  Hello and thanks for the display on the HP support forums.  Using a USB hub, you get a signal from one of the disks is trying to make a repair due to a possible disconnection during a writing session.  You will need to do is a test on the external drives to see if one of them has problems.  Try to make a direct connect with each drive connected by tonight and see if they are the problem on their own.

  If one of them is causing the problem, try and use the test drive of windows.  Here is a link to help you with that.

  Sounds like the lights behind the screen that make visible failed. If an external monitor connected to your laptop works fine, then it would be my best first guess.

• Tecra M10 hangs when booting with the new OEM battery

  I bought an OEM battery for my tecra and now the laptop freezes at boot (the screen remains black with a flashing underscore) with the battery connected.
  I have to remove the battery, connect the AC adapater, turn on the laptop and, after loading of windows, and then connect the battery.

  In most cases underscore flashing is related to the problem of faulty RAM or HARD disk.
  In my case, the HARD drive was defective and so I had the same symptom for laptop.

  I m not very well where is the link between the blinking underscore and the new battery but the computer world everything is really strange sometimes and a lot of strange things can happen so maybe the new battery is defective

  Have you noticed this problem with the old battery?
  If not, then I recommend test another battery maybe it helps

  Brian good (I think that its your good reputation), first of all thank you for taking the time to post a nice video to show us the problem clearly.

  Now, what is the real cause of this problem?

  Here are the possibilities:

  1. your windows startup file is corrupted, if you experience this problem.

  2. you made a hardware recent change / installation of the driver.

  3. your hardware component is defective (RAM or HARD drive).

  4 overheating

  Now come to the solution (s):

  I write the wise number of solutions as opportunities:

  1. use a boot disk to start or to repair the startup using Windows 7 Startup Repair (either install original Windows 7 dvd or if your provider has provided a dvd repair). You can find how do help in detail section. pop the dvd, configure the bios to boot from it, select advanced and then goto repair.

  2. remove all hardware you installed recently, and then try to start in safe mode (by pressing F8 during startup, you will get options)

  3. If you have multiple RAM remove one bye one and try, it's a test error method. If the HARD drive is faulty, you must goto hardware vendor.

  4. check the inside of the Cabinet: clean carefully, check if any cable is blocking any fan.

  Note: The test of solution 1, then down average. Do not open the closet when its on or if you do not have the knowledge necessary to perform this task.

  Image shows in every day, newly developed v.37 FF, with all the addons updated helped start. FF started in safe mode is exactly the same.   Hi guys, need some advice here.

  I always taped voice-over in editing with Audition 3.0 (Windows 7 64-bit)

  Recently, I bought a Creative sound card (X - Fi Titanium HD) that sounds good and that records 24 / 96 kHz with excellent results using several different microphones, mainly an EV RE20.

  I have the main of my mixer left and right coming out using cables of 1/4 inch outputs and enter the audio card to the left and right inputs via RCA...

  In the audio hardware setup Auditions change the display, there is only a choice either to the left or right to the but not a mixture of the two as a starter. (aid to the left)

  Do not use the input on the card because I wanted to use the ins RCA (left/right) on the sound card and microphone input is a 1/8 input that would require another Y microphone cable 1/4 to 1/8 and the fact that I had issues with 1/8 entries before.

  Then, when I record the voiceover in the edit mode, I think I'm really only half of the signal (to the left) which means that I need to gain preamp more that I would get a good level.

  Recently, I have been recording in multitrack view using the 1-way left and right track 2 at the and then doing a mono mix that translates into a very pleasant without level to increase the gain a lot.

  So I guess my questions would be I'm actually saving half the signal change their view by simply using the left

  and if that's true, I just have to continue recording in multitrack view using the configuration I described above.

  It's just a signal level - you actually lose anything. You can't actually say it is 'half' a signal - it is just a signal at a different level. And you can always get the audition level without loss by record or convert your signal in 32 bits (native format of the hearing) to floating point and it normalize to the level of what you want. When you have only a mono microphone - a track is all you need, there is absolutely no benefit to the recording of two tracks. As to how you save (MV or EV), well it is entirely up to you – that really suits you. The only notable difference is that EV record in a temporary file to be saved in a permanent file later and MV went directly to a file.

  Do you use a microphone preamp with your microphone if you use the entries in the? If you're not, you don't get something like the good structure with the card, such as a microphone does not what whether as enough signal to drive an entry to the correctly. It is a hardware problem, and not one that you can correct for with software, because it will significantly change the signal to noise ratio.

  Is it possible (via settings, plugins or any other method) which would not have me keep remove my helmet during the recording of voice over?  I think there should be a way, as all the other basic videos editing software out there puts mute your headset when you save a voice above.  I do it for the type of videos (show comic compilation) I do about 100 small voiceover, as I edit my videos and I have to do both at the same time (which means, I can just make the changes, then go back and redo one voice).  If it completely slows the flow of work to have to keep my helmet on and outside.

• problems with Sierra

  Since download macOS Sierra on my MacBook Pro I couldn't access one of my external hard drives, my mac just does not recognize them in Finder although she acknowledged more small sticks of data. Can someone help me?

  When I go to disk utility, that the external drive is there but the system indicates that the disk is full. Anyway, that I can't have my data.

  I spent over an hour with technical support and they were also perplexed I was much help in the end. Their only suggestion was that the configuration of the software had been changed by the download and I'd need to buy a new external drive and copy my files across using another machine. Well I bought a new external drive today only to find that it is not recognized either in the Finder and is also read as full in disk utility.

  Any ideas people? I would really appreciate your help

  External drive would not be formatted with the NTFS file system isn't it?

  With Sierra Safari 10 is very slow in the keyboard entry. Chrome with Sierra in the same web sites works well. Any suggestions?

  Safari/Preferences/Advanced - activate the menu to develop it, then go ahead and empty Caches. Quit/relaunch Safari and test. Then try Safari/history/Show History and remove all items from the history.  Quit/relaunch Safari and test. You can also try try Safari/Clear History... The downside is that it deletes all cookies. It could upset some sites no longer recognizes your computer as one that has visited the web site. Go to Finder and select your user folder. With this Finder window as the windshield, select Finder/display/display options for presenting or order - J.  When the display options opens, check "show the library folder. This should make your visible user library folder in your user folder.  Select Library./Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db, and then move it to the trash.

  Go to Safari preferences/Extensions and disable all extensions. Test. If correct, enable the extensions one by one until find you which extension is causing the problem.

  Yes, I can confirm that Final Cut Pro seems to work correctly with Sierra except for the graphical Glitch in the Panel of timecode as others have focused on the FCP.co. I have reset FCP preferences by pressing Command + Option when you start the PCF 10.2.3. I've not yet installed, but third party extensions I heard some or many of those that are problematic, so we'll just wait for updates more I guess.

  It is never wise to update an operating system (of any type) until all your applications and plugins have been updated, too.  Apple usually has their own developed applications to update for a few weeks, or an OX update.  It can come in the form of a simple update of the video Pro Support package.  Or we can see updates for pro applications individually.  Nobody knows.  But I don't know that it will correct this.
