voltage

I am in a position the output of a piezoelectric sensor.  It's just a generator of analog voltage with output to two pins.  Rated power rises almost a volts peak to peak, and when I have those two pins feed scope, I see exit in this neighborhood when I stimulate (type on) unit, at least rise above 400mV peak-to-peak.

Now, I would like to read this same sensor via a USB-6009.  I had no luck in unbalanced mode (almost all the noise), but the signal seems correct in differential mode.  If I connect a sensor just to the AI0 + and AI0 - pines on the 6009.  I do all my tests in the "Test Panel" Max right now.  I have install the channel, generally defined entries max/min 1 and -1, respectively, than the configuration entry in the "differential", set the "continuous" mode and the rate to 1000 Hz and 'samples to read' to 1000 (so the screen is updated once per second).

Here are the two questions I have:

Output overall is a very low reading compared to what I'm used toseeing on the scope.  Instead of hundreds of millivolts, I see more as 60mV peak-to-peak.  Signal-to-noise isn't bad, but I feel it could be much better, and it's better when I read the same signal on other devices (a scope, for example).  Some advice on why I see this output low voltage when wiring in the differential analog inputs on the 6009?  Here is a picture of my capture window:

* Second question: almost every time that I have to stop and reset on the device, I get the following error:

I have to unplug the device and taking again to make it work again.  There is nothing particularly CPU happening on my machine, I am not anywhere near the limit of bandwidth of the device or bus and it feels not like it's really a matter of charge anyway since it works _always_ the first time I press 'start '.  Soft-reset the device does not help when this happens, I need to unplug the device and plug it in again.  Any ideas what might be happening here?

Thank you!

-Dan

A piezoelectric sensor generates a charge and has a very high impedance. The correct way to fit your 6009 is a charge amplifier. It is possible to measure the power as a tension, however you need at least an amplifier with a very high impedance of entry AND short cables Hat!

If your results are very reasonable take a look at the two devices input impedance.

Depending on your skills to weld a simple (maybe not so linear) charge amplifier can be build with a high, low impedance input amp bias current op and a capacitor (poly) > resistance 10 M...

Take a look at this LT1113 OP

or the LMH6611.

  • Can I charge my iPod with my iPad charger or different voltage

Can I charge my iPod Classic with my iPad charger or the voltage is different?

The voltage is the same, so you can try it safely.  Apple says...

Using the iPad with your iPhone, iPad, and iPod - Apple Support power adapters

However, I have seen the reports here this iPod classic does not work with some of Apple's USB adapters.  For example, it is the adapter of 12 watts of power, which is the one that is provided with some iPad models

    http://www.Apple.com/shop/product/MD836LL/A/Apple-12W-USB-power-adapter

While other iPods are listed under compatibility, iPod classic is not.  The smaller adapter 5 watts of power (which came with mini iPad)

    http://www.Apple.com/shop/product/MD810LL/A/Apple-5W-USB-power-adapter

shows iPod classic models under compatibility.  Another power supply supplied with iPads works 10 watts; There is no separate current entry for it in the Apple Store.

  • Satellite A300 - voltage to the Mexico problem

Currently, I use my Satellite A300 in Europe (I bought it here too), where the voltage is 230V.
I go to the Mexico and I would like to take this laptop with me.

However, in Mexico, they have a different voltage - AFAIK 100-127V.
Is it enough to buy the new adapter arriving at the Mexico?

    Thanks for the reply!

    Hello

AFAIK all Toshiba laptops are equipped with adapters that supports an entry universal voltage 100 ~ 240V 50/60 Hz.

As you can see, the input voltage may be between 100V and 240V. I think that you will have no problem to the Mexico ;)

  • Qosmio X 500 - 11U - Eco Utility unable to check the voltage

    Hello

I install the new version of the utility 1.2.11.64 eco (eco - 20100526090958.zip or TC00149401E.exe) and now, when the computer restarts, I have an error like this: impossible to check the voltage or a similar message.
Works of utility but nothing seen on the graph, and the left button on the keyboard switch eco - standard mode!

Any answer to this problem or am I alone with this?
Thank you in advance for help

    Hey Buddy,

I never saw such a message of error of Eco Utility even I use Eco Utility for months. I've never had a problem with this utility and it works very well, it saves a lot of energy, especially if you work in battery mode.

In any case, maybe something went wrong during installation, so you must remove Eco Utility and restart your laptop. Then use CCleaner to clean and repair Windows registry and restart again. After that download and install Eco Utility again.

    I hope it works! :)

  • Can I connect 220V AC voltage directly at HP Pavilion 8766C?

    Hello!

I live in Greece and I would like to know if I can connect directly to a Pavilion 8766C 220V AC.

    Thanks in advance!

Take a read of this section on the power supply. First of all, you should make sure that the voltage selector is 220 VAC.

Once you take care of it, so it's no problem using 220 VAC.

    Kind regards

  • Upgrade memory voltage

Hi - I have a HP Pavilion t685.uk, with 1 GB of RAM - I want to add more RAM. Memory cards are DDR-400 s, however, when I look online to purchase one, I find there are 2 different voltages available - 2, 5V and 2, 6V. I looked in all the documents that I have for the PC, but nowhere no it tells me the RAM voltage.

    I noticed here...

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/desktop-hardware/upgrading-memory/m-p/124/highlight/true#M3

This tension is not mentioned - but it is certainly important?

In any case, I need to know the voltage and the purchase of the module OK, or is - this important step?

If I need to know the blood - how will I know?

    Thanks in advance!

    Robin

PC3200 is THAT DDR SDRAM designed to operate at 200 MHz using DDR - 400 chips with 3 200 MB/s bandwidth. Because PC3200 memory transfers data on both fronts and clock, its effective clock rate is 400 MHz. (Source here)

See here the memory (in number thereon) refers to the PC-3200 (200 Mhz).

The final answer: you can install up to (4) 1 GB PC3200 DDR400 modules. The system will show around 3.25 to 3.5 GB of memory. (Please don't ask, it's just the simple truth about 32-bit OS).

  • Satellite A100-495 - Win7 show too high battery voltage

    Hello

    I upgraded my laptop old but reliable (A100-495) too Win7 X 64.
Now, I recognized that Win7 Manager energy shows that 67% remaining at full charged battery...
I checked with several energy programs - all expect a 15V for battery voltage.
But the A100 battery only have 10.8V.

This happens with 3 different batteries.
Does anyone else have this problem? No idea how to say that the battery has only 10.8V to Win7?
I tried to reinstall the drivers from the battery and ACPI - but it did not help.
Multiple load / uncharging also showed no change.
The best battery last for about 90 minutes, not too bad but battery starts already after 30 minutes...
Allows you to change the values of caution - a little - but even after to 0% it works for about 20 minutes...

    Any help appreciated ins

    concerning
    BR,

    > But the A100 battery only have 10.8V.
Looks like the battery nears the end
    How old is the battery?
Each battery would start to lose own performance after about 500 charge cycles.
    This should be considered.

  • Hard drive 4SNS HARD drive voltage error > SSD in iMac end 2012

Hello - I replaced a HARD drive of 1 TB on an iMac 13.1, end of 2012 with a Samsung 850 500 GB SSD, closed and buttoned to the top of the machine without problem and started and attempt to restore backup time machine. This process completed 85% and then stalled. To restart, I'm stuck in a loop of the error. I ran diagnostic test and received the following code:

    4SNS/1/40000001:VH1R-0.000

At first, I thought it was a missing thermocouple that many articles will guide you, but seems it's only on models 2011, not 2012 as in my case.

I opened again and confirmed that the cables are well connected, represented diag and have the same error. Any other suggestions? The player would be bad?

    Thank you!

    Dan

This error, as you already know, is for the hard drive voltage sensor. Replace the hard drive and EEA, what is happening. It looks like a bad SSD.

  • Can I charge my iPad using a voltage converter and an outlet of 50 Hertz in Europe?

IF I want to reload my iPad in a foreign country with 230 v AC and 50 hertz can do with a (at 115 v) voltage converter and still using 50 Hz instead of 60 Hz? Who will work ok without damage to the iPad?

If you use the charger supplied with your iPad, it will switch automatically. You may need an adapter outlet such as those at Travel Kit for the Apple world.

  • DV6 - 2173cl: what is the AC adapter voltage/amperage on laptop Hp dv6 - 2173cl?

What is the voltage and amperage for the power adapter for the HP Pavilion dv6 - 2173cl laptop. ?

I read the manual and it says adapter 90 w, but nothing on the power or intensity.

I see some site say 19V @4.74 amps is the replacement for this model adapter. However, other sites argue that 18.5W @6.5 Amps is the real substitute. I've also seen adapters CA / CC with 19.5V of note in suggested replacement. Someone knows with certainty what is the original mark of tension and intensity of the orginal for the dv6 AC adapter - 2173cl?

In the spare parts list, hp recommends replacing it with power adapter 120W. It is another question, I want to ask. What is the nominal power on this adapter: Manual HP 90W or 120W HP suggestion of replacement part?

    Thank you!

    Hello

Please keep or to bookmark the following information:

    http://PartSurfer.HP.com/search.aspx?SearchText=WA782UA

The original was AC Smart (90 Watt) power adapter - input 100-240 VAC, 47 to 63 Hz - output 19.0VDC, 4. 74 a, 90 watts, with power factor correction (PFC)

You can't buy the original now, so you can buy the one with 19V @4.74 amps.  18.5W @6.5 Amps is correct because machine accepts voltage +/-3% to 5%.

    Kind regards.
