My MacBook Pro is running slowly (balls of beach, Safari, fall, etc.) - memory usage looking at seems to have 18 rows 'VTDecoderXPCService '.  Is this correct?

    The problem is obvious. You have not enough memory installed. 4 GB is barely enough to run the system, the bare minimum. Note that all of these processes 'killed because of insufficient RAM'? For your less double your RAM 8 GB. If you can swing it install the maximum amount of RAM your system can support.

    When your system is running out of RAM it uses free space on your hard drive for what is called virtual memory. It reads and writes to your hard drive, as if it's real memory and slowing down operations a lot.

  • Freezing on several applications

    I get the spinning wheel of death every time I try to use Safari and save documents. This just started today.  I did the EtreCheck I saw on another thread recommended, and here are my results, just in case where it is useful.

  • Check for the presence of malware/adware/spyware software

    I'm currently looking if I have no malware/adware/spyware on my computer. I followed the steps on the other discussions as removing the. Agent.plist and other daemon.plist. Right now I don't see any symptoms (such as force redirection Web site or just completely frozen screen) but I don't know if there is nothing else left. Could someone there check it please for me? Thank you!

  • Console fill with security errors, Keychain Access blocked

    Since I reinstalled El Capitan 10.11.2 from scratch on an empty partition, even before I restore my directory, but after connecting it with my account iCloud, my console fills up with advice like this:

    Disregard that. Xcode has started to let me authorize code signing request once I left Steam and restart Xcode. It's probably their hooks of interface controller of steam.

    I even had this problem when I had steam allowed in the accessibility section, security and confidentiality.
