W30T-A-101 - battery #2 satellite: Absent - even when it is docked

After his return from the first W30T-A-101 because of his failure, we are now on a second unit.

The second unit appears not to recognise the second battery in the keyboard; or there is a problem with Windows 8.1 and the material.

Battery #1 watch load/load in connected or disconnected mode.

Battery No. 2 is ALWAYS showing "Absent" even when the section of the Tablet is rooted in the keyboard.

As suggested on the forums, we have detached and rebooted, to no avail.

Toshiba failed to load the required drivers, or think that we still have another laptop with a failure?

Satellite W30T has a power supply in the screen and another unit of battery in the base.
Usually the two batteries must be present and must be recognized and billed.

Please note that there are two connectors DC: one in the Tablet and the second in the keyboard dock.
Please connect the power adapter into the keyboard dock to check the State of charge of battery.

my battery drains very quickly even when not in service, what should I do to fix that?

    Hello rabeeha hafeez robi.

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support. It is my understanding that your iPhone battery has been draining more than expected. I use my iPhone all day, so I know how important the battery life can be. Surely, I understand your concern, as much as it seems as if the phone is not in use.

First, I recommend that you check your settings to see what is using your battery life. You can do this by going to settings > battery. In some cases substantive activity of the app may affect the battery life. This means that the battery is used by an application while it is in the background. • Pavilion dv4: battery does not charge even when it is plugged (load plugged says), but doesn't move 19%

    Hello hp Support Forums.

Hardware specifications of the machine (if required):

Laptop model: HP Pavilion dv4 Notebook PC
    OS: Windows 7 Home Premium x 64
    CPU: Intel (r) Core i5 - 3210M @ 2.50 GHz (4 processors)
    RAM: 8192 MB RAM (4096 MB x 2) DDR3
Graphics card: Intel HD Graphics 4000 @ 1 696 MB
Audio: IDT High Definition Audio 16-bit
    HARD drive: 750 GB SAMSUNG Spinpoint M8 ST750LM022 HN-M750MBB

I own a laptop PC hp Pavilion dv4 laptop and this morning there was a sudden battery problem, I was playing Dota 2 and the Steam interface told me that the battery percentage was 12% (7 minutes from the end) then I moved and grabbed the chager, plugged into the outlet and plugged the charger in laptop a few seconds later the laptop turns off suddenly and won't restart, even if the charger is plugged there no light came from the load indicator.

A few minutes later do research for similar problems, there was a solution to remove the battery and the charger then press and hold power for 30 seconds and 3-5 minutes then return the battery but it did nothing.

After with some research, the indicator load on all of a sudden and when I start the laptop it was on 12 percent and billed not (there is no indicator that the charger is plugged) and turns off suddenly without warning.

Later, with a bit of panic and thought, I removed the battery and the charge light lit, which allows me to boot up the laptop and when Windows starts, I plugged it to the battery and it says: 19% (plugged in, load) so I track for a bit, but it didn't move at all, even when I changed the power of High Performance for HP recommended settings , window 19% available (plugged in, load) but it's just, it, don't move or anything like that.

EDIT: When I unplugged the charger to move my computer laptop and plugged in again, the indicator not lit and does not charge the battery thus forcing me to shut down or Hibernate, and remove the battery to the charge light.

Your battery is quite likely to be having no longer life left.

It is that if your laptop starts up without the battery, since the race, the battery test is not a viable option.

  • Battery does not charge even when it is plugged

    Hey world-

I currently have a Dell Laptop Inspiron 1525 I bought in April 2008. A few weeks ago, I noticed that my battery has not been reloaded, even when it's plugged in, and I confirmed it by clicking on the icon the battery and reading, "plugged in, not charging.» Because my battery is over a year old, I advanced and bought a new battery AND a new laptop computer charger, just in case where it's the two that were dead/defective.

However, the issue has not changed: battery still says: "plugged in, not charging.»

I checked with different points of sale, I changed my savings 'power' on my computer and I looked over my ports - everything is in working order.

How can I get this problem resolved?

    Hello

    Is worn or old battery?

Check with Dell Support, their drivers and documentation online and ask in the Dell forums
for problems known. There may be BIOS or other updates available from Dell.

In fact, what causes a lot of wear on a battery empties it too low on several occasions. With today
systems overload are not a problem.

Here are some tips to help and troubleshoot battery issues.

Old battery? Unplug the power to the computer - remove the battery and clean the contacts with a pencil
eraser (do not use this, if your battery is fine slots - just clean up the edges of the knife which fit in)
them and be careful). Batteries are old, or it could be a problem with the computer.
Check with the support of the machine system, and many of them have on line forums.

New Lithium-Ion type battery usually last longer if you do not unload then less than 30%
However on a laptop that not extend their life a lot. Best is to use the a/c adapter
    When this is possible.

  • My battery does not charge even when it is plugged and my orange light blinks when it is plugged.

My cord broke first, then I got the exact cord to fit my computer. Them I got 75% battery charge, but even when it is plugged in the light to connect it to the computer itself has never been white once again, it flashes orange. Now, I'm down to 2% and I tried to load it. It will not be loaded. I tried to take the battery out and just have it is plugged in, but still it flashes orange. Not white as before. What could be wrong?

The battery? Batteries will you know. Tried to contact the Office of support for your laptop brand?

  • Connected same drain battery adapter - Satellite P30 133

You just bought a used machine but the battery seems to flow even when the adapter connected (and turned on!). Battery, adapter or another problem?

It is not easy to give an accurate diagnosis, but I imagine that the battery must be exchanged. That's always the problem with used laptops, because you never know how the previous owner has used the laptop and the battery.

  • Satellite P855 - 10G is low on battery power, even when it is off

    Hello world

I bought the Toshiba Satellite P855 - 10G, but I m terrified because he is low on battery power, even when it is off...
Anyone know how I can fix the problem?

    Best regards

    Hello

Access the BIOS and disable options like: wake-up on LAN and keyboard.
In Toshiba HW Setup I should disable the USB Sleep and Charge feature as well

The two options enabled to discharge the battery, even if the device is OFF

  • All new Satellite W30T-A-101 died after running Setup

We have a major problem with a new Toshiba Satellite W30T-A-101. After running in the process configuration of Windows 8; and using the laptop for less than an hour. Suddenly, the screen is empty. The laptop is connected to the power supply; and we have tried power cycling. It fails to start in tablet mode or laptop. It's a cell DEATH. It is very unusual for Toshiba, but I am worried because it was actually made in October 2013... ! Could there be a problem of batch processing?

Before I return it to the retailer for a refund or replacement of tomorrow; I would like to know if these 2-in-1 laptops are not reliable and I should move away.

Having owned most of Toshiba laptops, it's unexpected, but very disappointing.

    > Having owned many laptops Toshiba, it's unexpected, but extremely disappointing
I can understand you. It's really unexpected, but... it happens.

Date of production is not so important. Day of purchase is important. Bring it back to your dealer and ask for replacement. Do it as soon as POSSIBLE.

I had a search on the forum but not found all the messages related to a question, I do experience where the battery will run out at night even when the R700 is powered off.

I recently disabled the option of USB charge but this has not resolved the problem (even if I never used it actually load anything, it seemed to me a good starting point).

I was wondering if this issue has been seen a resolved elsewhere before asking Toshiba to replace battery?

    Hello
Recently taken a U300. Can someone please help... are the AC / battery charge lights supposed to stay on blue all the time... even when the lid is closed and the unit is turned off (but still plugged?)

Yes. If the laptop is turned off but connected to the power supply the two LEDs will be all the TIME.
When you disconnect the power supply both will be OFF.

  • Satellite U920t: Win update - impossible to restart even when power off / on

    I have a U920t satellite.

When I turned on this morning, Windows displays a message "keep your PC until this." Installing up-to-date I have 5... ».

This status remained on for centuries, in fact, I left it on for hours, hoping that it was a significant update file, I even went to do errands and when I arrived home, she was always the same.

I tried pressing ALT - DEL but nothing happened. I then the PC off, left for a few minutes and he fed up, but the PC comes right back with the same update message.

I have also noticed that, after that the PC was supposed to be turned off, the LED of the drive system flashes on and off intermittently as if it is actually still being run or locked.

Bearing in mind that this PC uses the SSD solid state, and I have no way to stop feeding the unit completely, I guess I'm really not turn off the process.

Can someone tell me how I can get this PC out of the loop and get my PC back working again once it please?

I tried to watch the Web on another PC, but all the information seems in every sense.

I presume that it is really a matter of Microsoft, but I'd really like to know how to get back again in my PC.

    Concerning
    Tony

    Hello

Have you tried to press and hold the button of power lasts 4 seconds?
Usually, this should stop the process of loop.

    Also try this:
Switch on and press F12. Now you should see a start menu where you could choose some devices. Last option should be HARD drive recovery.

Choosing this option of HARD drive recovery you would reset the system back to factory settings.
    Check it out!

  • Replacement battery for Satellite Pro A10

    Hello
I'm trying to find a replacement battery for Satellite Pro A10, PA3284U-1BRS, 10.8 v original battery, 3600 MAH. A couple of merchants said that it is no longer available and has been replaced by PA3285U-1BRS, the amperage is a little higher at 4400 MAH, but declared voltage is now 11.1 VOLTS. Is this normal, or are they trying to just me to pawn off the coast with something that is really not compatible with the specifications of the original part. I can't find the part for the moment available on the Toshiba site, seems to have been the only way to get a true replacement who would be sure to adapt. Battery wizards there know what would actually?

    Thank you.

    Hello

As far as I know, that you can also use this battery.
Battery (Li - ion, 6 cell, 4400mAh) part number: PA3285U-2BRS

  • Satellite A300-PSAG8E - drive HARD light flashes even when I do nothing

    These are my problems

    1. my HARD drive indicator flashes even when I do nothing (flashes every half second or more)

    2. when I go somewhere my screen turns off and when I move my screen mouse lights up but nothing happens. Everything stands still (sometimes 20 seconds, sometimes 2 or 3 minutes) and it is ready to operate.

BIOS upgrade to the version 2.20

    OS: Windows 7 Ultimate
    Laptop: Toshiba Satellite A300-PSAG8E

    Someone knows the solution?

    Need help please! Thank you

    > 1. My drive HARD light flashes even when I do nothing (flashes every half second or more)
Even if you n touch cell phone t, the disk is running and different applications, access data. Applications and processes that are running in the background cause this blinking. Notes; This isn't a problem!

    > 2. When I go somewhere, my screen turns off and when I move my screen mouse lights up but nothing happens. Everything stands still (sometimes 20 seconds, sometimes 2 or 3 minutes) and it is ready to operate.
Disable the support by modem and disable the settings turn off the screen while the laptop is not in use. This is possible in the Windows 7 power management.
