Vista taskbar

The Vista taskbar (at the top of each page) worked and after reboot it is disappeared under my access code.  Other users of this computer have this page function Vista that shows when the cursor is on it.   How to turn this feature back on?

Try a system restore to a Date before the problem began:

Restore point:

http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows-Vista/using-Windows-Vista-system-restore/

Do Safe Mode system restore, if it is impossible to do in Normal Mode.

Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

Read the above for a very good graph shows how backward more than 5 days in the System Restore Points by checking the correct box.

    Hi Comintern,

    ·         Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

    ·         You receive an error message or error code?

    Follow the suggestions below for a possible solution:

    Method 1:

    Step 1: Start in safe mode and check if the problem persists.

    Start your computer in safe mode

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

    Step 2: If the problem does not occur in safe mode, you can put your system to boot (in normal mode) to solve the problem.

    How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

    Note: After troubleshooting, be sure to configure the computer to start as usual as mentioned in step 7 in the above article.

    Method 2: I also suggest that you scan your computer with the Microsoft Security Scanner, which would help us to get rid of viruses, spyware and other malicious software.

    The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

    Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

    Important: While running scan on the hard drive if bad sectors are found on the hard drive when scanning try to repair this area if all available on which data may be lost.

  • Vista taskbar has changed when I edited the Start Up Programs

    I edited my programs from starting with msconfig to speed up my computer. I tried to not disable the programs that I recognized as useless or that there are 'arrested' said status so I knew that I didn't need them. However, when I rebooted my computer my Vista taskbar and accompanying effects vista are dumbed down for a classic look.

    I already checked the properties, and is not the problem. As far as I can tell that my NVidia is fine I missed that in the boot options. I think I turned off a Windows program that kept my Vista from the normal search.

    Any advice?  I would rather not system restore because I would always go back and change my start and maybe go back to the same program.  Does anyone know the programs that combine with Vista?

    Hello

    That you disable?

    A process of elimination should work - reactivate 1/2 - If the problem is corrected then disble 1/2
    -If the problem has not been corrected, then try the other 1/2. Or use system restore
    and start over by removing only 1 at a time - or a few and so on.

    I hope this helps.

    Remove the Vista updates; two ways to do this:

    1. a System Restore to before the updates:

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > System Restore > restore time/choose your own date > next

    If you use Norton, disable it before using the system restore.

    If it is impossible to enter the Normal Mode, do a Safe Mode system restore:

    Press F8 at the startup/power and the list of startup options, use THE ARROW key to select Safe mode > and then press ENTER.

    System restore steps according to the info above.

    Also:

    2. click on start > right click on computer > properties > Windows updates down the lower left corner > updates installed in the lower left corner in the next window

    > then click the one that you don't want > uninstall will appear at the top > uninstall it.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    In addition, on the page where you clicked "Installed updates", click on change settings at the top left corner it
    > Change update settings in the next page of AutoUpdate to "check for updates but let me choose etc" > OK ".
    When you take a look at pending updates, you can either download/install them one at the time, namely the update causing you problems.
  • Why my windows Vista processer became the classic windows processor?
    My computer is 64-bit of Windows Vista. When using my computer, it changed randomly one day of vista taskbar and the classic model for the old. I tried to change the settings of vista, but even in doing so, it is classic. An example of what is happened is that I tried to play a computer game (Warcraft III), and I played on this computer before it changed. in any case, I'd just reinstalled today and under where it says installation it says "the game is not compatible with Windows NT. I then try to start the game and it made going to the loading screen then "not responding". Windows NT is the old processor of 1993, and I was wondering if my computer messed up and considering this isn't Vista more. If anyone has any ideas on what's exactly happened to my computer please let me know.
  • Vista I have an ATA connected to a USB HDD, I don't have a statement!
    A vista taskbar icon indicates that I have an ATA connected to a USB hard drive, the player he reports is actually my internal drive 'C'. I can't delete this report in «stop and eject» unit because it is of course in use. I tried to remove and reinstall the USB drivers and fill all the USB slots with other devices, but even with all the slots filled I still have a hard disk that is reported. Any help her please this problem of compensation.
    I have seem this several times. It is not really a problem; You can simply ignore it.
    If you really want to get rid of the icon, you can try going to the site Web of the manufacturer and checking for updated drivers. There is an old post showing how to remove for some drivers using a key to register here: http://www.techspot.com/vb/topic35442.html
  • Taskbar programs when the group option is disabled
    I'm a TI support person for my company and we run Vista Business 32-bit on Dell Optiplex 7xx machines. One of my users noticed that he will come in the morning and begin to open its programs. Outlook, IE, internal program, IE, another program internal and the taskbar will show them in the order that it was open. However, after some time the programs start grouping, not piled together but side by side on the taskbar. So then its taskbar will look like: IE, IE, IE, Outlook, internal, internal program and so on. I checked the taskbar options and simlar group option is unchecked. I vaguely remember that on my own system, I saw several times but never really paid attention to it. I've never heard of it done this before and can't really find something about it on my research. I always knew that Vista to put them on the taskbar in the order that they were opened, unless the group option is enabled. Thanks in advance for any help.
    Hello Matt Fuhrman,
    If you have too many applications open, it would group similar objects.
    If your taskbar is out of space, it would group similar programs so that they would be presented to the taskbar.
    See the snapshot below:
    If you combine them, it would be what it would look like:
    You can see the underside of section which will give you information on the different options of task bar:
