  I recommend first of all check the Panel of office for updates.  Some of these must be installed prior to 8.1 will update correctly in all cases.

  1. Click the button start (bottom left) and choose Control Panel
  2. Click system and security, and then choose 'Find updates' in the Windows Update section
  3. After they are all installed and restart you, check again because some must be installed before others are offered
  4. Open the app Store and download the 8.1 update if you work with all the latest patches and updates

  If it still does not respond, someone mentioned that they had some success by pressing Ctrl-Shift-Escape, then disabling items on the tab startup (especially those related to the sound).

  At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu

  Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

  Where did you buy the RAM module?  If it was not directly a source of Apple, you did it sure it was for the year and the time of year of output of your model (i.e. mid-2006 MacBook Pro)?  To identify the age, go to this tip:

  Specs such as CT541631 CT2KIT12864AC667.000 are totally superfluous, unless they also indicate what year and the time of year, the model came out.

  Yes - VMware using the Windows swap file - so you should make sure that it's enough - big and put it on a fast drive

  You can also use a memory file in each directory of virtual machines, but this is not so good that using the real RAM + pagefile

  Start the PC in safe mode then go back to the display settings and set the resolution to a lower level.

  You start in Mode safe by constantly pressing the F8 key as your PC starts. A menu will appear and you must select the Safe Mode option.

  Once you have changed the screen resolution, you can restart your PC normally.

  Make sure that you "only" to select an output of the range option.
