volume of gray which keeps popping up

I have a grey volume that keeps popping up in the middle of my screen.  It won't let me click on it and blocking the middle of the screen.  Suggestions on how to get rid of it?

Hello

(1) when exactly the volume box popup display?
(2) since when are you facing this problem?
(3) remember to make changes?

Method 1: Try to send the screenshot of the popup to get help.

Method 2: Clean Boot Mode
I suggest to maintain the computer in clean boot mode and check if the problem still persists. A clean boot to check if startup item or services to third-party application is causing this issue.
You can read the following article to configure the computer to boot:
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135
Note: After the troubleshooting steps, please refer to clean the start link to configure the computer to normal startup mode.
Hope this information helps.

Follow step 1 in the link below,

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

If everything works well after a clean boot, you can deduce that some third-party services are at the origin of the problem.

Continue with the remaining steps to pin-point on the third party service.
After find you the program that is causing the problem, you will have to perhaps to update or install a newer version of the program, if you rarely use that you should consider uninstalling the software.

Important: n ' forget not to put the computer to a normal startup follow step 7 in the link.

    Hello

It seems that you are confused between the D: computer manufacturer recovery partiton and the MALICIOUS software called Windows Recovery

they are 2 completely Different tthings

and you can't buy the manufacturers recovery partition; It is already on your hard drive

your computer is infected with malware

Read and follow ALL the information on the link below

Windows Recovery is a program of analysis and optimization of fake computer that displays false information in order to scare you into believing that there is a problem with your computer. Windows Recovery is installed via Trojan horses that display fake error messages and warnings of security on the infected computer. These messages will state that there is something wrong with the hard drive of your computer, and then suggests that you download and install a program that can solve the problem. When you click on these alerts, Windows recovery will be automatically downloaded and installed on your computer.

Once installed, Windows Recovery will be configured to start automatically when you log in to Windows. Once started, several error messages appear when you try to launch programs or delete files. Windows recovery will then prompt you to scan your computer, which will then find a variety of errors, he said, he can't fix until you purchase the program. When you use the defragmentation tool called it will specify that it should run in Mode safe and show then a background in Mode Safe false who pretended to defragment your computer. As this program is a scam do not be scared by buying the program when you see its alerts.

you try to download a statement of income and the above "microsoft visual c ++ runtime library" keeps popping up

Compliments of Robinson Zhang, MSFT, Moderator:

For the most part, this kind of error can be caused by two factors:

    1. components Runtime Library Visual C++ are missing.

    2. software problem.

If the problem is caused by #1, you can reinstall Visual C++ Library Runtime components to solve the problem.

If the problem persists after installing above package, the question must be a software problem. I suggest you take a cheque to boot this is a software conflict problem. If this isn't the case, it is always recommended to fix the problem with the support of the manufacturer. Thank you for your understanding.

    =============================

    1. click on start, type "MSCONFIG" (without the quotes) in the search bar and press "Enter" to start the System Configuration utility.

    2. click on the 'Services' tab, check "Hide all Microsoft Services" and click on 'Disable All' (if it's not gray).

    3. click on the 'Startup' tab, click 'Disable All' and click on 'OK '.

4 restart the computer and test the issue.

Note: The clean boot is a troubleshooting step. If some programs have been disabled, we can reactivate later. If you see the System Configuration utility, check the box "don't show me this message again" and then click "OK".

Please follow the system in the boot environment. If the problem does not occur, it indicates that the problem is related to an application or a service, we have disabled. You can use the MSCONFIG tool again to reactivate the disabled one by one element to find the culprit.

    I hope this helps.

  • Windows 7 "Help and Support" keeps popping up.

I tried all the things in the virus check to clean start windows 7 to recharge. The help and Support windows keeps popping up. Why can not simply disable the "helpane.exe"? I can't delete it as it is. To do this I'll have to get another computer.  I had to put it in my computer to work with the pop up window, I can't do anything else!

Well, I encountered this problem and I see a lot of people ask this question, but I understood what my question was, maybe this will help you if you are still having the problem or others have the problem.

The problem I had is that there is not exactly the impression that "Help and Support" said anything, but it was, he told me that he tried to open an unsupported help file (something that we install shows a help when your connection after a restart file).  So basically, if you use an older program that has files of help that are not supported by Windows 7 or Vista, it comes up with a general help and screen Support saying that he could not open the help file, but not telling me that you or give me an idea as using that file has problems.  I worked a little with our software and knew what help file was being pulled up, I have therefore been able to stop it, but I suggest to check the help files for your software to see which ones that might not work.

The most recent (June 2013) Java update caused this problem happen in my Internet Explorer 9. When I encountered this problem during a previous Java updated earlier this year, I managed to fix it by disabling the Java modules, as others have suggested.

I just tried the same solution again and it solved the problem again. Here is the solution I used:

Follow instructions of Tadasha Mithra (see above) in the "method 2" by steps a to c, but instead of stage d - e, I had to do the following instead: "."

d: in Internet Explorer, go to Tools, select Manage Add-ons. A window should appear listing your modules. In the drop-down "Show" menu, select "all add-ons". Reload the list of modules in the right pane.
e: scroll down the list until you get to the items listed under «Oracle, America, Inc.» Right click on each of the elements it and select 'Disable'.

The only way I could solve this problem in my IE9 was by disabling all the modules related to Java (i.e. by assigning everything that was on the "Oracle America, Inc." to "disabled"). But I'm not very teccy so you should be able to solve the problem by turning off only some of them.

If you are worried about the ability to disable it, you can see these two pages dealing with Java SSV helper doing and whether it is necessary:

    Hi Trudelle,

Thanks for joining us again with your answer.

For the particular problem I suggest you follow these methods and check.

    Method 1:

I also suggest that you scan your computer with the Microsoft Security Scanner, which would help us to get rid of viruses, spyware and other malicious software.

The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

Important: During the scan of the hard drive if bad sectors are found, the scanner tries to fix this sector, all available on which data may be lost

    Method 2:

I suggest that you go on the link disable add ons and check. Here is the link for your reference.

    Follow these steps:

    a. click Start, select all programsand right click on Internet Explorer.

    b. Select run as administrator.

    c. click on allow in the box user account dialog

    d. in Internet Explorer, go to Tools, select Manage Add-onsand select Select or Disable Add-ons.

    e. here click SSVHelper class and select disable under settings, click on OK.

PROBLEM SOLVED (for me)!  I had this problem for a week on my new computer.  Seemed that the 'Start' button has been continually pressed.  Do you happen to have a wireless keyboard that you have changed out for another which is always close to your computer... like I did.  Turns out I forgot to pull the battery in my wireless keyboard and also has not entered the USB for remote transmitter/receiver.  I got the keyboard on a shelf above the computer.  The button 'Start' was pressed against a book so it was always "pressed" and always communicate with the computer.  Just happened to do that, when I thought if something goes wrong with my original keyboard.  When I out took it of the shelf, the problem stopped.  I hope this helps!
