Vista Ultimate Menu/upper toolbar on the desktop

I use to have a menu bar at the top of my office who had a 'Music Office button button, button of security and Recycle Bin Button'.  I ran the program Microsoft Fix It and the Menu bar disappeared and I can't seem to make it back.  How can I return my menu bar?

Try typing delldock in the search box of start, see if it appears at the top.

If this isn't the case, you can download it from the link.

There is no such thing as a ' 2 License User"for Windows.

It * may * be for 2 processors. These 2 processors MUST be on the same physical motherboard.

You use WIndows out-of-contract of license and will have to purchase a new license to the second machine.

    Hello

I would ask you to contact the Microsoft customer service to get the installation disk. After installation, you can use the same license key that you purchased to activate Windows Vista Ultimate Edition. Or you can also contact the website from which you downloaded the Windows vista ultimate.

    Hello

The easiest way is with a crossover cable - a special wire to connect the two systems.
You can get one at your local computer store - they are not expensive.

Also check with the site of the manufacturer of your router, because they will have in-depth details on how to
    set up the network.

  • the desktop folder Vista copy in a folder on the desktop

I met a funny situation. My question is; Has anyone ever seen this before?

You are using windows vista, its to understand that there is a desktop computer, which contains my users of computers and MyComputer ControlPanel Recyclebin etc.  Inside of each user, each contains properly, a folder on the desktop...

Somehow, I accidentally dragged my file userdesktop out of my home directory of the user, in the folder of the main office.  The result, it seems, is an effect like pointing a video camera on his own monitor, by zooming in on itself to infiinity. Now I have like 60 folders named desktop in a tree. In my tree Explorer, I can access these 60 files at 4 different locations.

Strangely enough, perhaps unrelated, these same files accessed via my Start menu are unrelated to records in my Explorer window. I can edit each... but the change does not reflect in the other.

I appreciate your comments. Thank you very much.

  • The Start Menu folder is on the desktop, how to get away from this?

I use Windows Vista, packs latest.

Somehow, my start folder Menu has been linked directly to do my office.  There is a folder (Start Menu) on the desktop which cannot be deleted and can be moved to any other place, other than just another post on the desktop itself.

I have the program set to the Classic Style button and Start Menu now appears above the horizontal line that separates the programs, Documents, etc., other links.  I want her to be out there, as this seems to be a kind of vicious circle.

I have absolutely no idea of what I can pushed have obtained this file where it is.  What should I do?

    Thank you.

You know what?  After playing with him for a while, I just jumped start "real" of the Classic Mode to normal mode (for Vista), and then he jumped to classic.  Solved the problem.  I do not know how, why, I didn't even do it intentionally.

I am completely free of malware, etc.

    Thanks for the help, however.

  • How todownload free vista ultimate x 64 windows from the microsoft site?

Please help me because I am trying to download windows vista ultimate 64 bit OS from Microsoft, but I'm not succeed
Please help me to download this windows.

    Hello

There are several methods to reinstall Vista.

There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.

And Microsoft sells more Vista; If that's what you're looking for.

You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

To reinstall Vista using their recovery disk/s, you start from the 1st recovery disk they provide and follow the manufacturer's instructions to reinstall:

You need to change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order:

How to change the Boot order in BIOS:

    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/SS/bootorderchange.htm

"How to replace Microsoft software or hardware, order service packs and replace product manuals.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/326246

And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.

The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)

    Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.

Ask them to the proper key sequence.

And if you do not score a manufacturer of recovery on your hard drive, you should be able to make your own recovery from her disks to reinstall the operating system.

Go to programs > name of the manufacturer of your computer > then their system or recovery tools software topics for them, depending on how it is formulated.

If you can't find any reference to it, contact the manufacturer for advice on how to make these recovery disks.

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:

"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html

And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.

And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

If the Vista Ultimate is a full retail product and then install it here.  You may need to use telephone activation, but this isn't a problem.

If it is a Vista Ultimate upgrade version, you must have an operating system that is valid for upgrade and without a preinstalled OS or a license for the new computer "legally" impossible to install the upgrade version.

XP OEM license for the old system died with the old system and cannot be used for the new computer as a qualifier for an upgrade.
  • Vista Ultimate upgrade error - cannot find the driver

I need to upgrade a laptop Vista Home Premium to Vista Ultimate to connect to a network of MS Server 2008. Home Premium runs on SP1, and I bought an upgrade ultimate retail package which has Ultimate SP1. When I go to install an update (I don't want to erase the old files and OS), installation involves copying the files, collecting info and half an hour in the installation, several times during "Expanding files", I get an error - upgrade can not find a driver file and install is abandoned, no error or anything else code mentions , and I couldn't find anything like this in the forums. There is no external device attached to the laptop. Any ideas?
    Thank you

  • Upgrade Windows Vista Ultimate to Windows 7 Professional (the two 32-bit) using Express upgrade after that my hard drive crashed.

    Hello:

As the title says, I have recently updated my new hard drive, I got from Dell's Windows Vista Ultimate Edition of Windows 7 Professional. I don't have the product key for the Express upgrade, so I'm unable to activate my copy. The last time this was back in 2009 when I bought the Express upgrade, so I don't know what I did to fix this problem.

I appreciate any help you can give me.

  • License transfer of Ultimate Windows 7 laptop on the desktop (laptop is dead)

Initially, I had a HP laptop comes with windows Vista.  When it came out, I bought the Windows 7 Ultimate upgrade for her.  This laptop is now dead and won't start.

I also have a computer with Windows 7 Home Premium.  I was wondering if I can transfer the license of Windows 7 Ultimate on my desktop since I can no longer use the laptop?  If I needed to uninstall or downgrade the laptop that would be impossible - as it is quite dead.

    Yes, you can.

If I needed to uninstall or downgrade the laptop that would be impossible - as it is quite dead.

Just use the Windows 7 Ultimate key and upgrade installation of Windows 7 Home Premium using Anytime Upgrade, then reactivate by phone:

If the license for Windows 7 Ultimate, you have access to is a retail version update or complete, you can use the product key and the Express upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 7 Ultimate. First of all, check that the edition of Windows 7, you are upgrading is already enabled (if it isn't, you will encounter complications and that you might start all by performing a clean installation). Click Start, type Anytime Upgrade, click on the option enter a key, enter the key of Windows 7 Ultimate edition at the request, click Next, wait while checking the key, accept the license agreement, click on upgrade, wait while the software upgrades, (it may take 10 minutes or more depending on the if updates are required) your computer restarts automatically, after the reboot, Windows 7 will notify you updating the computer, the computer will restart once more automatically and will be completed the upgrade, a window will appear notifying the upgrade was successful and your computer is ready to use, click Close, you should be upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate files the stored settings and programs.

How to activate Windows 7 manually (activate by phone)

    1) click Start and in the search for box type: slui.exe 4

    (2) press the ENTER"" key.
