bought with Windows 7 Starter on it again and after a little while the upgrade to Windows 7 Premum, he now worked for about 3 years.

Everything is the same as it was, no replacement of hard drives or whatever it is. The system says that it is activated and genuine but I get this message to come. I tried to run through it, and he said just that I can't activate it (probably because he already is).

Properties of the computer displays active Windows and authentic. I have not updated since a moment so need to do but it keeps telling me that updates failed, then invite say its not authentic.

Result of an activation tool is below which also shows that it is authentic. Someone has ideas of how this can be sorted out please?

    Thank you

    Simon

  • Windows 7 not genuine messages

    Separated from this thread.

    Hello

    I just wanted to point.

As mentioned earlier, after the new installation, I got messages stating the my Windows 7 x 64 version was not genuine.

Gerry has provided a solution that I first thought has solved the problem, but the message has been appearing everytime I connect.

I followed the process from a youtube video which was to access cmd as administrator and enter "SLMGR-REARM" which doesn't work, but I fear that it is a temporary solution.

Finally, my Windows 7 is a genuine, valid and purchased version and I have posted the request in this thread that the problem occurred as a result of my original problem of Windows Update.

    Thank you, R

    Rob

I am sharing your problem in a new thread as some time has passed since your previous problems. Which will ensure that put more emphasis on the current situation.

I suggest that you run the Microsoft Genuine Advantage diagnostic in normal mode tool and copy and paste the results into a response for further analysis: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012

Run the tool and when it ends, click the copy button, open a text such as Word or Notepad file and select Edit, paste. You can paste directly into an answer here. Open a response, right click and select Paste.

  • Windows not genuine message on my desktop

    Original title: Windows not genuine

I got this computer since November 2009.  It came with Windows 7 Home Office preinstalled.  I paid $89.00 for a Windows upgrade Express upgrade to Windows 7 Premium.  All of a sudden, 03/13/11, it popped up on the lower right of my screen:
Windows 7 Build 7601 - this copy of Windows is not genuine.  I even checked for the new product key given me with the upgrade of $89.  Nothing works.  Why is happening out of the blue?  Another screen pops up saying you can be a victim of software counterfeiting.  To use all the features of MS Windows, IE. all the updates of Windows updates, download the latest updates, receive product support.  Your copy of Microsoft Windows must be validated as authentic.  I hope there, can someone help me with this.  Thank you very much

Hmmm, should be ok.  It looks like microsoft.

Are you located in one of the countries listed?

I hope that you have not shared this key with anyone. The key can only be used on a single computer.

I'm puzzled. go to the class forum that looks like the only way this will get sorted. Darin is the only one I know who has the tools to analyze your key. He works at microsoft. Also, I could be wrong on the error code.
A thought more: makes the button in the report match the anytime upgrade button, you received in your email?

  • Vista not genuine Build 6002 error

I recently got a message "this copy of Windows is not Build 6002 Windows VistaMD" on a dark screen.  I checked Software Liscensing Service and I saw that she value Manula so I reset to automatic.  I started the Service and got an Error Message that basically says "access denied."  I ran CHKDSK C:/R, and he said: I had some corrupted files.  After it restarts fine, the error message is gone and the computer works normally.  Except when I look in Maint system in Control Panel, I get the message that says that Windows is not activated, although the ID of the product is indicated.

    That seems good, too :)

Please try posting at www.microsoft.com/genuine/validate and see what happens - if successful, that you will be offered MSE and IE9.

  • Windows 7 is not genuine message.

Like many others, I received the same message "Windows 7 not" authentic. I bought my computer with Win 7 pre loaded, at least 2 years. I checked through other messages by the resolutions seem to be different. I have a diagnostic report I posted below.

Any help to solve is appreciated.

You buy a genuine Windows 7 license. The copy of Windows 7 Professional, you have installed is an OEM SLP license that should only be preloaded with a new PC. You seem to have installed a copy of Windows 7 Professional that uses an activation exploit that bypasses the product activation.

We know that it is because the BIOS date:

    20070907000000.000000 + 000

Windows 7 was released in 2009, the date of your BIOS says 2007, which means probably that your system is provided with Windows Vista or Windows XP.

In addition, he is a well known Windows 7 Ultimate license which has been used all over the web:

    Windows product key: *-* - 788W3 - H689G-6P6GT

Do a search on the web.

Thus, you must either charge your version of Windows that came on your computer (Vista or XP) or consider purchasing a license of Windows 7 genuine.

  • "Not genuine" message after MB BIOS and CPU change

Yesterday, I installed a new processor to my PC running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. I also installed a new BIOS for my motherboard to support the new processor.

When I restarted Windows 7 displays a message 'not active' and gave me a link to reactivate.

After I tried to turn it back on, I got this error code: 0x80072F8F. Then my wallpaper turned black with white text "non-genuine Windows" in the lower right corner of reading.

    What should I do now?

Have you tried to restart by phone?

How to activate Windows 7 manually (activate by phone)

    1) click Start and in the search for box type: slui.exe 4

    (2) press the ENTER"" key.

    (3) select your "country" in the list.

    (4) choose the option "activate phone".

    (5) stay on the phone (do not select/press all options) and wait for a person to help you with the activation.
