Vista program

Bought this new computer about 11/2 years ago. It's an emachine with Vista program. There always at some point while I'm online just stop working. The page, I am freezing and the colors will fade to a pale color and the small circle next to the pointer keeps spinning. Usually, if I continue to by clicking on the mouse it will bring up a sign of MSN error and I click that and then she will leave to my office page. Other times that I have to click Start, and then click Restart. I tried different things to try to remedy with no luck. Can you tell me what is the problem and how can I solve this problem? THX

Hey spinaker.

Thank you for your response.

We have some additional questions for you and a possible suggestion to help solve your problem.

1. What is the number of brand and model of your system?

2. the amount of ram is your system?

3. Please check the process while using IE7 to see if anything else is running (check the box for show for all users).

Please refer to the following article and perform a clean boot on your system:

http://support.Microsoft.com/default.aspx/KB/929135

After you run the clean boot, try to use IE again and see if you get the same questions as before. As a clean boot is used to update the settings on your system and eliminate one of the processes that may have lit up by websites you have already visited.

Please post back and let us know the answers to the above questions so that we can help you and also to know if the execution of a clean boot helped to solve your problem or not.

Win 7 Antispyware 2012, 2012 Antivirus Vistaand XP Security 2012 are all names for the same fake anti-spyware. This family of thieves is promoted in two ways. The first is to use antivirus scanners online fake state that your computer is infected and then prompt you to download a file that will install the infection. The other method are pirated web sites that attempt to exploit vulnerabilities in programs that you run on your computer to install the infection without your knowledge or permission. No matter how it is installed, as soon as it runs on your computer it will install as a variety of names in different programs and graphical interfaces depending on the version of Windows that is running. Whatever the name, however, they all end the same program with just a different skin to this topic. Here are the different ways to reinstall Vista

Contact the manufacturer of the laptop computer and ask them to send you to vista recovery disks to reinstall the operating system back as it was when you bought it

they do it for a nominal cost of $

    ____________________________________________________________

also ask them if you have a recovery partition on your hard drive to get back to the way you bought

you would normally press F8, F9, F10 or F11 or Alt + F10 or 0 to start to start the recovery process according to the manufacturer

Ask them of the exact key sequence

    __________________________________________________________

or borrow a vista microsoft dvd; not a HP, Acer recovery disk etc

Make sure that you borrow the correct 32-bit or 64-bit microsoft dvd to your computer

they contain all versions of vista

This is the product key that determines which version of vista is installed

  • All of my Windows Vista programs appear under the same icon.

Problem with Vista programs: all of my Windows Vista programs make their appearance as the same icon.  How can I fix it and what happened?

Rebuild the cache icon as follows: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/117229-icon-cache-rebuild.html.  That should take care of the problem.  I don't know why it happened - but I've seen it before, and we never really determined the cause then either.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • It apears that ROXIO CD and DVD copy program is part of the Vista program when I got it. After my computer crashed it seems to have disappeared. It worked like a charm, how do I get it back?

It seems that ROXIO CD and DVD copy program is part of the Vista program that came with the computer. After that the computer crashed it disappeared. It can be recovered?

Roxio CD and DVD is NOT a part of Vista, but it may have come with other software on your PC from the manufacturer.  When you crashed, how are you on the recovery?  Did you do a clean reinstall?  Did you use a recovery disk provided by the manufacturer or a recovery Partition created by the manufacturer, or have you used a Vista disk?

If you used disks of recovery or a recovery of the manufacturer Partition, then you need to discuss with them because they produce these discs - not Microsoft (and they may be able to solve the problem or refer you to a site where you can download the program or email the file to you or something - or send you the replacement of the recovery with the software on this disc so always available - possibly for one) small fee).  If you used a Microsoft disc, then this program is not on the disc and why he is not installed more.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • Run XP on Vista programs - solution

    Hi people
Earlier I asked how I could run a program xp on vista, can't do or it seems. My son sorted it for me now, I can use the program as a normal use and even Vista, better than that, it's both at the same time. It instaled Virtual PC.
For all those stuck there gaze upward it does not work and so far I have had no problems.

Hope this helps someone I know how frustrating it can be.
    all the best

    Hello

Yes, it's a nice solution which is surely the best way to do some running programs. The best thing is that it s free and it s of microsoft, so many users would appreciate it when you always work with XP programs.

    Have a nice weekend

  • Vista - programs try to remove themselves if clicked

Initially, there was a continuous type in each panel research (Windows Vista) with lots of +++ and it wouldn't stop.
I suspect a virus but my Norton to date found nothing. I tried since several other antivirus products, including the latest (full analysis of Microsoft) malicious software removal tool and still nothing.

I have studied the possibility of a stuck key, but it doesn't seem to be the problem either.

Since the race, I have the restore disc and now the problem has changed.
Now, every time I click on a program in the list of programs all I get a message asking if I'm sure I want to delete it!
Seems very viral, but after that finished four reformat / reinstall I wonder if it's something else.

    Any ideas?
    Thank you

    Hello

Usually the laptop should run correctly after a complete reinstallation of the Windows operating system.
If it s not the case, a hardware problem may be possible

In your case I guess the keyboard could malfunction. But it's just my personal suggestion and a cheque of laptop would be needed to ensure that's exactly wrong.

So maybe it's time to contact the ASP in your country

  • Problems in using a DOS Windows Vista program

I hope someone can help me with this.  I currently have a HP Compaq Presario F700 computer laptop (GR967UA #ABA) which has a processor bicoeur AMD Athlon 64 X 2 (TK - 55 1.80 GHz).  I have 1.0 Gig of RAM, and it's a 32 bit OS.  I am running Windows Vista Home Premium, Service Pack 1.  My problem is the following:

I installed a program of production/printing barcode Dynacomp, a MS-DOS program that told me the company is compatible with and would work on Windows Vista operating system.  I can get the program to operate in all directions except for actually photograph the barcode.  When I try to do, all I get is an error message indicating "device PRN of spelling error".  I checked the connections to printers, operation and have no problem printing with something else.

I'm not a user of BACK and just the most basic familiarity with its use, for example. If there is no step by step instructions, I'm lost.  Any ideas on why printing is a problem or if all goes well a few ideas on fixing or working around the issue would be greatly appreciated.

This is JUST A GUESS, but I assume that the program tries to write about the default printer... know LPT1, which is a device of parallel port... which YOU probably do not even!  This thread seems to discuss your problem: http://www.annoyances.org/exec/forum/winxp/t1018027328 (Google: BACK set default printer).  Technically, their program MAY work in Vista, command prompt, but maybe ONLY when the computer has a parallel port LPT1 printer is connected.  You need to talk to Dynacomp and ask them what to do to address setting up YOUR printer.  If you Google long enough, you'll probably find the answer yourself... There are VERY FEW problems, that no one else has not met before (you), and they are kind enough to document their journey

If you already have the Windows XP disc:

    • Insert the Windows XP disk into the CD/DVD drive
    • Completely turn off the power - the power supply light should be off, without blinking.
    • Turn on the computer and be careful. When it says «Press any key to boot from CD...» "Press a key on your keyboard, the Windows XP Setup program is now charging.

How can I get my computer vista email to say "you have a message?

Its depends on your email program. If you are using software such as Microsoft Office Outlook e-mail, then when you have received a new email it will notify you.

For webamil, you could connect to your email address, and then drag the window and PIN to the taskbar to alert you to new e-mail.
