  I tired to install MS Visual Studio Express from 2012 on window XP with SP3 with all updates to date. But it fails with exit code 1602. Please help solve this problem. • Problem installing Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Express

  Recently I had difficulties installing programs. I'm on Windows 7 64-bit. Today, I tried to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Express with disappointing results.

  I went through the installation, and it says that the program has been installed successfully. However, I could not locate the program to open it. I ran a search that returned no results. The start menu did not light up like it normally does when there are new programs. I looked in the start menu > all programs and there was a folder titled "Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Express. The folder was empty.
  I went into C > Program Files (x 86) and I saw different folders containing additional files for the program. I finally found what I believed to be the program itself, "VCExpress." I double clicked and the start screen for the program came, followed by an error message indicating "folder data Application for Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Express could not be created." I tried to run as an administrator, and the error message says "the application cannot start."
  If I try to re - install, it says that it is already installed. I uninstalled via Control Panel > uninstall program and re-installed several times with the same results. I had similar problems with other programs, and they all seem to be Microsoft programs.
  EDIT: The problem seems to have something to do with my AppData folder. When I go to C > users he's not here, but if I try to create a folder with that name, it says there is already a folder with that name.

  After suffering for a week, I can find no clear response from everyone and decided to seek the help of this community. I am trying to do the work of development using Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Express. I recorded my Visual C++ so that it works without obvious interruption.   Visual Studio 2010 support added in NOR-DAQmx 9.2.3, so I expect to install a copy of the API reference that works with VS2010.   Already running 32-bit application? Have you changed references to the 64-bit version?

  You use Measurement Studio? If so some features are not supported with 64 bit.

  A brief overview of ALALA situation and how it happened:

  1. I went to microsoft.com and download Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Professional Trial Edition

  2. I opted to use the Installer web pro (4.3 MB) and it correctly installed, restarted and completed the installation.

  3. I opened one of my previous Visual Studio 2008 Solutions and it prompted me to convert the solution.

  4. it is the solution converted successfully and open well.

  But now for some reason any my computer started to give me a blue screen. It forces the computer to restart, and then it connects back with errors:
