    Hello

Are you binder to share internet from your laptop or your internet provider cable is connected to this wireless USB dongle / device?

If you share internet by connecting this USB to a computer, you will need to share internet on this computer.

You must enable "Internet connection sharing", click on Start menu-> network connections-> right click on the connection to the LAN-> select properties-> click on the tab 'Advanced'-> Tickmark 'allow other users to connect through this connection to computers.

    I hope this helps.

  • Error "Cannot display Web page" when the wireless internet access.

    Original title: dubious connection

seriously, my internet connection Wireless plays up.

It works fine on my laptop, but on my desktop it will work well for maybe a few minutes and then all of a sudden that take forever to load pages or just say 'cannot display Web page' and that will be the end of it. Also says that I'm connected to the internet and internet access. I have done all troubleshooting, clean boot, disable the antivirus/firewall, reset tcp/ip stack, network troubleshooting, nothing is. It works for two minutes then boom, slow as a snail and then not working. If I disconnect my wireless network and reconnect it seems working again for a few minutes then slow again. Very frustrating, any advice appreciated

This has only started happening last week?  You have McAfee on your desktop PC?

    If so,.

See the communication from this "criticism" - McAfee

Some customers may experience a loss of network connectivity and/or errors in McAfee Security Center after a recent update

You should make the fix McAfee, if necessary. There are corresponding communications for their enterprise products.

I had to run the removal of McAfee Development tool, they mention a few times before and it caused a problem with the license if the PC was not connected to the internet during the abduction. Due cat of McAfee support reset their files in order to allow the relocation-reactivation. Here is their link cat - McAfee - media contains the link to the cat

    - - - - - -

I got McAfee, but the connection has started working again on its own so I thought I was clear of problems. However, when I checked it says he was doing routine checks the updates in vain when I told it to do a manually. So stick with McAfee you don't follow their procedure of fix would have upgraded my PC at risk by not updated and, like other McAfee ads have since explained, the application did not refer to its database of threats correctly [and this could explain part of the variability of the symptoms of failure but all involved loss of internet connection]. Actually, I removed McAfee then installed Microsoft Security Essentials rather & my answer IE is faster I knew it [even though I had the Add-ons McAfee disabled for centuries].

  • WRTP54G router: I have wireless internet access, but is not a wired desktop computer.

We have a great wireless network in the home, but my office (which is not wireless) is unable to access the internet.  It is said that a network cable is unplugged - it isn't.  When a cable is plugged into one of the 4 ports on the back of the router ethernet, ethernet LEDs located on the front doesn't light up or blink or anything.  I think that the part does not work.  Is there something I can do?  Should I update the firmware?  Or just get a new router?  I tried different cables, but nothing changes.  The only way for the office get online is to take the router configuration, but then the wireless network and the Vonage phone came out.

I went to ipconfig at the prompt of commands and under the Ethernet connection to the Local network card: my media is media disconnected.  So, I'm guessing that the router's ethernet ports do not work.

    Thanks for your help.

  • My HP Pavilion laptop g6 will not connect to any wireless internet access

I have dealt with this for a while now, and it just happened to no part I turned on my computer one morning and it would not connect to my wifi. I've tried EVERYTHING. My computer allows me to plug in an ethernet cable and the router and use the internet like that. I know it's not the router because I use the internet on my iPhone and tablet. When I try to connect to the internet, it has a red X where the wireless icon used to be, now the icon looks like a computer instead monitor the small bars. When I type my button wireless on my keyboard, a message appears and warns me that I just got my wireless turned off, but no matter if it is off or on this little button always has the light on orange. I can't understand what is happening and I would appreciate if you could help me!

  • Satellite L20-264: wireless Internet access does not work

I have a US Robotics router and a wireless laptop, I followed the instructions exactly in the manual to set up but the internet still does not work wireless but it works through the ethernet connection.

    Can someone help me please.
If it helps my laptop model is 264 L20
    Thank you

It is a pity that you describe your problem WLAN so little time and we don t know what you tried exactly and what results are there.

For properly WLAN use two hardware components must be configured right - the router itself and laptop. It will be interesting to know on what are the instructions you wrote.

Are you sure that your router is configured correctly?

  • Wireless internet access

I have a wrtg54 wireless n g wireless access point. I have a problem with my laptop. I'm used to be able to get a free wifi. But now I can not get access to the internet, even though I can still pick up the signal. I am also pickin, a narrower signal which is overiding, wifi free signal - well that's what I think.

It is can how to configure my routers to pick up free wifi without picking up the strongest signal of security is enabled.

"Piggy backing" off someone elses network is illegal, even if they are stupid enough to not to ensure their equipment.  That said, if your WAP doesn't work anymore, it could be because of many reasons.  You must Access the main router to verify several parameters.

Your WAP configuration must be exactly the same as the router - wireless, same same channel type security, same SSID.  The main router could use auto channel while fundamentally will make your useless WAP if the channels are not the same.  In addition, even if the network you want to connect is not secured, they may have allowed a MAC filter so that only certain MAC addresses can connect to it.  Or, because the router will identify systems all connected by MAC address, they may have picked up an "intruder" was connected and explicitly denied access of your MAC address.

If the problem is simply that your computer is trying to connect to a signal stronger and not the network you want to connect to use network settings to manually select the network should be your main if choice avaialable.

  • I can't connect to any wireless internet access

My system is windows 7, before the internet was fine, I can go anywhere, but now I can't connect to any wireless network. I open the Panel of the network adapter, and I see only the local and other network connections, I downloaded (I downloaded them a long time ago, it has not affected my internet). Then I go to my friends computer and research and on any site that told me to look at the Device Manager. so I checked and under the map ISATAP and Teredo, there was a yellow exclamation point, and in the properties, it says "this device cannot start code 10." This has been a very serious problem, I can just keep borrowing my friend's pc, I really need help!

    Deng Hello,

Thank you for the update on the issue.

    1. How did you try to start the computer in safe mode?

Try to start in safe mode and check if the computer boots to the desktop

See the article: start your computer in safe mode

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-AU/Windows/Start-computer-safe-mode#start-computer-safe-mode=Windows-7

If the computer starts in safe mode desktop, check in a clean boot.

Put your system to the clean boot state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. You must follow the steps in the article mentioned below to perform a clean boot.

  • Lose the wireless internet connection when it is not active

    Hello
I have an annoying problem. IM losing my connection wireless internet access after a few minutes is not active... Well not according to the 'doctor' program - it shows no signs of a problem.

Looking at the 'LAN' icon, I see he's trying to connect when I ask, for example, an update on the current site, but simply not turn on the blue bar.

The only cure to get online is to update the connection.

    What I'm doing wrong here?

    Thanks in advance... Jens

    Hello Jens

Please check the option sign-out after x... on your router. The sign-out feature is used to disconnect the router from your ISP automatically when there is no activity for a certain period of time. For example, place a check mark next to this option and enter 5 in the minute field will cause the router to disconnect from the Internet after 5 minutes of no activity from the Internet. This option should be used if you pay for your Internet service by the minute.

    Good bye
