Volume of Smartphones Apps and bluetooth blackBerry

My headset Bluetooth volume is fine when I use it to make calls.   I have two streaming audio apps, Pandora and TuneIn Radio (recent versions of both).  The volume of these two applications is fine by speaker phone, but that is ridiculously low with the bluetooth headset, even when I turn the volume up on the headset and the phone.  The volume of bluetooth with apps is well below the volume of bluetooth for phone calls.

Is there any solution for this?  The phone is a 9670, and it's software version is 6.0, if I read it correctly.

I found the answer on the site Web of Pandora.

http://help.Pandora.com/customer/portal/articles/24339-using-Bluetooth-with-Pandora-on-BlackBerry

I have a mono bluetooth A2DP headset and it works fine, now, with Pandora and TuneIn.  The helmet of problem was non-A2DP.

  • Smartphone App World for blackBerry error - not available in the App World updated

BlackBerry has sent me a message that an update was available for one of my apps game 'shoppers paradise '.   When I click on the link to download the upgrade, it gives me an error message that the upgrade is not available via App World.

Is anyone else having this problem?  BlackBerry is working on this issue?

    Anyone, please help...

    Thank you

    Bob

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

Could have happened to several things:

    (1) the proponent has misidentified something and the AppWorld catalog is messed up now

    (2) RIM has made a mistake and the AppWorld catalog is messed up now

    (3) there may be some technical problem that it blocks

    (4) I don't know there is more...

    As to your question:

    BOBJ says:
BlackBerry is working on this issue?

It is impossible for anyone here to know the answer to this. What I suggest is that you contact the developer of the app and report it. They have a different channel in RIM thanks to which they can increase getting AppWorld corrected to properly distribute their application.

If you want to degenerate into RIM, you through your formal support channel - your carrier.

    Good luck!

  • Volume 2.10 app and SQL 2014?

I want to spend my Volumes of the App from the local instance of SQL Express database to something stronger.

I restored a backup of the database on purpose and he had made a new database.  Then I created a Connector ODBC 32-bit to the new instance on another server successfully, but AV web page said he could not connect in the database script.

Then, I ran C:\Program Files(x86) \CloudVolumes\Manager\svmanager_setup.bat and restarted the service volume app.  I got the same error.

I noticed the server computer account and the account of service were the two db_owners on the database.

I noticed that the SQL server instance, they gave me was 2014 SQL.  The system requirements for AV 2.10 said SQL 2012 SP1.

Has anyone successfully run AV 2.10 with SQL 2014?

2.10 AV is not compatible SQL 2014. Please try with SQL 2012 (SP1).

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Audiobooks and bluetooth

Anyone know if you can listen to audio books through a jaw or any other bluetooth device?

    Hello

It is an mp3 file which is compatible for Blackberry. (Audible.com)

on the site of the jaw
"22. can I listen to music on the jaw?
It is possible, but the sound is not stereo. "Also because the jaw is optimized around voice and no music, the sound quality will be not what you are accustomed to the audience through your standard stereo headphones.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones GPS and Bluetooth

I plan to make a device as the Motorokr T505 that let's you send call cellphone via Bluetooth from the curve to the T505 so that there the hands free and easier to hear via the T505 speaker.  I would also like to convey instructions from my GPS to the T505, but I don't see any curve setting that would allow me to do.  Does anyone know if the GPS data can be sent to a Bluetooth device?

I found the solution.  When I tried to make the GPS directions stronger, I pushed the speaker button.  Much to my surprise, he looked for the bluetooth device.  When I turned on my helmet, GPS voice instructions went directly to the headset.  It works very well.  The only problem is a slight delay.

Problem solved. Now if someone could just find a way to get the sound of the Sprint TV to the bluetooth headset...

  • Forgotten issue of Smartphones, password and security blackBerry

    Hello

I have a real dilemma. Not only I seem to enter a wrong password, but I forgot as truly the question of safety.

I wanted to subscribe to BlackBerry messenger (not necessary not previously) and also got stuck trying to use my BlackBerry Playbook.

Is there a solution when I seem to have incorrect information for both?

    Helen

Hello and welcome to the community!

There are several different security credentials in the world of the BB... but what you have said, I guess you're saying your BlackBerry ID. Therefore, start first with these please:

    • KB28685 How to reset the BlackBerry ID password by using the password recovery question
    • KB32111 "The link is no longer valid." occurs when you attempt to reset a BlackBerry ID password
    • KB26361 How to change or reset the BlackBerry ID password
    • KB28111 Impossible to reset the BlackBerry ID password when using a hosted BlackBerry email address
    • KB28232 Reset blackBerry ID e-mail are not delivered to the mailbox associated with

If you have forgotten your ID BB credentials AND access non - BB (for example, Outlook, webmail, etc.) for the e-mail account which is currently configured on your account ID from BB, then these instructions should allow you to recover access to your account ID from BB.

However, if you do not have access to this e-mail account, then your challenge is much larger, and you have a choice to make depending on your situation:

    1. If you have no AppWorld records you need to keep (for example, buy folders for the applications), then simply drop the BB ID and create a new. To do so, however, requires a device WIPE:

      • KB26694 How to change the BlackBerry ID on a BlackBerry smartphone or BlackBerry PlayBook Tablet
    2. But, if you do not have AppWorld documents that you need to keep, then you need human intervention. To receive, you must ring to the top of your mobile service provider and convince them to escalate your case up to BlackBerry. In addition, you must convince BlackBerry you with a solution - which probably will be reset your current BB ID so that you can access it again or you will need to create a new BBID and they will manually move your purchase to the wire records. Note that I don't know if they will be willing to do, but there is no other way I know of to keep your prior AppWorld purchase records.

    Good luck!

In addition, you can try to clear the application cache AppWorld:

    1. open the App World

    2. go to my world

    3. follow one (and only one!) of these steps:

    3. for the BB keyboard-oriented - hold down the ALT key and press on, in the sequence R, then S, then T

3B. for touch screen only BBs - hold the num-lock (! 123 button) so that it hangs and then press on, in the sequence 3, then 4, then)

    4 AppWorld must close

    5. If your BB locks after issuing clear cache, do a battery pull reboot

    6. return to AppWorld/MyWorld (it can be slow, while it re - sync).

  • Smartphone App World for blackBerry errors

    Hello!

I'm not English, but I can't find any solution for this problem on other sites. So, of course I will make many mistakes, but don't worry it.

In any case, I have a BlackBerry Curve 8520, which cannot connect to App World and I know not why (just two or three weeks it worked perfectly).

In fact, when I try to connect the phone to the App World, he says (I'm translating from Italian):

"It is impossible to set up a connection with Blackberry App World. Check that the device is connected to the wireless network, and then try again.

This is the first post that appeared. But after three or four days, the message has changed in:

"BlackBerry App World is finding problems connecting to servers of BlackBerry. Check the network connection and try again.

I don't know if there are large differences from the first to the second message, but I just wrote.

If I'm going in "Connection Manager" then in Wi - if options, it says I'm connected (in fact I can surf the NET with the browser without problem), but the Wi - if the icon is gray/mast.

In addition, I have another problem:

My school offers a free access Wi - if connection, but when I try to connect to it, the device says:

"Unable to get an IP address."

So, I hope that I'm going to find solutions here!

If I have a bad English and you don't understand what I wrote: tell me and I'll try to explain better.

    Bye!

    Hello!

Well, once you're in my world Option, you can click on upgrades for the upgrade of the existing application of pre.

Or when you are on the home screen of the App world just click on the app never you prefer, keeping your device connected to your laptop / desktop.

Once you click on any of the app, it automatically will help you to install the app.

I hope that solves your problem!

If your problem has been resolved then would you be asked to click 'Like' and accept as a 'Solution' that other advisors invest it times on this Message more.

    Thank you.

  • Smartphone App World for blackBerry problem

    Hello everyone,

I'm new here and I have a problem with my Blackberry Torch 9800. Everytime I try to upgrade an application, not the elements including one, he always tells me: 'there was a problem installing (the name of the application). Please try again later. ».

I did reset the cache of the AppWorld, but again, I can't be able to improve one of the applications installed.

Please someone help me because I'm going crazy!

PS: now after that I tried again to download AppWorld the phone tells me: ' Eception exception: java.lang.Error "...

    Real fo FML

Ahhh... now I think we are discovering more evidence of an underlying problem. Maybe OS corruption, maybe other things.

    Gosso07 wrote:

OK... you have all the links for the procedures you recommend me?

Well Yes... and they will not be the same things to try concerning the problem of the AW, but also the new problem. The first thing to do, however, is to ensure that you get a good backup and full... you can find instructions for that in the link in my sig auto on this post.

I recommend that you try to start safe mode:

    • KB17877 How to start a smartphone BlackBerry in Mode safe

It will take several attempts to get the combination of keys ESC (press/release/hold) OK, so be patient. When properly in Safe Mode, see what happens.

If the behavior continues, then well... think what happened just before this behavior started? A new application? An update? A theme? Something else? Think carefully that the slightest change can be causal... and try to undo all that was.

If the behavior persists, then proceed.

The next thing to try is the device WIPE:

    • KB14058 How to delete all data and applications in the smartphone BlackBerry using the security option wipe

Otherwise, the reload operating system follow steps.

At the top of each forum device, there should be some 'sticky' threads dealing with the level of the OS available for many models. If they understand your model, please use those as a reference as you go along. Otherwise, you will have to dig through the download portal official for packages of OS for your model:

From a PC, you can install any compatible OS package (for example, for your BB model exact number) of a BB via this procedure:

Note Although written to "recharge" and the storm, it can be used to upgrade, downgrade or recharge any BB device model - depends on the operating system package you download and install on your PC. If this OS package comes from one carrier other carrier for which your BB was built, then remove, on your PC, all copies of the SELLER. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:

    • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
    • C:\Users\(your Windows username) \AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

Don't forget that you remove, since your PC, any other BB OS devices as packages with more than one installed on the PC can cause conflicts with this procedure.

You can also study the use of BBSAK (bbsak.org) to perform the wipe what he is capable.

You can also try this procedure might limit the specific causal element:

    1. Load your OS "bare bones"... If everything is optional, do not install it.
    2. If the behavior is immediately, then try another OS with step 1
    3. If the behavior does not immediately, then run for as long as necessary to make you to be sure that the behavior will not occur.
    4. Add one more thing - no matter how tempting, one.
    5. If the behavior does not immediately present, and then runs for long enough to be sure he won't have the same problem
    6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until all things are responsible or the behavior presents

When the behavior shows up, you know the culprit... the last thing you have loaded.

If the behavior doesn't re-present, then you know that step 1 or 2 cured it.

If the behavior has anything, then you have probably a problem of material level for which no amount of OS or software can heal.

If you are on a MAC, you are limited to only your sanctioned carriers OS packages... but can still use any level they currently have to sanction. See this procedure:

  • Seisin of Smartphones App World for blackBerry...

Am I the only one who finds the whole App World implementation to be annoying beyond all utility?

My first and the biggest complaint is that the ONLY way to browse ALL applications, descriptions, and comments via the application App World, himself installed on my BB ("BOLD", AT & T, BIS). If you go on the site of the App World online with a PC, all you can see are 'Featured Apps' with a paragraph or less description, if that.

I saw the explanation using AW on your BB model, you will see the applications available for this model. Fine, but how hard it is to show this info on the web?

Of course, 3G and WiFi are great on my cell phone, but try to browse through hundreds (thousands? who knows?) applications on a cell phone (granted, a cell phone) is just a pain and a waste of resources. Why can't do research on my computer so I can go straight to the apps I want on my "BOLD"? Why can't buy & and/or send apps directly on the App World website (other than those recommended) without having to install the app on my BB AW?

This brings me to my second complaint. The App World app brings my "BOLD" to a crawl whenever I install it. He brings him to a crawl and finally she breaks down. I have confirmed that it is the App World application through several iterations of installs / uninstalls. Now, it is possible that I have too many apps already loaded for AW to run clean, but given that RIM has also chosen to let me install a mSD card up to 32 GB (not yet available yet), BUT will not LET RUN ME IT APPS, it is quite easy to load some large applications and fill the vacuum. W-T-H RIM, get with the program!

Let's face it - App World is a direct response to the Apple App Store, but if you're going to copy something - at least copy the parts that make it a success - EASY TO USE, FLEXIBILITY of USE, USABILITY &!

Oh, that's too funny! Features placed just under the - announcing the BlackBerry App World:

    • Ability to archive applications for an external memory source
    • Possibility to sort the categories of applications and search results using the following filters: popular, most recent, side, price, provider and App name
    • Improved application performance (faster image and icon loading)
    • Top free and paid applications are displayed
    • Access to BlackBerry App World using a browser on a computer (Coming Soon) *.

Gee, if I knew that RIM would address this quickly, I would have complained sooner - ROTFLMBO

  • Smartphone App World for blackBerry applications does not transfer to the new device (Curve 8330 - Verizon)

I have a new Blackberry Curve (8330) due to a security problem.  I changed my device PIN via Blacberry BIS - Verizon and my email accounts all function fine.  However, I got a few requests on BB App World which do not appear in 'my account' BB App World.  Is there anything else I need to do to get these apps on my device.  Thanks for any help on this.

    Hello!

To reinstall your applications, please follow this section of the AppWorld user guide:

When you connect to AppWorld/MyWorld (via PayPal references), it should get your old PIN of BB AppWorld account to the new.

For more information, registration keys, see this KB:

In some cases, it was discovered that reinstalls / updates (from got AppWorld apps) require additional steps in order to install the update. If the update will not install, please try this:

    1. Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Applications > highlight the app > > remove
    2. AppWorld > MyWorld > Login > highlight the app (if she shows at all, in any State) > > remove
    3. Use your PC (via the mass storage Mode) or your BB (via Media > > Explore) and find all references (folders, files) to the app delete everything you find. Search the memory of your device and your press card as well.
    4. Use the link to user guide AppWorld above for re - install the app - then predict a new activation/registration key

Regarding your question about how long it takes to get a response - it varies considerably. There is no member of RIM assigned paid staff regularly participate in the forums and therefore there is no SLA. The good people who regularly participate on a voluntary basis and spend a lot of time as they can-, but which will naturally be quite variable account held that they must have 'real jobs', as well as personal life. In general, 24 hours is a reasonable period, but may vary as well because of uncontrollable variables in the game.

    See you soon!

  • New smartphone App World for blackBerry issue to the torch

I tried for 4 days to enter books, and every time I try I get the following message: there is a problem with the blacberry app world. Please try again... I hope someone can help me, I'm so frustrated... :-(

    Torch 9800

    U.S..

OK, try this first, perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this way is prescirbed for most the gltiches and operating system errors, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

If after that, yet you can not, I try to re-isntalling AppWorld. Go to Options > device > application and delete AppWorld. And then reinstall it from your BlackBerry browser at www.blackberry.com/appworld

After you have reinstalled, please try downloading eReader.
