Volume license key

I had Windows XP on my computer for more than two years now, and all of a sudden, it says that I don't have windows genuine.
How is that possible?  It was fine and sent each time, but now it is not good.
How can this be?

    Hello

I have a Captivate 6 volume license key. It works fine on our Windows PC. I have a staff member who has a Mac and I want to install it on his mac, but it is said that the key is not valid.

Can you please tell me if my key must be valid for Mac as well?

How can I get the mac version of the key?

  • Volume license key fails on the rear roller leveling

My W7 was a real install Ultimate 64 bit all active and works very well for several years.

Yesterday I went ahead with the upgrade: W10 and issues had therefore rolled back to interior W10 correct use W7 will restore process.

W7 upward and works well... but the original product key now find is no longer there, a temp it is in place.

I have an impression of all my product keys - so thought I'd be fine... but when I go to computer > system > update product key it fails with the error Code 0xC004E003

I went to the telephone activation pushes you to the activation of the smart phone and who expects key ID of Installation containing numbers in sets of 6 or 7 not product keys

My product key is in the form xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx

It is a real installation... If I have the volume license to install, so that can be used to create the new key without destroying my installation required.

Based on your report, you use an OEM SLP Windows 7 Ultimate license to a generic motherboard. You can buy a genuine license.

  • volume license 20-digit versus 25 characters product key activation

A week or two ago I was given an HP computer XP Professional sp3.

The operating system and the computer are older than 5 years

I want to restore the operating system to its "factory condition".

I DO NOT have the installation disk so I created a professional to xp bootable installation disk using the files on my hard drive.

The disk has been created; and to test it, I used another computer with a newly formatted hard drive.

Everything was going well until I came to the Web page requesting the key 25-digit product and Volume License product key.

I take 25 characters of the label on my HP computer case and was rejected.

I then they are in the 25-character activation code (obtained from the HP computer) and was again rejected.

I found a 20 digit SPSS (?) Volume license key (?) but this was rejected.

My goal is to have the xp professional willing to meet my needs

    and

Having a way to reinstall xp professional following a catastrophic failure total

  • ProBook 5540 s: license key.

    Hello

I recently had to change my SSD and reinstall the OS using the HP CD. My laptop is not a sticker, I think MS support is common and HP integrate the license key into the material. I used an app, Belarc, to retriev the keys to license a clone SSD, I have the main SSD, it's 74T2M-DKDBC-788W3-H689G-6P6GT. When I entered the license key post erroneous and he also failed on the W10 clean install. After various discussions with MS support I understand that HP can disable the key after a hardware change. I also found an indication that it is a "common" key of some sort - see below. My question is; is that correct and if so, how can I get the unique key that is associated with my laptop?  Or is what I was advised wrong and got a license key doubtful for the last 3 years?

Thank you very much and any help/advice appreciated

See below for excerpts of conversations of MS and the other ref forums this key

It's the difference between the OWM_SLP and COA_SLP keys. All machines supplied by HP (everywhere!) with Win 7 Pro will be the next key 74T2M-DKDBC-788W3-H689G-6P6GT they will also have a COA sticker on them with the COA_SLP key that is specific to this machine. If your accounts are not aware of this, they live in cloud cuckoo-land. Please post a MGADiag report for one of the disputed machines - if the specified key is a key OEM_SLP, then you are OK - if it's anything other than a Volume license key, then you are in trouble, technically.

    MS

HP integrates their license in the material in which if there are any material changes the key will be disabled. I know this can be difficult. Here's what I suggest. It will be useful to contact HP in this regard in order to check which is the original incorporated on this hardware key, I'm sure they have a tool to check the key associated with the material. As soon as we have this we can then easily re-activate your windows.

    Hello

Yes thanks I found it here. I had this battery repeatedly replacing the SSD and after I posted I remembered to see 'something' under the battery and he was there.

  • question about volume license cd and retail key__

I am in the process of a computer repair (bad mem and corrupted os). The xp operating system installation cd only I have is for a volume license. As I intend to sell or donate a computer, for obvious reasons, I don't want to put the volume license key in the public domain. The former owner has the disc with a touch of detail record but lost the cd.

The question is can I use the cd volume and use the retail key?

    NO.

  • Convert individual license keys to Volume key?

    Hello

I'm looking for in a company where they (years) bought a lot on the products individually boxed, with unique license keys.

However, they are now looking to implement a managed desktop where software applications will be deployed automatically.  It can happen that there is a lot of individual licenses.

Is there a process to Adobe to convert licenses; then change 10 individual keys in a 10 key NAV user?

If so, is it only available for the current versions or older versions too? Or older versions will be upgraded first?

    Thank you.

Volume licensing applies to the current version. You certainly need to do some sort of upgrade. How the numbers your existing software, is really only something that you can find by directly contacting the Sales Department and ask for an offer.

You can say what you want to say, but that does not correct.
It is and has never been, an edition of Windows XP called
    'Corporate Edition.' See below.

    > There is a very big difference in the product keys for Corporate/Home/Pro/Media Center. What often confuses a lot of people say there is no Enterprise edition or that it is a code name for a pirate software is the fact that it is an essentially the same as professional.

You talk about "Volume Licensing" of Windows XP
Professional Edition. What you are saying is correct, except that your name
for this volume license is incorrect. It is * not * called "Corporate".
Edition' and the term 'Enterprise Edition' has been used almost exclusively
    for pirated copies.

  • When we sell our software we want to remove our volume licensing, the buyer can apply to their own license. This procedure is possible?

    * Original title: Volume License

The company that I work uses several virtual machines of windows volume licenses.  When we sell our software we want to remove our volume licensing, the buyer can apply to their own license.  This procedure is possible?

Yes, just remove the virtual machines.

You can even uninstall the product key.

    Click Start, type: CMD
    Right-click on CMD
    Click on run as administrator
At the command prompt, type: slmgr.vbs - upk

Press enter, this will uninstall the product key of the computer and to the evaluation mode, you are now free to use it on another computer.

  • How many PC can I install Windows 7 (full retail Version) on the use of the SAME LICENSE key.

I know that is 3 PCs for Windows XP, and Vista is 2 or 3. Basically, I just want to know if it's always 3 since I have 2 desktops and a laptop I want to install it on. And no, I'm not to ask questions about the upgrade, I mean the FULL VERSION on the RETAIL OWN INSTALLER.

Well, I installed Vista on 2 desktops at home and have installed XP on 3 desktops at home of the parents of my friends, all with the same CD key. So, apparently, you can use 1 cdkey more than once, but I expect to be able to use the 1 key on 3 machines I currently own. I wil definitely not buy 7 if I can't use it on more than one facility in my home...

Looks like you were using Windows XP volume license distribution and a cracked disc of Windows Vista.
