Volume on my Aspire M3970 on HDMI AMD desktop computer is too low.

Volume is now too low to be usable. I checked the connection etc. The parameters are all up. Summer in properties etc, no problem seen here. It is a recent issue as his has been authorized.

The monitor is Acer V273HL.

Keyboard is Acer SK9660 [maximized volume button].

Been through the skimpy manuals, considered discussion forums.

Help!

Hi PLW75

First thing, I would say that it is a recent issue is to use the system restore to a date when the sound worked OK.

If this does not work, connect a headset to see if the sound is returned to its former glory. It will also be interesting to try external speakers too. In addition, perform a reset on the screen, just in case.

If you are still having sound problems, go to the Device Manager & uninstall all audio devices. Restart your PC and Windows will now re - install the. Once done, restart - check sound levels.

Finally, if it STILL does not work, back up & reinstall Windows from your recovery or disk partition. Only then can we check if your sound card is at fault. If, after a recovery, there are still questions, then a new sound card will not solve the problem!

There is a setting you may have missed.  On the "rocket", go to settings / system settings / Volume and make sure it is set on high.  This is the setting that the EU region is not available.

  • Activate the integrated graphics controller (Acer Aspire M3970)

    Hi all

I hope someone is able to tell me if it is possible to activate the graphics controller embedded on the Acer Aspire M3970.
When I bought the pc, there was already an external graphics card in one of the slots. It contains only a HDMI and a DVI port, and the integrated graphics card has the possibility to use a HDMI and VGA port.
I was wondering if it is possible to use both the external graphics card and the integrated graphic card so I can use 2 HDMI ports, the VGA port and DVI port.

I know that most of the BIOS have an option to choose between what graphics card to use, but I can't seem to find it.
I thought I'd find in: BIOS > ADVANCED > Integrated Peripherals, but I don't have options:

    Hi poepsmurf2

As far as I know, you cannot use the graphics card and the edge together. You can buy a card with 2 HDMI or VGA and DVI ports.

    I hope this helps!

  • Satellite L50 - A - headset volume is too low

    Windows 64-bit of 8.1

The volume is too low when using a headset. I tried headphones and two different types of headphones on ear, both with no result. Office volume is set to maximum, as is iTunes and VLC.
I also DTS enabled, which has stimulated a little volume, but it is still too quiet.

Google search suggested the so-called "Compensation of volume" (playback devices > properties > improvements > Loudness equalization), which seems to be the generally accepted the problem solution, but that has not helped me at all.

I am a student in music that makes a fair bit of audio processing for the good sound is important to me and it makes me crazy, does anyone have any suggestions?

    Thank you

Eh, it's really hard to tell what the problem is here. As far as I know there is not much difference in how he works with internal or connected speakers earphones/headphones.

I have two Toshiba laptops and there is absolutely no any kind of difference. When I change the sound level, it reacts as usual, regardless if headphones are connected or not.
When you start some application open the volume mixer and check if the noise level is identical with a sound level for the speaker.

In addition, in the mic plugged in too... :(

  • Volume too low check on iPad.

I tried to record that I play on my electronic keyboard. The level of the microphone on my iPad 4 seems to be too low. There is no way to settle either. Even after put the volume of the keyboard to the max, and by setting the iPad on the speaker with the microphone down in the speaker, the recorded sound is extremely quiet. It is not a hardware problem since I can use FaceTime, Dictation or record audio with other applications without problem.

I noticed a lot of comments in the app store to complain of the same show. It seems to be mostly from the iPads. There are people who specifically referred to problems with the iPad 4, iPad 2, iPad mini 2 and iPad Air. Some have said that they do not have the same problem when using their iPod Touch or iPhone 6. Any ideas or suggestions?

I've seen several reports, that the problem has been resolved after updating to iOS 9.2.1.   Is this the version you are using on your iPad?

    Hi @MayurJoshi,

Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. I looked in your question about your HP Pavilion Notebook 15-p027tx and the game its too low. Here is a document on the sounds troubleshooting.

Please ensure that your edits were made on the laptop. In under his right click Device Manager and update driver. This is another step to try.

    1. right click the speaker icon in the lower right corner of your time.
    2. click on playback devices.
    3. click on speakers/headphones.
    4. click on properties.
    5. click on the Advanced tab in the Properties window.
    6. change the default menu Format in the highest quality.
    7. apply properties.
    8. click OK to close the Properties window.
    9. click OK to close the playback devices.

What browser do you use? I would check to make sure that the browser is up-to-date.

This occurs during playback of a DVD or CD?

Make sure that you don't have other things running in the back when a video plays as open Windows Explorer perform streaming.

Hope that helps you with the sound.

    Thank you.

  • How to install old firmware? The volume is too low!

I bought a rocket about 2 months ago, very happy with it when I bought it. He had the Firmware 1.00000000000000001 or something on it (an old anyway). I installed the new firmware 1.02.3F.

The first thing I noticed: volume max came down. MASSIVELY.

His way now too quiet, too quiet for car trips or train. I don't understand why it is not more discussion about this, its criminal. The EU removed ruin fun for everyone with their legislation deleted.

Anyway, nobody knows where I could find an old firmware which is not the volume cap and how to install it? I would be a happy Bunny.

You need not install old Firmware. Simply reset to the factory settings and to set the region at the "rest of the world', then you get a 'volume' option in Control Panel that you can set to high.

  • Too low maximum volume in Windows 7

I have upgraded to Windows 7 from Windows XP a few days ago, and the maximum volume is too low. All the settings are up, everything is correctly connected, all the drivers are up to date and Loudness equalization makes no difference. My software for speakers (Realtek HD Audio Manager) is not all the options that are not included in Windows 7 already. In Windows XP, I've been able to overcome that obstacle by adjusting the volume of wave, is there a way to do this at 7, or another way to increase the max volume?

  • An AMD Radeon 6970 graphics card will be compatible with my desktop computer?

I own a HP Pavilion HPE h8xt series desktop computer.

    -INtel Core i7-2600 processor

-16 GB of ddr3 RAM memory

    -460W power supply

From now on, I have an AMD Radeon 6850 in my office, but I want to know that if I buy a 6970, if it will be compatible in my office and if not will work properly. Or if he simply does not work.

Please answer as soon as possible because I need to know whether or not it is necessary to collect money for her for Christmas!

    Thank you!

    Hello

Make sure that this AMD Sapphire 6970 will adjust.  It is 9.8 "length.  I also checked the length on the Sapphire site.  It's a card double slot.  This map requires a PCI-E power connector 8 pins.

The Corsair CX600 is sufficient for the video card above.

You can review the performance comparison between the 6850 and 6970 to this site.  Notice the power for the use of 6970 which means more heat inside your PC.
