Vista / Office 2007 cannot print documents. Can print from WordPad. All drivers up to date
Environment: HP HDX X18T - 1200 CTO running Vista Premium 64, Office 2007, brother HT1440 and MG6100 of Canon printers. Manager device poster printers and ports work. All the drivers are up to date and I can print the Test Pages. I can stick a WordPad document and print it. However, when I try to print from Outlook, Office 2007, or a PDF document, the message "No printer installed" or the pop up says "add a printer". I uninstalled the printer off, unplugged the machine, power and installed printers on the internet without success. Any suggestions you could offer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your time.
The comparable Office 2007 registry key should be in the following directory.

Original title: can print test of control panel pages, but cannot print from applications (Word, WP) no error no message other than can not find printer.
Recently upgraded to SSD as boot drive. everything is working except cannot print from Word, WP or any application (Editor, etc.). Can print test pages to control panel on each installed printer, and do not appear. Try to print from Word he pauses and says "cannot find the printer." Tried reinstalling Word without solving the problem. I don't know that the problem is Windows 7 related, not printer hardware problem. Several times reinstalled printer that also does not resolve the issue. Any ideas? Anyone? Anyone?

I have FSX w/acceleration installed for a few years now on my HP G71 dual core laptop and it works great, that I had no problem at all. It was my first attempt to print from it however. I wanted to print a flight plan, click on the "print" button and nothing happened. I went to the Panel, open Printers and devices, and my printer was there, online and ready without papers pending. I went to properties and even printed a test page, so I know that the issue is not with the printer. For some reason any FSX does not send the document to the printer. How can I remedy, which should look and where? Thank you in advance for any light that can be shared.
The duplicate thread information:
Cannot print from FSX w/acceleration, no further questions. Running Windows 7 64 bit.

My HP Officejet Pro 8600 cannot print from my MacBook Air
Hello
My HP Officejet Pro 8600 cannot print from my MacBook Air. It keeps on showing "the printer is not connected", but the display on the printer connected. I often reset the printer "EVERY TIME" I want to use. I also tried to turn off my laptop and printer several times before printing. If I'm lucky, it will work maybe for one or two prints. If no luck then I have to reset everything again. Sometimes I reset the printer, the printer is not displayed on my selection.
Hello boojoo1tw,
Welcome to the HP Forums!
I understand that you are unable to print most of the time with your Officejet 8600. How is the printer connected? USB or wireless? What is your operating system on your Mac computer? Click here to find out.
If your wireless printer, then I recommend the award of an 'IP address' by following this HP document on printer does not maintain the wireless connection.
Please post your results, I'll be looking forward to hear from you.

HP MFP M225: cannot print from my computer while receiving a fax
We cannot print from our jobs while receiving a fax. Just had a big fax that took 20 minutes to come through, our work was at a standstill because of this. Have had other multifunction machines that we could print or copy when you receive faxes. Is there a setting somewhere that I'm missing?
Hi @spd9602,
Thank you for visiting the Forums from the HP Support! I understand you want to be able to use your HP LaserJet Pro colour M225 while she receives a fax.
There is no setting or feature that you are missing. When a Fax is coming through, you cannot use the other features of the LaserJet printer.
Even if you print a document, you would be unable to receive a fax or make a copy.
One alternative may be scanning and sending larger documents then the LJ is not supported by a function for so long.
I hope this helps!

Cannot print from Firefox 3.6.13
Cannot print from Firefox. 3.6.13. says it's printing, but only a blank page comes out of the printer. Safari works fine, but I like Firefox. With the help of Mac 10.6.5.
Probably caused by a Bug in Firefox, which is supposed to be fixed in versions of Firefox 4.0. Until Firefox 4 is out, my suggestion is to use the preview before printing and if the preview is empty use Safari to print this page. This extension will allow you to click right into Firefox and open the same page in Safari, so you don't have to copy' only paste the URL.

OfficeJet Pro L7555: Cannot print from a web site, print Word document
Has been able to print from the internet. Update driver on the HP support site. More am able to print from web site. To print the document Word, MS Works, free Office very well. My operating system is Windows 7 32-bit home, browser is Firefox. The system is wired nine two weeks old Asus desktop computer. The computer initially recgonized the printer and would print from the internet, but not after the updated driver. When the print window opens, it is immediately covered by another window that says "a printing error has occurred" and it takes me to the screen of Win 7 document library. The model number as the best I can say is CB821A.
MusicMan, I thank you for your prompt attention to my problem. I ran the HP print and scan doctor. The program stopped in the process and told me my software was outdated, but when I tried to install it, the program canceled and so he told me that he was unable to install the software update I jumped the upgrade and continued with the scan doctor who told me there was nothing wrong with the printer. I tried to print from the internet but no go. Then I opened Internet Explorer and has been able to print from the internet, but the text was not very dark. It seems that you are correct and the problem is in Firefox. OK, what to do next? I guess that there is a setting in Firefox I can change. Looked in the options, but do not see anything that looked like, it was the.

Have tried several times to reinstall the printer software, has made a new clean install of everything, including the operating system. He spent over 3 hours with HP to fix the problem with no joy. It will not print from word, pdf (live or recorded) or my documents that I use the tool unless sipping to destine to my photos, then it prints very well. I tried the fixer thing automated and he said no problem. Somewhere I read that maybe a C:\windows\system32\Drivers\usbprint.sys lack... I looked and that you do not see this folder.
I started having problems when I was updating the software of the printer.
Vista home Prem much ram/disk space, all updates, good antivirous.

I just got a new HP with Windows 7 computer. I use a HP Officejet 4500 printer. When I try to print from Firefox it brings up a window FAX as I am trying to send a fax. This happens regardless of how I try to print. Go to file then print or the button "impression" on the toolbar navigation or by using the button "print" on the web site. If I try to print from Outlook 2007 or from Explorer 9 everything works fine and the page is printed. I prefer to use Firefox on explore. It's just something that MS put in Windows 7 to force the use of Explorer?
{Ctrl + P} to print at the top, select your printer in the printer - name box. Currently, you have a "virtual" printer selected.

cannot print from any website on firefox, but can print from the internet explore
When I'm on firefox and try to print something from nothing, like amazon, my aol or my server secure messaging or other, it does not print. But if I use Internet Explorer, I can print from anything. This just started happening
Hello ellenharper,
Many printing problems can be solved by turning off the print preferences in topic: config. Here's how:- Entered on: config in the Firefox address bar and press ENTER. Click I'll be careful, I promised to continue.
- In the text filter box, type print.
- Right click on each remaining parameter, and then select reset.
Try to print again and see if the problems still happen!

Cannot print from Vista laptop after going DSL ATT Uverse. __
Have a XP PC with a Canon Pixma 310 connected via USB. Before Uverse, I was able to print from my Vista laptop that is used wireless. I checked to make sure that the printer is shared on all parameters. When I try to print from laptop, I get a window indicating the printer is not enabled. I spoke with Cannon and Uverse mean that it is a Vista setting. not need to change anything, other than the DSL, uverse.
You use a different wireless router now that yopu use Uverse? Is the printer connected to a PC in your local network, or is it wireless itself? Open your printers folder and right click on the print queue. Click on properties. Select the Ports tab. Scroll down to the port that you use for the queue. What is an IP address? If so, is this the right place? If you have changed wireless routers, the local address may be different from what it was with the old router. Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook]
