  Well, that was the question. I have now re-RIP all my files using Media Coder. The files were initially torn off using FreeRIP 3. All the files pulled from this program has been absolutely perfect on my computer.

   

  Fuze is apparently very, very selective on what program encodes him FLAC. Very annoying.

   

  For the record, I have re-torn my compression level 8 pieces, and they all play fine. Compression level so isn't the issue.

  I have major issues FLAC playing on my new Fuze (v1). Please see below.

  I read one of the FAQ, and here are the answers to questions that someone says people may need:
  1-3. Which operating system/version/SP do you use? Windows XP SP 3

  6. What are the steps that you do?

  In order: Sync had my music to the "rocket" using SyncEXP. Tried to play a FLAC with firmware v1.02.26. Resounding failure. The installer downloaded automatic firmware and updated to the latest firmware. New automatic detection of MSC USB settings. The installer of recycled auto firmware. Had to reset the USB Service Meteorological parameter of the Canada. Downloaded the firmware and copied in the root directory manually. Formatting system. Manually placed music in MUSIC folder. Manually updated firmware to level again. Power to bike system after each update of the firmware.

  7. What do you get?

  Read files FLAC ripped CD 16-bit, 2 channels, 44.1 kHz, ~ 500-1000 Kbps (most ~ 800 - 900 Kbps). All files have been verified to be fully functional on my computer. All play perfectly on my computer (using foobar). All files were torn at the level of quality FLAC 8 (maximum).

  Fuze recognizes files, album and Vorbis tags. However, when I play the files, it reads how long the first file is, but immediately she jumps.   Hmmm. If this isn't the tags, or mp3tag cannot correct them, it might be the encoder, which could in fact mean the re-Ripper PITA.

  I like free software for his idealism, but there sometimes whims. The "rocket" only recently added FLAC to its firmware, and he called to be picky about other things (like tags), then maybe the encoder Foobar is not completely compatible - especially since you said that you can play FLACs from other sources.

  Try searching for extraction of a track or two with Media Coder instead.  If it works... Well... you know what awaits us.

• Artist names in the tags capping to 16 characters on Fuze MP3

  A minor fault on the "rocket" - I recently noticed that some of the files MP3 I have on my Fuze of the artist name display truncated versions, even if the tags to display OK on my computer. On the rocket, SOME but not all MP3 files have a maximum of 16 characters for the name of the artist concerned. Odd.

  I wonder if I can do something to label Fuze-compatible.

  Fuze displays artists on Vorbis files in shape and even to MP3 files, but most of the MP3s I've recently encoded with Foobar2000 poster cutting on my rocket.

  Examples:

  Band name Zacharias Carls group appears as 'Zacharias Carls'

  "Apoptygma Berzerk" becomes "Apoptygma Berzer"

  "Echo & the Bunnymen" becomes a fun 'Echo and the Bunny '.

  In some cases, this cut production of the artist in two, when some files display the full name while others only 16 first letters.

  Strange, minor, but ideas for a solution?

  certainly a coding problem.  I hit myself.   I think that the problem is the songs of the artist to 16 characters truncating is ID3v2.4, UTF-8.  If you search the forum, there are some other threads on this topic.

• The Clip + supports Vorbis FLAC comments?

  I searched the forums but could not find conclusive evidence that the Clip + supports Vorbis comments that are the official standard for files FLAC.  99% of my library is in format FLAC with Vorbis comment tags only.

  Checked some files encoded and labelled by flac.exe (launched by ABC as a custom command, i.e. v - 6 t line encoder "artist = % a" t "title = %t" t "album = %g" t "date %y = ' t"= %n track number"%s) and tags went to my Clip + fine.)

• Vorbis comment problems

  Basically I have all my mp3s as vorbis, all using comments vorbis files. Most plays well, however, some are not, due to a specific comment on them. For example, output a file of vorbiscomment is the following:

  If the tag appears in bold, however, not here, it works perfectly.

  When the tag is there, just tracks scroll without playing one of them. It is not to the batch edit all tracks to delete this comment?

  It will be bulk - change a whole directory tree, and it's in the Ubuntu repository. Try it on a copy of a part of your library before releasing it on this...

• New Firmware, id3 and ReplayGain problem tags

  I have problems getting a few metafields id3 showing correctly with the new firmware (1.02.26F).
  With the previous firmware, I used 'id3v2.3 + id3v1' type tag and it work perfectly, but with the new firmware it does not recognize the ReplayGain values. So I tried with id3v2.4, but now it does not recognize the metafield value type and with some files show strange values for track/Album Gain (e.g., dB-46 shows, 440, instead of + 3.56 dB. It is interesting-46.44 - 3.56 =-50; or dB - 48, 10, instead of + 1.90 dB. (- 48.1 - 1, 90 = mmm... okay, all mp3 files with track/Album Gain greater than 0.00dB show '-50.00 + realvalue'). If I play these files with ON Replaygain, volume will be very slow (as expected) and it is not possible to change the output volume (i.e., the output volume is the same what the Volume slider position is located, except in muted, which will cut.) I guess, because the gain is too important, volume slider to maximum is not enough to ensure that the output out of minimum volume).
  I mean, mp3 files with:
  -' id3v2.3 + id3v1' and "id3v2.3" types of tags, will not show Replaygain values;
  -' id3v2.4 + id3v1' tag types, does not recognize kind metafield.
  -the types of tags "id3v2.4", recognizes no Genre, artist, Album and title metafields.
  ReplayGain values - > 0.00 dB, will display an incorrect value.

  In addition, in the track info:
  -None of them show year;
  -List them all track number as xy, where x = TRACK number and y = TOTALTRACKS metafields.
  -Ditto for the number of the disk. XY, where x = DISCNUMBER and y = TOTALDISCS.

  I tag with foobar2000.

  In regards to the Vorbis comment, works perfectly.

  Apparently there is incompatibility of all a rocket with foobar2000 mp3 QS.

  For the bug ReplayGain, Fuze will have problems reading the values with the "+" inside. I remove the workaround Nice '+' with Mp3Tag as shown here .

  This will also fix the value TYPE showing a minor issue "unknown."

  Date field still will not appear in the track info, although (zero size).

  Regarding the TOTALTRACKS thing, is how foobar2000 stores in id3 as explained here:

  [HydrogenAudio] Mapping tag foobar2000:ID3

  TOTALTRACKS: Stored in the same frame with TRACK number, separated by ' / ': for example "' 4/9.

  TOTALDISCS: Stored in the same frame with DISCNUMBER, separated by ' / ': for example "1/2 '.

  so Fuze displays the correct values, but it cannot show ' / '.

  Basically, marking with foobar2000 mp3 files:

  "ID3v2 writer compatibility mode" - ONE-> Fuze won't read ReplayGain values calculated by foob2000.

  'ID3v2 writer compatibility mode -' OFF-> Fuze will not recognize kind metafield.

  Open Applications > utilities > Terminal and in a terminal window, paste this command:

  RM ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.finder.plist

  Restart now. The problem persists?

  I noticed that on Photos 10, if you assign a name to a face, that is "John Doe", Photos of iOS will only keep the name ("John") if the person is a person from your address book.   Yes, sometimes all names from the Contact card.  And it's a more boring trap, because I don't know the full name of a person of the tag below the album of people. I need to find the person in the contacts and compare the photo on the card for the photo in the Photos. My current work around is not to use any name of my Contact cards to avoid the abbriviation of names. I add a prefix to all of the names of people. Instead of "John Doe" I use ' Italy: John Doe ", if I met John while on holiday in Italy. This allows to group people by the events, I met them.

  Since the upgrade to iTunes 12.4.3.1 under Windows, I noticed that when filling tags for titles in my playlist ID - for example, update of the artist, Album and work - a new tag "Album fate" is created.

  Is there a way to disable the creation and filling of this tag 'Album fate? "  I'm certainly very finnicky to keep my ID tags clear of unwanted information, and the tag of the Album sorting is not something I'm curious about.  Of course, I can manually remove the tags later outside of iTunes, but it would be better, if they were not created in the first place.

  Thoughts?  Thanks in advance for any guidance, much appreciated!

  iTunes does not automatically create an Album tag kind.  It seems that as it does.

  From 12.4, if the tag Album sorting is not met, iTunes will display the name of the Album in the Album sort field (less 'a', 'one', or 'the' in the English version).  It shows in grey to indicate that it is not really met.  This is to show how the album will sort.

• Finder displays the tags, but tags are not all marked files (El Capitan on Mini 12 end). Any suggestions?

  Sometimes the face tags can occluding an important part of a photo.

• Missing thumbnails in iCloud - TAGS & RECORDS

  iCloud Drive shows clearly at random (and some) thumbnails to preview file (PDF and apparently by other observers JPGs) on the Web page - this makes icloud drive totally useless!  See it's a generic PDF icon among hundreds, impossible search effectively.  Do I remember my millions, the file names of the files?

  If they are labeled under OSX, it didn't have to be maintained through the process of synchronization online?

  And why the files cannot be downloaded.  It means taking the existing folders and re-create them online with the same name, where they already exist in OSX.  I don't know that there is a cryptic reasons for these things.  I'm looking for a workaround solution.

  How are you adding files to iCloud Drive? You use Finder?

  iCloud.com is not really designed to be a file manager. The site is where your files are stored and has very basic features.
